Mutants & Masterminds: Future Imperfect - Solo (not Canon)

It was another cold winter night on the streets of Vegas, and the crowds were still present despite the cold. Joshua huddled on the corner watching people pass by him with little or no concern for him. A few had even threw some money at his feet, whether out of pity or genuine goodness, he didn't care or now.

The last couple of days things had been harder than even what Josh was used to. Their was a general feeling of danger that was just hanging in the air, and it didn't sit well with him. From the brief glimpses of TV that he caught, mutant sentiment was on the rise world wide, and it seemed to him that the feeling was causing him to feel uneasy.

Joshua moved from his perch, heading towards the bigger casino's. His path taking him down past on of the free clinic's he had been to when he was younger. From the looks of it something big had just gone down, and he thought he go and take a look at just what was happening. A perfect distraction, just what the doctor ordered.

The paramedics pushed a bloodspilled gurney inside the hospital and Solo could see how hell broke out inside. Whomever was lying on the gurney seemed to be in serious condition. The driver of the ambulance was on the CB-Radio constantly broadcasting he was fully engrossed with that task.

A shame to be shot these days, not even Christmas eve was longer sacred to these stupid assholes. The world was turning into living hell - that was clear like a sunny day in July.

Speaking of opportunities - there were no guards around and the receptionist was on the phone, almost as much distracted with her stuff like the driver.

It was just to easy. Joshua slid behind a spectator and with a practiced ease quickly and quietly lifted his wallet.

As soon as he pocketed the wallet, Joshua casually made his way inside the clinic partly to cover his tracks in case he was discovered, and partly because he wanted to see just what had happened. Someone getting shot on the streets wouldn't bode well for him so it paid to at least attempt to find out what happened.
