The process had already begun at the slightest mental contact.

*You know what to do.* he reassured her. *Follow where the impulse of instinct leads.* He could feel it already...the sensation of her fingers clasped around his. Already he felt the melting of that sensation, could feel her feeling him and back again, an indescribable feedback. Soon he was looking back at himself and she at her and the two melted and blended like the ancient Ourobouros, an infinite loop. He sailed on the wings of her young mind and she plumbed the depths of his experience. The two breathed as one, hearts beat as one. The electric pleasure of their skin fused into one being and together they rose...as one, beyond Lorean, beyond stars into a place of pure mind. The new enitity, the new flesh of ideas opened its eyes onto the vast Ocean of Consciouness that was the Earth. Time and Space dropped away, the feeble physics of relativity losing their meaning as they moved together beyond the speed of light. They were the opening of a flower, the cries of the newborn, and the last breath of a dying elder. Anywhere they chose to put their atention, they would be, in the instant of their thought.

For a long time, neither stirred, soaking up the connection and the awe of a primal awareness. Whenever one of them so much as began the impulse to form a thought, the other felt the ripple it made and so they felt the gentle current of their polarities, a magnetic like field of possibility that they could steer together with the slightest nudge.

As one the thought came to this new composite entitiy, each half asking the other, *Where do we go?* And the answer came from both, as if of its own accord and neither could be sure who asked the question or gave the answer.

*Let us give aid to Michael's Psyche...*
