The fresh hulks lay in right hundred feet of water. With the added muscle of th full battallion raising the ships wouldn't be hard, just time consuming. Everyone awaited onsite of the first four ships, his own team looking nervous on their cameras in the cockpits. They ran the show now, and it was a daunting task, to raise as much as they could in such a short time.

"Well Boss you ready to light this Candle?"

----------------------

Above the remains of the Sunken Japanese ships, a team from the Geshpent Jager battallion sat, waiting for the grugrust to arrive. First battallion had alot of injured, so Harger only sent one team. Besides their mission wasn't raising enemy ships, but just the energy cannon turrets on them.

Josh had done the best he could to hype up his new troops. This was important work that they were doing... possibly life saving, and he did his best to impress that on everyone.

Of course, he might've built it up a bit too much... which is a bad thing... and it was showing on the faces of his team.

Josh made sure that he was on the CB's team frequency so that no one else could overhear and addressed his team. "Ok guys, this is it. We're doing big work and everybody's watching, but that doesn't matter. We're not doing anything that each and every one of you can't handle. I have the utmost faith in each and every one of you... even you Lollipop." His team could see him smile as he said that, and bits of nervous laughter came back through the radio.

"Everybody, just focus on what you're doing. It doesn't matter who is out there or who is not out there. Don't think about anything but what you're doing. Focus and concentration. Just do the job and I can guarentee that none of the other groups will do it as well, as quick or as smoothly as we will. So let's get to it."

The rest of his team saw determination and excitement in his face. The same face that he always had when it was time to get down to work... and that was comforting to them. As was the fact that Josh had taken the lead position instead of just overseeing.

Josh switched back to the Sideshow channel and responded. "Let's get it lit!

Everybody in positions? Ok, lower wenches..."

And thus the first, test and demonstration raising commenced.

She went to the Grungust, giving it several moments as she checked it over, to make sure that everything was good. It hadn't really taken any damage in the battle, nothing had fired at it that could have actually damaged it. Still, there were some things that needed to be done, to make it more battle capable, and to get the morph ability online.

Once she made a quick check, she gave a thumbs up to the engineer who was in place, and headed up to the cockpit. Once there, she took her time bringing everything up, then headed out into the skies, followed by diving into the ocean.

Lieutenant Johnson, this is Archangel, am now moving to support and guard position, let me know if you need any backup.

Josh heard a voice on the radio and devoted a sliver of his concentration to it. That sliver recognized that it was directed at him, he had indeed heard his name. It also decided that the voice didn't pertain to what they were doing right now, and so didn't require any further processing. It finally decided that it didn't sound out of the ordinary.

So, trusting others to be doing what they were supposed to be doing, Josh gave an off handed and very distracted "Ok, that's good." back to Archangel.

Hours later the first American Battleship was raised to the surface, the gaping gleam of plasteel where the attacks from Omoikane had sunk it gleaming in the sun.

Below, Fifty miles away, They were finally ready to remove the first turret from the Japanese battleship.

(Juliana I need a pair of piloting check DC 30)

(Josh you can choose to examine this ship or move on to another.)

The trouble with piloting this new prototype under the water, was that it made piloting all the more difficult, getting use to the new systems, and new capabilities. However, she was an excellent.. well, if she was completely honest about it, though it was a bit of bragging, she was an amazing pilot.

The water did make piloting a bit difficult, but she managed to adapt to that without too much trouble, and she turned her attention to what the team was doing, and watching for possible threats from outside, or if it became necessary to jump in and help in order to save lives.

The first ship was out of the water, now to get it floating. He turned back to the CB's channel. "Great job guys. Now we just need to hold it here until we can make it float"

He then turned back to the main channel. "Ok. Lollipop, take my spot here, and Box and I will see what we can to to get it floating."

With that, Josh led the way, inspecting and repairing the ship with his right hand woman's help.

After they got this one floating, he'd split everybody up into teams, with one or two of the CB's with each group. He'd try to float between groups and help where needed (mostly with repairs) and oversee. As much as he wanted to be in there getting his hands dirty, he had more responsibility now.

Taking 10 on the repair roll, have skill mastery with it.

10 + 15 = 25... should be plenty

The first cannon was out of the water, and the crew began work on the second ship, while the Grungust returned to the Ark to turn over the futuretech weapon.

The American Battleship was ready to sail within an hour's time, with that many people working on it. After that the groups all scattered to the other ships.

(Josh make me 3 repair rolls and one Technology roll.)

Josh was pleased with how quickly they repaired the American battleship and how quickly and expertly the crews went after the others.

Josh, for his part, helped out at the first opportunity that presented itself, until he felt that group had everything under control. Then he went searching for the next place he was needed, trying to concerve as many of his nanites as he possibly could. If he rationed them now, when he didn't need need them, he should have some when they were an absolute necessity.

The process was repeated for the other three cannons.

(Piloting checks 3 sets of 2 DC 30 each)

As for Josh, his crews continued working raising three more warships over the course of the day. When all was said and done, they'd exhausted the nanite supply in the mechs and were forced to return to the ship after sixteen hours onsite.

(You may post as you see fit and interact with other PC's, or NPC's. It will take 8 hours to refill the nanite containers.)

She went back down underwater, to try and retrieve the next cannon, and somehow she managed a perfect dive for the second cannon. In fact, that particular dive went so well, that she was able to grasp the cannon and return to the ship with it, without a single misstep. It was one of her more perfect moments, smooth and easy. It was also, unfortunately, the last bit of luck she had with regards to this mission, her piloting was very good, but it was not quite enough with the difficulties of controlling the Grungust underwater. She now was thinking that she really wanted to try and improve her mecha's systems, perhaps if it was tweaked a bit, it could have done a bit better.

Two of the four cannons wasn't bad, considering they were fully functional. At the very least it was a ready supply of parts for the cannon that would be onhand should the need arise. Back aboard the ARK the Grungrust was slotted in its hangar and the techs began servicing the massive war machine.

After they returned to the ship, Josh gave the not unexpected order to clean their mechs. After having been around and in the salt-water that much, it was crucial that they keep their mechs in top working order... especially their mechs (if the repair mechs broke, who'd be there to fix 'em).

Josh finished working on George before any of the others, and so he helped them out, setting the standard that when you were finished with yours, you helped out someone who was still working. No one wanted to be doing this, they were all dead tired, but they all knew that this needed doing. So, with a couple of jokes, and the occasional 'wayward' spray of cleaner, Josh helped lighten the mood.

Then, after everyone was finished, he declared loudly, "First round's on me!"

That cheered everybody up, and set them in motion towards the nearest lounge that served alcohol, or what passed for it on this ship.
