Venus
hey - I'm fine with both. You can also put us right there next day at breakfast if you want to.

Stargaizer
Alley Kat, you have until noon EST tomorrow to post before Draygo continues with his tour. This way Courier and Violet won't have to wait so long to post again.
Stargaizer
That being said, if Courier or Violet would like to post a fiction, feel free.
Venus
I suggested for the three of us to meet at the Cafeteria for breakfast - just to get a chance to know each other.Objections? Ideas?
Courier
I think that works... we'd probably have to meet first in the hallway if there are really hundreds of people in this facility.
Stargaizer
Unless something unforseen happens (which already has, so it's possible), Alley Kat should be at the cafeteria by the end of the next post (where he and the two of you parted ways). If you just 'happened' to show up there for breakfast, Draygo would introduce the three of you and then you all could take off...So, if the two of you wanted to wake up and start getting ready for breakfast, that'd be ok.Oh, and now that you've 'slept it off', everybody's back to normal... try not to quintuple botch again, eh? *smiles*
Venus
hey - you made that roll - I would've never botched like that. Invisible Castle loves me.

Stargaizer
Ok, I'll be honest, this is my first time ever ST'ing a fight (in the WoD/D10 setting anyways).Any questions/comments/concerns/tips/tricks/pointers/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to tell me if you think I'm doing something wrong, I want to hear about it.Ok, HL's are like in the Abby book or V:tM (the only other WW core book that I have to reference). 7 health levels before death with increasing dice pool penalties (take away a dice) starting with 0 and going up to 6.Also, soak will be with full Sta for both Bashing and Lethal damage, you're mutants not normal humans. No base soak for aggro though. Also, I'm going to say that you always re-roll a 10 on a soak pool. Sound fair.Topic of Aggro, I have a question. Would you like to get rid of it? I'll leave this up to a vote, majority wins. I have no problem with it, and I'd just as soon have 2 different types of damage as 3. Up to you guys, yea or nay.Standard difficulty to hit is a 6 unless modified with a power or curcumstance (such as shrinking down to a dragonfly gives +3diff). This ok, or would you like some way to be able to increase or decrease your defense (or even usually get a reflexive dodge), make it a resisted roll in some way?Anything I missed? Justin OOC
no agg damage is fine with me

Courier
Hmm... considering I can't take it and I can do it it's probably in my best interest to vote against this. But I'm good with being out voted here.
Courier
Ouch. Absurdly good roll on to hit, weak on damage, but probably good that it's not agg.
Stargaizer
Ok, so no agg (and courier, with Invul agg was treated like Lethal to you anyways).Everybody ok with the 'reflexive dodge' that I've implimented to make hitting someone a contested roll? If not I can just edit it out, no big deal.
Courier
At a min it's fine in a Danger Room test environment.
Stargaizer
It would be standard Dex+Dodge, and it wouldn't apply if you were 'flat-footed'. Basically it's to show that some people are just plain harder to hit.And I was going to make it a situationally standard (i.e. unless flat-footed) part of the combat rolls. Courier
Grumble. Great attack, damage terrible. 18 dice, 7 sux.But thats a brilliant idea V, no dodge for him I think.
Courier
I think Draygo has an action before Will's next.
Stargaizer
Yes, and he doesn't have to fight TK for this one either... though he did just get bum-rushed by the flying girl... sheesh, can't a half-dragon get a break? There's a GIANT OCTOPUS in the room... *grins*Going good guys.

Courier
Ya, my bad. I'm thinking we should try to take down the shapeshifter first. Draygo has truly massive defenses, so we might have to really unload on him many times (actually Will already has twice). If Morph's defenses aren't as good then we could put him down then 3 on 1 Draygo.Or... maybe Violet could use a telepathic zap to order Draygo to attack Morph? Courier
I should have asked this yesterday.ST, can Will not grapple and just hit the tendril holding him with the staff?
Crusades NPCs
Unless Star says otherwise, I'm going to say no. That is what grapple does - restrict your movements. It doesn't damage you initially, though that can be attempted in later rounds. Right now, Will doesn't have the leverage to strike with a staff. His arms are pinned to his sides.
Stargaizer
Will has the option to either try and break free (str+grapple) or try and squirm free (dex+athletics) or do something unexpected like Alley Kat did.If Will were grappled in such a way as to leave even one arm free, he could attempt hitting the tenticle, however, as previously stated, his arms are pinned. That's why Draygo specifically 'shot' him in the leg.
Courier
Dex+athletics then. That's 8 dice... fewer than he rolled (although his Dex's Quality seems directly on point, "Athletic")
Stargaizer
Actually MAS allows you to substitue it for 'similar' rolls, so you'd get 10 dice, minus 1 for the damage, so you'd have 9... just drop the last two. I'll edit.(oh, and when you're counting up suxs, don't forget to subtract 1's)
