[Open IC] A Night at the V [Complete]

The powerfull thump thump of the music and the drone of chatter was suddenly shattered by a woman's scream and the crash of breaking glass and snapping wood. The Amazon at the door went flying backwards through the glass and wood partition that kep prying eyes from getting a free show from outside. He form was already limp when it hit the floor and rolled to a stop at the foot of the coat check window. Two massive men, the larger of the two easily broke eight feet and the smaller was only barely so and very nearly eight foot himself. The pair stomped into the club their stupid eyes searching.

The Amazon tried to get up but with the kind of casual violence of a truly cruel being the larger man simply took two long strides and swiftly kicked the woman in her midsection. The air whuffed out of her inaudibly in as the raucous music continued and she collapsed, down for the count. Around the room reflexes and instinct took over as mortals either sat stunned like prey or bolted for any other exit. The four remaining Amazons were already reacting, taking steps forward, reaching for weapons. The Scions, in their booth slid, leapt, or simply pushed their way out, spreading out so as to not get in each others way. Behind them, and unbeknownst to them, Harld rose in the darkness of his own booth, his hands forming massive fists, the knuckles looking like knobby boulders.

To the mortals two extraordinarily large men had just barged into the club looking for violence, looking to inflict pain. To the scions the men were not men at all. To the Scions they looked like roughly hewn statues of stone, earth, roots, and tree limbs. There were massive in size and breadth and as ugly as they were huge. Their arms ended in wide spade like hands with knobby rock and bark encrusted knuckles. Full of anger and eitr the two Titanspawn bashed their way through a pair of mortal bouncers as though they were not there at all and headed toward the Scions. Their dumb beady eyes full of hate and hunger, thier fists looking more like clubs they waded into the club ready to drawn blood.

As Travis saw the shattering glass, he realized automatically that the forces of the Titans had come. As the two Titanspawn marched towards the group. Travis sprang up, but walked forward a few steps, and bent his knees, waiting for them to come closer.

He wasn't a fool to rush off right at them, part-divine or not. Just wait till the others have them distracted, then strike. It seemed a long time, waiting for the others.

Nick drew his gun, targeted the bigger creature standing above the crowd, and fired at it just as it was distracted by a screaming woman. The bullet took what might have been the creature's eyebrow off.

Tick 4

With senses honed by years of training and a year watching over the strip club, the Tribe of Ishtar reacted immediately to the threat posed to their Tyrant.

With barely a glance spared for their fallen sister, Helena and Christine, the other Amazon watching the bar, moved forward against the press of the patrons, drawing concealed knives. The men were huge, dispatching one of their own with ease, and they would have their vengeance. With intuitive coordination, both women attacked the larger of the men with quick, precise slices of their knives.

Both powerful women gritted their teeth in fury as they slashed at the giant, their sharps blades scoring its skin, but unable to punch through, until, with a fierce crow, Helena pierced its side with a perfect thrust. Both women frowned at seeing that the 'man' still had a lot of fight in him.

Stacy and Tracy, the 6'5'' blonde twins watching over Sapphire this shift, each pulled out a huge handgun, looking normal sized in their large hands. They moved back toward stage, their guns trained on the troublemaker resisting the onslaught from their sister amazons, mouths open in shock. Without further delay, they opened fire on the monstrosity before them.

The loud bark of gunfire rang throughout Venus, causing the fleeing patrons to cry out in alarm. To the astonishment of all who saw it, the enormous man weathered the hail of bullets, one even glancing off his skull, merely leaving a shallow gouge.

Tick 6

A deep, abidding yet cold rage chilled Reider as he saw Sapphire's woman come flying into the club. These things had no right coming here. They had no right to exist in this world what so ever. In a subtle way, the boy figured out that this was what he existed to do.

He rose out of his seat at the bar, as people ran and screamed and one of the brave Scions through a chair at it. The knife came up from his boot and he began his charge, gaining momemtum as he moved to join the Amazons at the brawl. He leapt up and came down on the larger of the two. His knife drew a long white line along the arm it brought up to defend itself, but not eitr was drawn forth. His attack had done nothing! In a moment of clarity he realized he had brought a knife to an axe fight.

As the Titanspawn were engulfed by the others, Travis saw his chance. Moving toward one of them, he summoned the power in his Ichor and kicked out with a strong blow. It struck the monstrosity in the lower leg, and the force behind it knocked the Titanspawn's foot off the ground too high. The unbalanced giant toppled over, and his great mass struck the floor hard.

Sapphire's heart beat loudly, fear rising as the two Titanspawn came crashing through the front to the club, a sharp yelp of dismay breaking free of her throat as the woman sworn to her was kicked mercilessly. No! It's the minotaurs all over again!

Still trapped in the far part of the booth, she smoothly climbed onto the table, looking over the pandemonium in Venus. "Cindy, Jezabelle, stop screaming," Sapphire commanded to the two waitresses she could see. "Show the people the back ways out, quickly now."

Then Sapphire leapt from table to table on her way to the stage, her towering heels no trouble at all, evincing grace to shame a gazelle. Along the way, she slid the bolero jacket from her shoulders, then jumped for the pole, twisting in the air, wrapping the jacket around brass shaft. Upsidedown, she grabbed the other end of the jacket, bracing herself against the pole as she circled down its length, legs moving enticingly, nude but for a pair of heels and a thong.

"Hey boys! Everyone comes to Venus to see me dance, get a long look, I'll be the last thing you see." Her voice was eerily seductive being directed at the two Eitr-tainted giants.

Ticks 7 and 8

A pair of the amazons moved forward directing their attacks at Krais, the largest of the Titanspawn. One managed to slip a knife into the crevasses of the rocky body and cut through some of the root like tendons. The Scion of Horus, his aim true took advantage and fired his gun into the beast, the bullet shattering rock and rending through root and bark. The other Scions and amazons found their attacks missing or simply unable to penetrate the rocky hides of the creatures.

Taking an opening where he had it Travis, Scion of Hera, made a bold move and lashed a kick out at the legs of the smaller of the two trolls. Guided by will and perhaps even fate he sweapt Jorgun's legs out from under him, sending the massive monster crashing to the floor. Seeing the situation out of hand and getting worse Sapphire leapt into an impressive display of grace and beauty landing on her main stage and making full use of her divine gifts and a ten foot length of brass pole. Unfortunately for the Scions and mortals the trolls paid as much attention to Sapphire's comely looks and seductive movements as they had the amazon at the door.

Harld, his actions unnoticed by the Scions charged down from his hiding place and drove a fist the size of a softball into one of the twin amazons as they readied their guns for the next volley of fire. His rocky fist slams into her back and the sound of crunching bone is matched with an agonized femail scream as Tracy crumples to the ground. Krais, his rocky wounds already closing over as moss, roots, and bark grew into the damaged areas, swats at the blond Aesir who dared attack him his might hand smashing into the boy with the force of a sledgehammer. The blow pushed the Nord back but aside from a great bruise it was absorbed by the Scion's frame with nearly no effect. Jorgun, rolled to his feet and launched a mighty kick of his own at the Scion who dared trip him. The woody fist struck Travis in a glancing blow which was further turned aside as the man's coat tore revealing a vest of peacock feathers mystically enchanted to be as tough as strong leathers.

Guillermo, being closest to Harld spun and stepped forward swinging a handy chair at the troll. The chair exploded into splinters and shards as it impacted the Titanspawn's impregnable frame. Irritated but otherwise unarmed Harld grinned, "The battle has begun!"

Nick watched the creature's shrug off multiple attacks and then wounds heal with dismay. This was not good. In the back of his mind he hoped the fleeing off duty cops had the sense to dial 911 because it was looking like they might need more firepower.

Moe shouted, Nick, there's a third one right here!

Nick moved away from the creatures and again targeted the bigger, somewhat wounded creature. He prayed to Horus as he pulled the trigger.

Well this certainly wasn't working well. He pulled the string on the canvas holding his sword and drew it in a single deft motion. With Nick firing rounds off things were going to go South very fast.

"Gotta make this quick."

Ayato dashed for one of the tables near the door, Stepping his way up first onto the seat of the chair, then the table and finally launching himself off the table with a mighty leap, the blade of his Katana a strobing rainbow of color behind him as it caught the club's myriad colors of lights. With all his might he brought the Blade across the upper chest of the giant who had been wounded.

Tick 9 (Tick 10 for Stacy)

Sapphire paused in stunned disbelief as the two Titanspawn ignored her display; when she used the full power of the ichor flowing in her veins, she had never failed to captured anyone's attention. That was an Epic Fail! I even stopped that raping Minotaur in it's tracks with my moves. What the fuck are these things?!

She felt the bile rise up her gorge at the wet sound of the rocky fist crushing bones in Tracy's back, the spraying blood speckling her face and naked breasts. Another one of the Trolls had shown up, or had always been there; it didn't matter now, she had to worry about those still standing.

Stacy's jaw was locked tight, tears flowing unheeded down her cheeks at her twin's terrible wound, gun pointed at Tracy's assailant. Fury was overtaking Helena and Christine, their own opponent's near invulnerability enraging them.

Another shot from Nick did no more than rock the Troll's head slightly. Ayato's dramatic slash through the air, his kaleidoscopic blade falshing, fared no better on the granite hide of the Troll.

Sapphire tumbled to her feet, then skipped several yards back down the stage to put some more distance between her and the Trolls. They were barely harming the thing, they needed to make every hit count.

"Girls, move back and prepare to strike," Sapphire said to Helena and Christine, her silky contralto managing to cut through the din and chaos. "Stace, focus on the big fucker, the other one will get his turn. On my mark, Stace fire, then knives and Reider, move in cut the Muthahfuckah down!"

"Aye Tyrant," the three amazons yelled in answer, her voice focusing their attention. Helena and Christine broke away from their opponent, backing to the walls to gain some room. Stacy parallelled Sapphire, putting the stage between her and the newest intruder, prepared to fire at Sapphire's command.

Hearing the Amazon scream, Travis whipped into a furious motion. He rushed at the Titanspawn facing him, leapt grabbing the beast's arm, and swung around with his momentum to kick the troll in the back. He missed, but managed to regain his feet quickly.

Unfortunately he wasn't sure how long his peacock vest would absorb the blows that would come.

Tick 10, Next acts on Tick 14

There had to be a way, his mind muddled through. Against the great bear, he had wounded it slowly and wore it down. Arrows and running, that much he remembered. Someone had to figure this out. As long as that someone wasn't him, they had a chance. Phea called to him and Reider could see the Amazon's backing up. He pumped his ichor to the wound and it went away. Now he had hope.

She had a Plan!

The only (slight) flaw was that Reider was on the wrong side of the beasts. That could be easily remedied. Reider ran underneath its outstreached arms were it had hurt him but ticks of the clock before. He slashed along its leg with his knife, came out the other side, and came to a stop alongside the Amazons - smiling. The fact that his blow had NO effect on the troll seemed lost on him.

Ticks 11-13

Harld, his momentum from crushing Tracy still propelling him crashed his boulder like fist down onto Stacy as she tries to move back. Eitr and Ichor enhanced as he is Harld's fist crashes down into Stacy's frame. Bones snap and flesh tears as the sickening sound of Stacy's body being torn in half is accompanied but a fountain of blood and gore. Mercifully Stacy was dead before she could feel the pain. As Ayato flies through the air toward, his blade seeking to cleave itself through Krais, Jorgun takes a swat at the Japanese man. His meaty hand barely misses the nimble Scion as Fate intervenes and prevents the strike from connecting. Krais, occupied by the stabbing attacks of the Amazons and Reider drops a powerful strike on the young Nord. The man's divine constitution and heavy clothing helps but it is not enough as the Troll's claws tear furrows in his back and send him sprawling to the ground.

Nick pocketed his useless gun and moved up to the uninjured Troll yelling, "Hey, You! I want a piece of you!"

*Oh, this is stupid. I play dodge ball while everyone else gangs up on the others. Focus. Don't let him touch you. Pull the fight into the street and then get the heavier gear from the car.*

"Cut!" Sapphire yelled, as a Stacy-shaped piece of her died inside. Why do you follow me? I've failed you.

Their sister's death fueling them, Helena and Christine crossed the few yards between them and the larger of the two giants, slashing with a fierce focus.

Snarling at their blades uselessness, they dropped them and cautiously moved away from the trolls, heading for the back exit, on the other side of the stage from Stacy-killer. They needed heavier weapons.

Fear and rage washed through Sapphire like a vile tide. The trolls stood like pillars holding up the heavens; they could not resist the might of three of them together. Though the thought made her muscles feel like water, she turned a grin like blackest sin on the Troll, who's fists still wore Stacy's life.

"Come get me, titan of rock and earth," Sapphire purred, presenting her bare, blood-speckled breasts rudely. "I'm soft and delicious and all for you, if you can catch this blue-haired rabbit."

With a mocking pirouette, Sapphire swayed through the curtain to the backstage area, heading to the back exit, opposite the one her remaining amazons were heading for.

The last of the attackers, Reider sprung to his feet with a might heave of his hips and legs. He rolled forward with his movement and launched himself like a spear into the belly of the beast. He poured his heart and soul into the blow even though he knew he needed the axe to win. Maybe ... maybe if he could slow it down ... he could run and get it. That wouldn't be running away, would it?

Guillermo pulls all 5 of the jaguar teeth off his left armband and throws them at the ground in front of one of the trolls, and concentrates on the image of his jaguar warriors like his father told him to do. Soon, a fully-formed warrior squad armed with traditional Aztec weaponry stands where the teeth were cast. They are armed with Maquahuitl and aztec shields. Guillermo shouts in an ancient language, "Attack, brothers. Bring down the giants," while he points at the Trolls. The warriors rush forward and attack the trolls.

Things didn't look good. Travis decided that since bold actions hadn't gone sour yet, he'd might as well keep going. Summoning the power in his Ichor yet again, he rushed up and armlocked the troll in front of him, twisting and wrenching. The troll was immobilized, but unhurt.

The good (bad?) news was that so far the uninjured Troll-creature was so far ignoring him. The much better news was that the last screaming civilian had finally run from the room.

The bad news was Nick still didn't have an effective weapon. The really bad news was if this was going to work Nick needed it to attack him.

Nick put one foot forward and held out his arm to the creature with the back of his hand pointed towards the thing's face. Most people would recognize as a classic guard position.

Moe said, "Let's hope he hasn't seen 'The Matrix'"

Nick said, "Moe, go outside and let me know if I'm backing into anything."

Moe said, "On it."

Nick moved his fingers in invitation.

OOC: Jorgun is locked until Jeremy's next action

Harld turned toward the blue haired whore, the woman he'd been eying all evening. Lust for flesh and blood and a desire to ensure that not one of these stinking Scions of the gods escaped drove him to chase her down. He turned, ignoring the puny native warriors and started after Sapphire, the imagined taste of her blood already on his lips. As the troll moved away the Jaguar Warriors, following the command of their leader, struck out at Harld with their obsidian bladed clubs. Bark shattered and roots were severed but not lasting damage was done to the rampaging troll as it took off after Sapphire. Nick offered his challenge to the massive troll Krais, the oldest of the three brothers and their nominal leader. He laughed, a sound like a rockslide, "You seek to try you mettle weakling? So be it!" He swung a massive fist at Nick but the Scion nimbly dodged the beast easily evading its attack. Even as the fleeing patrons began to free up the exits the two off duty officers plowed through the crowd, long gleaming Smith & Wesson shotguns held high. The distinctive slide and click as the two shotguns loaded shells into their breeches could be heard, muffled over the lingering screams. Then a pair of thunderous blasts as the cops opened fire on the largest of the "men". The shotguns easily hit their target and the close range blasts blew chunks of rocky flesh and more from the creature's body. Krais, now quite wounded, roared in pain.

The Troll's blow missed by several inches that might as well been a mile, then, finally, backup started to show up. Better still, while the Troll was busy trying to punch Nick his backup shot the devil out of the Troll. Well, almost.

Nick said to the Troll evenly, "Police work is a team sport", pulled out his gun and pointed it at the Troll's head. Nick used his off hand to steady his aim.

Sapphire was running away to Glory and Reider had a knife in his hand. He had to get his axe and he turned to get it. As he was running back he saw Bob coming at him. "Axe" he yelled to his dog for no specific reason. It didn't really sink in that Bob was running TOWARD the trouble, so obsessed the axe was he.

Vjorn had to chew through his rope, wait for someone to open the door and try to run out, curse his lack of thumbs ... and a key. He ran through the place bowling over several 'ladies'. He ran around to the stage and growled out his arrival onto the field of battle. He saw Reider, knife in hand, running back stage and guessed correctly he was going for his axe. The boy was stupid, but no coward.

The biggest troll was blasted to the ground and that became his primary target. He lept through the air, the lights flashing a rainbow over his white glistening fur as he did so. Unlike this artificial Aurora Borealis, this one came crashing down to the ground and onto the titanic beast.

He landed on the giant and tore at his back with his jaws and sharp claws. He came away with some roots and moss, but not any of its ichor.

Reider was running backstage and was making it back ot the stairs upstairs.

Ayato smiles as the cops blast chunks out of the Titanspawn, and he ducks in low, right in Front of it and smiled. "Payback's a bitch, Time to pay the Tab asshole."

He summoned up the power of ichor to guide his blade as he brought it up the Titanspawn's Midline in a slash that would utterly bisect a mortal man.

Nick snorted and thought with a certain grim humor, *Kill stealer. That should have gone on the other one. Well, don't just stand there, 'arrest' the other one.*

Nick said, "Hey there killer." and put the barrel of his gun up against the head of the creature momentarily being held motionless by Travis, then pulled the trigger. At point blank range it didn't just bounce off and ripped a part of the thing's forehead off.

The disheartened amazons burst out the the back door, steel banging hard against brick. The desire, the need to hurt, the man who had slain one of their sisters, and may killed another, burned in their veins. They moved like hunters after prey, heading deeper into the alley where the employee parking was, retrieving the heavy rifles they had stored inside their cars.

Sapphire danced through the other back exit, nipples stiffening in the cool night air. A quick glance revealed where her remaining Sisters of Ishtar were. As she danced the other way into the client parking, the steel door was kicked from it hinges by a foot even stronger, the Troll chasing it's rabbit.

Sapphire stepped to the hood of the first car, maintaining her balance with effortless grace. Then she danced, the only music, sorrow and rage strumming on the chords of her spirit. Her pale skin was almost incandescent in the black night and bright flood lights, the blue rose on her back vivid. A slender finger beckoned and sapphire eyes promised, luring the blood-mad giant on.

She looked ineffably sensual, frightful, grief-stricken, as she swayed and stepped from car to car. Grace unwavering, her blue hair was wild, her face and breast speckled by blood increasing the duality of desire and horror her movements evoked.

"Catch me and I am yours," Sapphire whispered, her voice for the Troll alone, silver tears falling like rain.

Jorgun found himself in an arm lock, one of the puny Scion's had gotten the upper hand on him. Not wasting the opportunity Nick shoved his weapon into the things face and pulled the trigger. Rock, root, and eitr exploded from the creature's head. Jorgun stumbled backwards away from the blast with with a quick jerk of his muscles easily overpowers Travis. Pulling the man into a bearhug the troll laughs, "You will learn the folly of trying to wrestle with your better Scion." Jorgun's muscles flex, the grinding or stone and the creaking groan of wood and root mixes with the crack of bone and the tearing of flesh as Jorgun all but crushes Travis' chest.

Harld smashed the fire door aside as he chased Sapphire out into the parking lot. She leapt onto the cars, somehow not falling in her stripper's heels, and continued to try and lure the troll to follow her. The troll growled and its massive hand crunched into the steel cased fire door, tearing it from the hinges he threw the door at the vixen even as he continued to plod forward. The door spun like a deadly Frisbee but Sapphire bent over backwards in a lithe dodge at the last moment and the door sail over her supple body.

Tick 21; Next Tick on 24

Reider reached the top of the stairs, grabbed up his axe and lept back down the stairs in one mighty bound, rounded the corner and bounded back into the dance area and to the side of Jorgan. He back flipped over a table, hooked the dance pool with his axe, and propelled himself back into the fight. He landed in a three point stance, knife hand on the ground and axe at the ready. He took the momentum and used it to stand up, weapons branished in a fighting pose.

"Prepare to die Beast," the young scion snarled. Axe in one hand and knife in the other. Though hurt, Reider was saving his last ounce of ichor for the battle, not for healing ... not yet.

In the back of his mind, screaming in a small voice, was his thoughts for Sapphire and were ever she had gone off to. She was his cousin and she was certainly in danger. AFter all, Reider could easily count to ten and three was well within the realm of things he could keep track of. One troll was on the floor and one was in the fight. The other one might well be with Phea, and that was unconsionable. It was a small voice though and right now a troll was in front of him trying to kill a scion he barely knew but none the less felt responsible for.

The two policemen slid the action on their shotguns in an almost coordinated movement. The shells ejected as the two drew a bead on Jorgun and began to slowly move into a flanking position. "Nick!" one of them yelled and Nick recognized the voice as belonging to Frank Simms, "Nick, we don't have a clear shot."

Following the orders of their chieftain the Jaguar Warriors immediately took off at a run after the fleeing troll. Outside in the parking lot the five men fanned out and struck at the great beast with the bladed edges of their weapons. Again obsidian blades shattered against rocky hide as their weapons failed to wound the Titanspawn.

The Scions were in trouble and Vjorn knew it. The lovely Sapphire was bravely dealing with the danger and everyone needed to rally to her defense. He had to act. Mustering the threads of fate about him, Vjorn lunged at the troll, aiming for his throat. Powerful forces coalesced around him. His white fur flew like a blizzard driven by divine wrath. Nothing would deny him this time. The enemy was would not survive!

He took in in the side of his neck, bearing its weight to the ground as he dug in and felt its foul eitar flow through his teeth. He shoot the troll's head violently as its life failed and the job was done.

Now on with the mission. Kill the Monster, save the Girl. If only he could speak.

Ayato watched the Wolf take on the the titanspawn and smiled as it got a real good peice of it. Now was his chance to slip away, There was still a third one to contend with and he hadn't seen the hostess for some time. He dashed out the back of the club running hard to find the other Troll before things got even further out of hand.

Vjorn's jaws clamped down on the troll's throat tearing through flesh and vine, blood and sap poured forth from the wound. Undeterred the dire wolf shook his entire mass, focusing the force to his jaws, there was the mighty crack of rocks shattering and Jorgun went down thunderously. For an instant there was a pregnant silence in the room. The body of Krais had already degraded into little more than a pile of rocks vines and tree limbs, soon Jorgun would be as much as well.

With a voice that implied decades of leadership, Nick ordered, "Frank, Ted, stay here. If the bodies start to get up again, shoot them." From Nick's tone he considered this a serious possibility.

Nick started to search the 2nd Troll to see if it was alive, then he mentally said to heck with it and put his gun in the Troll's mouth and pulled the trigger.

Well, he had told the beast that it would die and it had died ... just not at his hands. Vjorn had brought it down and his hear filled with pride that his 'Bob' had done it.

Then his eagle-sharp eyes caught sight of Ayoto running away at Scion-speed. He was going somewhere and his miniscule memory remembered - his Cousin! Reider leapt off in pursuit of the Japanese Scion and was soon right on his heals. They were going to the back parking lot ... were the Amazon's parked and that's were they kept their rifles! He needed to do this and get it right. He needed to get into the fight and be more than a punching bag."

The ran out the door and were soon leaping over car trunks and hoods. They could see the monster now and Sapphire in danger. The beast was swarmed by dark-skinned warriors in spotted-pelts. They hacked at it, but the Troll seemed unhurt. It was going to take more.

If the Amazons were around, he couldn't see them. Part of him wanted to call out a challenge, but the hunter in him cautioned him to not warn his prey that doomm was stalking it. All he had to do was find its weak spot and strike a mighty blow. Fate was fading from his reach, but he had enough left for one more great, legendary blow.

He could do this. He could kill it. He could win, or die trying.

"We must fing its weakness," he said quietly. "We must make our blows count."

With great ichor comes great - Door!

Sapphire continued her flip, the fire door flying by just above her breasts, landing back on the ground smoothly. She watched the gang of... well she wasn`t sure of what - Aztechians? - assail the Troll to no effect. She glided back cautiously, heels clacking loudly on the pavement, watching the Eitr-blooded killer. She wasn't sure if the Troll would turn on the pest-like men, or chase after his seemingly vulnerable prey, but she was ready to bolt if he came to close.

As her nearly nude figure become visible from between the cars, Sapphire was distantly aware of hearing car horns blare and tires screech, and more than one lewd suggestion.

Helena and Christine watched the young woman they had sworn to serve with admiration, not just for her fine form, but for her willingness to draw the Man-Creature's attention with no seeming way to defend herself. She was braver and stronger than she knew.

Keeping themselves hidden by the bulk of the car, they took careful aim at the Troll's head, towering over the Jaguar Warriors.
