Joani
I apologize in advance for blatantly "stealing" from Bradford, but he basically does what I've been doing in my games and I will be handling it the same in this game.Power MaxingThe point of Willpower and the variable Quantum cost are all the same. As well as the roll and spending the sucesses gained. The primary difference - ney the only difference - is that Maxing AUTOMATICALLY gains a point of temporary Taint. Period. Should you botch you will gain MORE taint.Needless to say the price of power is greater in this game but then I always felt that it was a little too easy to run around ignoring Taint with the normal rules.Dying for PowerAs in the book but every time a character burns health to gain Quantum (be it one level or 10) they gain a point of Taint (temp) per health level burned. Joani
House RulesThe following powers get a new Quantum minimum and Level:Domination - Quantum 6, Level 3Mental Blast - Quantum 6, Level 3Premonition - Quantum 6, Level 3Telepathy - Quantum 6, Level 3Pretercognition - Quantum 6, Level 4Psychic Shield is only available after my consent/approval - the same goes to Invulnerability vs. Mental Attacks. These rules apply to the NPCs aswell, so you can very well consider these powers to be extremely rare to find.
