CIC BS: Valkyrie
Advancement Points and Plot Points:Table a1 Attribute Point costs 8 AP1 Trait Point costs 7 AP1 Skill Point costs 3 APAdvancement is supposed to be slow but continuously. Advancing Attributes, Skills and Traits cost the same like during Character Creation. (Example: Rising an Attribute by one step from d8 to d10 for example would cost 2 Attribute point or 16 AP)Each Character starts with 6 Plot Points and cannot have more than 12 Plot Points at any given time. Plot Points (PP) can be used to gain Bonus Dice (see table for any given roll even AFTER the result has been determined or PP can be used for so called dramatic editing. Depending on how many points you spent at once (in feedback with the GM) you can either change a deadly wound into a bare scratch or total miss. Dramatic editing can also be used for non combat situations like with DRADIS scans to find that source of water or tylium… . Another example would be to change a scene where your Character hides for cover behind some crates which the GM has never spoken of or described. The Plot Points let you change details of a scene to your benefit within a reasonable measure. The GM has the last call on this of course.Plot Points will be awarded for good roleplaying or daring actions that emphasis your status as Hero. Plot Points are given out during sessions and should be spent just as quickly (unlike Advancement Points that should be accumulated and spent between stories/chapters)Bonus Dice for Plot PointsTable b1 PP = d2 – minimum 12 PP = d4 – minimum 23 PP = d6 – minimum 34 PP = d8 – minimum 45 PP = d10 – minimum 56 PP = d12 – minimum 67 PP = d12+d2 – minimum 78 PP = d12+d4 – minimum 89 PP = d12+d6 – minimum 910 PP = d12+d8 – minimum 1011 PP = d12+d10 – minimum 1112 PP = d12+d12 – minimum
