Guest
Yeah, and it's sooooooo easy too.But hell, if you tease anyone else, you're being discriminatory.Americans are a safe target.Everyone hates Americans, even Americans. No seriously, some of my best friends are American.Puts me in mind for some reason of what an English friend of mine said the first time he saw Gaelic Football: "Does that have rules, or are they really trying to kill each other ?"Almost as entertaining as his reaction to the first time he saw a hurling match. We had to get his mother on the phone to talk him out from behind the couch... The Ranger
Just in case for people who might not know "Hurling" is not a sport where the players vomit on each other. Its a team game where team members on both sides carry large pieces of wood and attempt to kill each other. Its like ice hockey without any armour and you can move the stick where you like...you are considered a wuss if you go on the field wearing anything more than a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. A cousin of mine knocked out all my uncles front teeth while playing a "friendly" game in the back garden. Broken limbs are unusual but stitches are common.I believe the game was originally used to train warriors...after playing a couple of games a battlefield would look tame. Note: This game is usually played by man-like things lured down from the slopes of desolate mountains by the promise of raw meat and a sheep to cuddle at night. Aeon
Scotland also has its collection of rather strange "sports." You will all have heard of the Caber toss where we throw big logs around. Don't ask me to do it though!Aeon

The EU nations are annoyed that he wants the Missile Defence System without consulting us, yet does not want a European Defence Force. Same with American companies raping the resources of smaller countries.I'll stop there. But I like you guys!Aeon

Jager
Aeon, who do you think we learned 'resource raping' from anyway? We'll try to reign in our robber barons and you try to make up for 500 years of colonalism. Hey, americans should be more greatful that the Europeans left the world in such a state that we could exploit it after they got the boot.
Guest
Have you ever thought that nova devices could still exist in other universes? For instance you have the both the teragen and the protectors were planing to leave for space. Both factions had to find a way to get the novas ,that were not spaceworthy, safely off this planet. So they had to create to devices to help them with this lofty goal and they could of created more devices after they left earth, especially if they kept the blueprints
Stheno
Well Jager...I'm not going anywhere near that argument. I like American people. It's just...ahhh European prejudices. We have prejudice down to an art form. After all, we've had lots of practice...
Jager
Raven, look at Warp ranges. Who needs space travel when you can jaunt form star system to star system. Once you find a habital world, you just Warp back to Earth and pick up your buddies. In the current game I am in, two of the players are making space worthy characters and the third teleports (to Mars). Mind you, this is an 'early days' game where the grand total of known novas is less than twenty.
Stheno
I ran a game for some friends while I was on holiday in Italy. Now the characters were somewhat ridiculous, mind you, but they all ended up chalking up rather more than 66 million light years in one game session...
