Mech Posted December 11, 2009 Share Posted December 11, 2009 The Giant TalHawk fighter bomber carried the massive Talwar through the air, dodging the Hydrolaser blasts of the Medusae even at close range. It wasn't quite enough and Jet Jiro had to issue an emergency separation order, sending the Talwar and it's smaller companion, the Mockingbird piloted by Vernon VonBraun tumbling through the air to impact with the Phillipine sea below, and then the sandy bottom beneath. The much smaller robot was sent Flying, virtually skipping across the surface while Talar made a colossal Belly Flop. The big war machine rose to its feet amidst half a dozen hydrolasers, each flensing armor from its massive frame. In a handful of minutes the two warriors had cleared out the Medusae there, and began setting up the relay to the other side of the Island.Two miles away, Steve McAllister rode in in the Thruster equipped Tesseract, ARMORED's pride and Joy. Equipped with the massive Avenger II Gatling cannon, and a sextet of missile launchers, the massive machine was virtually unmatched in combat, Especially with it's "Archer Top" parts. Designed by Steve to compliment his combat style, the mech zoomed past the the Medusae, and left a trail of firey explosions in its wake. It landed on the beach, rising to it's ninety foot height, and it's head and the "Third Eye" system within looking for targets. Then quite unexpectedly, The gun fell to the ground, and vanished into motes of light, followed shortly by the sixty ton robot, with a loud metallic crash. "Cut!" The big machine seemed alive, it's chest expanding and shrinking as a human's would, and gradually the massive robot became the form of an exhausted Connor Fontenot. The Two other robots vanished from existence, and Connor sighed."Too many shots. It takes so much to fire off that many rounds, maintain that many copies, and forms."Zack nodded. "It happens. We did get the shots we needed. Thank God Talwar fights with either fists or Axes, that's less draining on you. Radio the other site, tell them to wrap for today. Good job people, take a break."Connor for his part brought his feet under him and slowly made his way to the jeep he'd use to go to the little bungalo he was sharing with Aurora while they Filmed in Hawaii. He waited for the others to arrive from the other sites. Ayato and Darren were at the Beta site, where they'd been filming with Talwar and Mockingbird. Aurora, Hazuki and Minazuki were all at Site C, near the actual city, filming The Interaction between The three Female Copilots, Dr. Ilyana Drake for Steve, played by Aurora, Naomi VonBraun for Vernon by Hazuki, and Nadine for Jiro, by Minazuki. The copilots all got along better in the show than the pilots, even though each was different, with Lucy being a model, Nadine a Guerilla, and Drake a brilliant scientist. Dauntless Posted December 11, 2009 Share Posted December 11, 2009 Though she had a few favorites, Aurora really could look like anyone she wanted to. In this case, she was playing a 30 year old red-head scientist, which actually she didn't find all that hard, and she'd chosen her present appearance based on about what she thought it should be. Of course, from her viewpoint, the fact that she was playing the romantic interest of the character Conner was playing, just made it more interesting, she'd never done anything quite like this before.Still, she was a very quick learner, and already quite good with regards to the preforming arts. And of course, she insisted on doing her own stunts, not seeing any reason why she should step back and let some stuntwoman take her place. Her natural capabilities showed though as well, and she was already proving to be an increadibly good actor. This was in part, do to her ability to adapt, and the many social situations she'd been in before, but she had loved plays sense she read her first one, and that made it easier for her to fall into a role.Of course, her natural grace and perfect movements were a help as well, she could move with exactly the grace needed, or even be as clumsy as nessary, if she needed to stumble over something, she could do it on purpose, yet make it look like an accendent. Generally though, it was a bit harder for her to downplay her natural powers and abilities then it was to make use of them, and that had been her intial difficulty. Running more than 3 copies burns his reserves out blazingly fast, but Christ could you imagine fighting all three at once?"It was clear the younger nova referred to Connor.He'd nailed Jet's scenes easily, though it was a stretch for him to be as happy as Jet usually was. "I.. agreed." She was a bit unsure of herself for a moment, as she started to respond, but she shook it off after a second or two, becoming her usual extremely confident self."Whatever happens, darling, I'm sure we can handle it. Clothing was quickly removed and soon the young nova couple was making love in the hottub. Hours later now abit more relaxed, They both climbed from the tub and toweled each other off. At the moment, the child was still connected to her, so she felt him biologically, she knew how well he was, or wasn't.
