He was unable to entangle the demons arms since MegaGirl was still much in the way but he managed to tie the creature up to it's waist. It shouldn't be able to move much now.(ooc:Hype - no need for a roll, you can't fail this one. The Demon writhed in pain and screamed and MegaGirl could feel how it went limp under her as it got momentarily stunned by the force of Tessa’s blast.Click to reveal.. This was still the big Uggo-MegaDemon, even if he was now a small and pretty girl demon, and she hadn't told her where her mother was.MegaGirl got back to her to her feet, keeping her grip on the Succubus - one of her big hands wrapped around both of the Succubus' slender wrists with near crushing force."You... you, stupid little demon - tell me where my Mom is!" MegaGirl roared at the Succubus, holding her up with negligent ease, so her face was level with her own. MegaGirl shook the Succubus, rattling her bones, the trailing grapple line swaying beneath her, showing the demon how serious she was."If you don't, I'll do something... something bad to you."Click to reveal.. Gently, MegaGirl shifted the Succubus so she resting comfortably in her strong arms. She hadn't meant to break her, she just wanted to know where her mother was.Karra glanced down at Watchwoman, her large eyes wide with guilt. "I didn't mean to break her, Serene. I just wanted to know where Mom is." Karra looked at the Succubus in her arms again, remembering the way her tongue had tickled her between her legs. It had tingled, in a funny-weird-good way."Serene, can we bring her with us?" Karra pleaded, a note of hope in her resonate, yet girlish, voice. She didn't see what was all bad about it, but Echo and Tessa seemed to think is was bad, and she didn't see why they would lie about something like that. So she gently set the Succubus down on the ground and took a long, uncertain step away from it."Um... Let's get going where?" MegaGirl gazed around the summit of the ziggurat, taking in the barren landscape. Completing her turn, her eyes came to rest on one of the prismatic orbs the bracketed the Tablet. She leaned down close, staring at it for a long time, tilting her head to the other side, hoping to knock loose a flash of brilliance. Her finger poked the membrane of the orb and pierced it without much effort. When she removed it her finger was covered by the same prismatic colors that stuck like a thick liquid to her finger and slowly dripped down to her hand.In the meantime Echo was scanning for the missing superheroes and closed her eyes as she concentrated on the subtle micro- and radiowaves that could give a hint to their parents’ whereabouts.Click to reveal.. Echo finds minimum traces of a signal that ends right where the orbs are. Expanding her searchpattern and scanning for various frequencies and trace elements (like Dawnstar’s powersignature) she can confirm that the Parents had been here not too far ago. The young heroine smiled first but then felt a strange tugging sensation in the pit of her stomach. Suddenly she was bereft of all breathable air in her lungs and she only managed to gasp instead of shrieking girlishly. Just before anyone could react the towering heroine got sucked into the orb.The surface of the orb briefly rippled and then resumed to glow with its eerie beautiful prismatic light…Click to reveal.. Joani Posted November 14, 2009 Author Share Posted November 14, 2009 The Legacy Heroes bravely followed MegaGirl's (involuntary) lead through the prismatic orb leaving the Pyramid of Despair behind.Enveloped by the strange prismatic gooey liquid a sense of suffocation made the young Heroes almost panick and lose their cool. Just before things went from bad to worse the sensation faded away.
