This idea world came to me, after different stories and games converged in my head,

They owned the mentors, so they help set about helping their project tacking the forms of humanoid beings, but being fussy in their choice it incorporated aspects and species' like by all 6. They came up with a human like being that looked like the perfect being having no faults, but not evolving from primates but from felines. They ended up with a feline/eleven looking humanoid being, superior to any being around, or that will be, and able to modify its genetic make-up to improve on it if necessary, at the same time they are making sure not to forgot or get to stuck in just the physical world.

They set about helping the pilosi, and the lesser Neanderthals, eventually modify the Neanderthals to Cro-Magnon man. They had as there base a small continent in one of the great oceans, that would come to be known as Atlantis, they choosing Atlantean's as a new name for there physical form. They where taught numerous scientific knowledge by the

Mentors, to speed things along, to add to what they didn't already know. They kept the teachings to themselves and only gave some knowledge to the humans and pilosi. Man had spread all over the globe, and some even forgot about those who helped in their development, except as a myth. The pilosi being small in number stayed with the Atlantean's

Helping them, and joining in their new society and order.

These beings slowly grew in number, and evolved faster with the use of quantum, but they where also changed and altered, by the same energy that helped them, they grew to divide into a caste system based on intelligence and quantum power. They learned the technique to cross dimensions into alternate universes; unfortunately they lived on an alterant earth.

They crossed worlds, and when they came across species like there own that could not defend themselves considered them play toys and food, in their journeys they did not come across any other quantum using beings, neither had they even meet or new about psi users, they new theoretically about sub-quantum, but had no practical experience with those

Users types.

They eventually come to earth our earth, time has passed, Atlantis flourishes, so does humanity, tho, the people not interacting with the Atlantean's directly have a much lower level of civilization some having none being stone age hunter and gathers still, others being bronze age and having different forms of government in charge.

Sensing the presence of each other, the Atlantean's watched them careful, as you would watch a cobra, but since they did nothing to signal themselves enemies they did nothing. The mentors watched and observed all, not interfering. The entities of higher Intelligence, controlled what the lesser ones did, and set up a couple of bases, they where low in number, so they observed, they gathered some humans around them, turning them into servants and slaves toys to be used, in their shielded quarters. When they where no longer useful, they where consumed. They came to see the Atlantean's as a threat, for being psionic in nature, and different to themselves, they saw them as weak for not enslaving humanity, or attacking

Them when they came through. War was brewing, they eventually attacked a small Atlantean settlement on the south American coast, in large numbers, but the automatic defences as well as their psionic abilities helped them hold them off, call for help, then activate the alter mate defence they had, a time/stasis bubble that surrounds an object and holds time to a stop

Inside things stay as they are when its activated, nothing can get in, when activated it was set to last 50 years, the field was bubble shaped and had a mirror like finish from the outside, you could not see in.

The entities tried but could not break through, thus started the war, during it places where changed and altered geographically through damage to the environment, by the entities, the humans the entities captured where altered and changed into monsters to be used as foot soldiers and cannon fodder. More entities where transported to earth prime.

The outlying Atlantean settlements where time bubbled, if the could not be defended, people where evacuated. Weapons of greater destruction brought out of storage. Things finally came to a head when they where able to enter and construct in the ether zone separating dimensions generators, that would cause and interference barrier and stop the entities

Entering earth primes dimension, they would be powered by earth primes seepage, sent through by pyramid/crystal constructions at ley line nexuses and node points situated underground and underwater. The entities found out but could not gain entry to the ether zone, to activate them a large ceremony/ritual had to be performed by all those of seepage

Manipulating ability the entire pilosi race and those Atlantean's that could. [The mentors watched on they considered this a survival of the fittest test of the Atlantean's/avatars there pilosi and human allies and there whole society.

During the ritual the entities through all they had at the Atlantean continent, they failed in there goal, but in the end the end they where able to destroy the Atlantean continent, emergency time bubbles activated saving the Atlantean people

And there direct allies settlements/habitations, the bubbles going here and there with the waves and earthquakes, the percentage not bubbled where ported or warped to high safe ground or to the space stations they, had those in orbit,

Attacked the remaining large clusters of entities, with there most powerful weapons they had, while the earth shuddered and groaned, some did what they could to stop the damage that was being caused to the planet, and the innocent people

Living on it, which knew nothing about the war, except as gods battling in the sky and in the distance.

Hunter killer teams where forged and the entities where hunted, until the last one was killed, the humans that had been used as slaves and play toys, and as a ready food source where given their freedom. Those that had been altered phicaly and mentally into soldier monsters, where either killed or altered back to something basically human, and let free.

Unbeknownst to the Atlantean/avatars all those humans that had been in the care of the entities had been tainted, their genetic make-up warped subtly, some of the entities had even breed/raped some of the females or forced the males to breed with them and children where born of some of these unions. The children lived, and spread their genes to slowly diffuse with the rest of the population they breed with. (This is my source for the nova's origination, the result of hybrid offspring and from those that had been in the unwelcome service of the entities).

The entities where now sealed of from the earth prime dimension, but it did not stop them from trying to find a way through, or hoping the barrier would weaken and allow the access, to destroy or disrupt the energy generators, who acted as conducts for the seepage.

The slow process of finding the time bubbles, called peace bubbles with their protected cities and such inside proceeded, collected from the bottom of the ocean or those that had been submerged in lava flows underground and underwater. They came to the decision that if they stayed visible the rest of humanity would eventually come to realise who and what they where capable of and want what they had. They had to protect the bubbles until they turned off freeing the people inside. The stations where able to monitor during the war who and when bubble generators where activated, so all where accounted for, with the time duration of most known, they where able to put them in isolated areas, and have forces ready, so when the bubble stoped any entities that where trapped in the bubble when activated could be dealt with fast and effectively. The people that where lost though combat had the genetic sequences remembered in the racial memory bank if they wanted to reborn into new bodies, other wise they awaited until children where born either through the natural method or through the scientific approach of artificial wombs and uteruses, and genetically superior babies made and designed through genetic engineering, alternating and manipulation, by hardtech or psionic means. Where born needing an Atlantean/avatar soul. Those pilosi that had been lost, where fortunate that they all had their genetic code and some genetic material stored in the gene banks, so their potential was not lost to there race, their knowledge was not lost, As they had brain tapes done, that recorded who and what they where and knew at the time of the brain recording, so there relatives and descendants had access to the recordings, All those lost where made part of the collective, tho only a shadow of them was their, their beings having moved on to the next incarnation.

[This refers to the collective mental like structures that peter f Hamilton has in his books, those beings that where able to integrate a copy of what they had been into the very structure of their habitats they lived it, temporary storage of the memory matrix in my world is done by specially designed created soul stones that everyone caries. They are then downloaded To the nexus nodes created to house the shadow beings that is a copy of the people who then form a collective artificial memory and new omni personality. These nexus nodes are connected to each other, and people are able to access them to ask for information and advice.]

Plans where discussed about what to do and where to go, it was at this time that the saurians stasis bubble de-activated the monitoring clairs passed on the knowledge of what had just appeared to the Atlantean populace, who where apprehensive to say the least given what they had just been through. The mentors came forward and informed them of who and what the saurians where, where they originated. They also informed the saurian high priests of what had happened since they had been in time stasis, given that another 2-3 species now shared earth (humans, pilosi, and Atlantean/avatars), and that the earth had yet again gone through another turbulent period, they decided to join forces with the Atlantean alliance, and forged "the compact", a permanent alliance.

Plans where made to set up underground cities and worlds inside the planets crust, shielded and protected from detection, they called this the asgareth network, all the ruins left by the destruction of the war was recovered and recycled to build the new habitations, those considered not of importance for recycling where destroyed using nano-technology, all

The old saurian sites that where detected, where search and any artefacts given to the saurians, then they where cleansed using nano-technology, they even altered the fossil record to follow a path they wanted.

They set up macro-life habitats throughout the system, and around the gas giants, mining resources from the asteroids and from the gas giant, not tacking anything from the planet, that would later be noticed by the people as they grew in technology and sophistication. A colony base of operations was set up on mars, with only a small amount of external

Structures, they where shielded and had external ground based and orbital protection, in the form of ion and plasma and nano tech weapons. They had done some exploration of other systems, using Clairs, and far seers. And with the assistants of the mentors where introduced to the grays and the other types of gray types. What had been happening on earth with the other project, as had the Atlantean's and pilosi on the gray project. So they new about each other and their capabilities, they just needed a mediator for a while, while they grew accustomed to each other (this was to take awhile).

The population is moved to the new cities or habitats; some go into stasis sleep in states habitats pods. As people grow and society changes, they move there space habitats so that they are not detected, in the end on cloaked satellites are left in orbit, the space stations and habitats being moved to another start system which has been colonised. Thos macro-life habitats also being teleported to the colonized systems, for better protection. The greys where allowed on earth with saurian or Atlantean observers, to make sure they didn't overstep themselves, or break any of the compact rules, they where accepted to the alliance 50 years after the first meeting of the races.

The Atlantean's did not totally leave the growing humanity, they made sure that protected enclaves of those pilosi who wanted to live above ground where protected, seepage energy was used to cloak the areas in a field which hid what was there, and made people ignore the area and not want to do anything with it, all these sites where integrated into national

Parks and protected, by the humans, or though Atlantean manipulations. They had learned from the mentors so they also started up a advanced eugenics program not long after they went into reclusion, the greys helped out and still do today, searching for those amongst humanity, that had any Atlantean genes descendants of offspring not collected after the war

Of human and atlantes parents, these where all found and then integrated into the society. They also searched for those in humanity that where different in a superior way to the rest of humanity, be it a physical or mental, ability or attribute above the norm, (genetic sports).

These people where both approached and given the choice of joining them, they where made a bonds-man/woman or fetch. They did not want to abduct and keep anyone permanently against their will, so they developed the techniques of abducting those who did not want to join them, putting them, in machines that kept there bodies feed, and stopped there aging process while inside, and they where put into a dream state where they thought they where in the fairy world or such, while there body was harvested for gene samples, sperm or eggs depending on sex, some of them where genetically altered to

Improve them, as you would breed stock to improve the overall quality of a herd of animals. Then they where returned to everyday life, with a gap missing in there life with the fairies. Their genetic material was then stored and used as was deemed to make sure they the humans and other races from the alliance didn't have inbreeding problems and to ensure that the genes of the sports where not lost due to them dying or not breeding. (Eg black death, or celibate priests).

It was during this time that they detected the outcome (found early on in the time sequence) of the entities breeding, and from the mutations caused by them to the people they had imprisoned and used as food and such, and all the others, some people where developing nodes in their brains, they watched those they detected and made sure not to integrate any of their genetic material into the alliance races. As they didn't know what the node would do, they had records of the entities they had dissected showing similar type gene material in the brains. And they where not sure if or when they would show if they had the potential for quantum manipulation, they deemed humanity not ready mentally or socially or culturally or morally for the ability for quantum manipulation, they watched, and tracked the progress of the sequence of genes through the populace, and found that ever so often if enough of those with the genes sequence breed, a being that had the nova potential would be born.

And when they erupted they where doubly watched and when they went of the tracks mentally, they took the nova out, neutralized his ability through the use of psionic energy, and then did what was necessary to find out what made the nova tick, and how to either neutralize them better, or help them avoid the results of taint. As they had allot of experience in the alteration of a persons psyche and some biological changes, through those that had more seepage then psionic potential in them, those with a psionic potential are unaffected by corruption, just like the pilosi.

They continue the eugenics program, finding and recruiting, harvesting the optiman genes that appear in the random mutations that is chance and natural selection, its during this period that the greys are given permission to do a eugenics program, to help try to control the spread on the nova potential genes, as well as harvesting genes for there own purposes to create caste races and hybrids, as long as they share there results, and prime gene material with the alliances races. Some have the immortality helix which insures as long as they don't die by violent means and are not deprived of the medical technology the can live forever. Normal lifespan of most people is 1000 years only start aging and going down in health in the last 5-10 years, this is without nano-tech or pico-tech implants, with they could live as long as they like. If they don't want to bear children but want some, they use the exo-wombs, and have access to or can buy gene material, material from animals, Atlantean/avatars, pilosi, grays, and their allies.

All alliance spaceships are told to avoid detection, unless it's planned that they are detected. WW1 comes and goes, WW2 comes, defunct mothballed old saucers and ships are used to buzz and watch the humans at war, to see how effective they are, nuclear test are monitored.

A harmless virus is let loss, that only effects those with the genetic potential for seepage and psionic (sub-quantum), using medical detectors, and dowsers, all those that where affected not many now due to the abduction and eugenics programs over the ages, are approached, and told what they have the potential for and to be, they are either recruited into Argus and aegis, or if their potential is over a certain level, set of world to one of the colonise that have set up as an indoctrinating and awakening centre, and to help train. Educate them to help integrate them into the new society that awaits them, some are sent back as agents and watchers.

The overall effect of this is the generators feeding the shield constructions, are being affected, power to them is diminishing exponentially, so the shield wall is going down gradually, already suspected incursions by high level entities has occurred, scouting out operations. The quantum registering detectors are calibrated to separate and identify the different signatures given of by entity quantum users, and the human nova quantum users.

The alliance holds say 20+ systems all, plus those small colony worlds that have mining or research bases on them, each has a mixture of races on it from the alliance, since the majority are psychic, to ensure that all have a voice, every sentient intelligent being in the alliance has an affinity link, and have since birth, going back 100's of generations. They think of it as a right for all, especially by those who are none psionic and have yet to have there genes interbreed with the psionic genes and bring forth a hybrid.

When the population of psychics on a planet reaches over a certain population number a "World Mind "is started to form, with the increase in population of rational minds psychic and non-psychic it increases in speed to form. This is an integrated planetary consciousness that embraces not only sapient beings but also lower orders of consciousness in animals, plants, and substances only minimally interacting with the mental lattices.

Coadunation, the subtle unification process of a world or galactic mind. (From the Latin it means, "to unite into one", Coadunation implies the continuing change involved in the collective Mind's evolution. It is not in itself unity, but leads to Unity.

Unity, coadunate metapsychic minds within a specialized conjunction, a form of mutualism involving harmonious mental operation with a minimum of stress, the most perfect form of social intercourse known. (Individual minds do not lose their identity within the Unity; Unity actually enhances one's feeling of identity and self-worth.

Galactic mind, this embraces all coadunate, and non-coadunate, living, and nonliving creatures interacting with the mental lattices.

Of the twenty plus core colony worlds settled by the alliance, all have reached the Unity stage with the majority of their populations, only the greys, Psymbiotes, and Invid have reached a Planetary mind stage as their home worlds are the only ones with a unity populace of over a 10 thousand million, which is the minimum needed, they achieved this because all their species have psychic potential and talents, and have since they started to evolve into what they are now. No galactic mind has yet to truly form yet, but its slowly happening.

[Alliance species make-up]

The alliance is made up of the Atlantean's/avatars, the pilosi, humans allied to the Atlantean's and went of world with them, as well as those humans taken throughout time as fetches or bonds-people, their hybrid offspring who are then incorporated as full members of the alliance. It also incorporates all those species derived from the greys as well as the greys, the mantoids, the saurians, the Psymbiotes (another water evolved species like the greys, they look like say Qin with tentacles tho smaller in size about a foot long, and 5-10 cm in diameter and designed evolved for underwater living), I'm going to also include the Qin in the alliance as the mentors would have informed the alliance of the Qin existence, just to see how they would respond to it. Since the chromatics are psionic in nature, I'm going to include them as probationary members of the alliance compact. And as for the Doyen, they to have been included, why (cause you keep your friends close to you, and your enemies or unknown allies even closer, and with all those psychic minds and species to keep an eye on them its safer for the galaxy. The Mentors are honouree members, as they are part of the alliance but not, they are the grandfather type race you ask help of but at the same time are very cautious of what they do concerning you and what they give you.

I'm going to also include the Invid, a race found in the palladium Robotech RPG books, as I just adore them, and love the concept, but am changing their history, no robo tech master or zentraedi. Instead the alliance makes friends with them early on, and sets up embassies and small settlements on the Invid home planet, the leader Regis shares the secret of the flower of life with the alliance, and while all this is going on the Regis learns all about the outside world, the enemies and so on, examines the technologies and concepts behind alliance tech, this is how the Invid get the idea designs for their mecha and such. The along comes a coalition ark, the alliance sends forces to defend the Invid as a race, in the fighting some of the coalition forces and ships get planet side for a short while before being destroyed, this causes the Regis, to divide mentally into the regent/Regis mentality's. Planetary defence shields and orbital reaching cannons are brought in to defend the Invid home world.

The coalition is dealt a fatal blow, when a metaconcert of 1000's of minds psionically attacks the ark, aiming to kill/consume and destroys the progenitors in control of the ark forces. This is done, the progenitors having no experience with psionic's before. The majority of them die, others are brain dead or damaged, some are catatonic, and others have gone mad. The ark is infiltrated by alliance recon forces, the phyles are brought into revolt, the ark is consumed in a civil war as the remaining projeniters try to take power, the offensive/defensive capabilities of the ark are brought off line. As are there engines, the ark in moved by the metaconcert minds to a safer orbit around the sun, away from the Invid home world. And then alliance Special Forces personnel support the revolting phyles in the ark. Considering the size of the ark, the battle to take full control and destroy the last of the progenitors and their soldiers takes 30 years, to finally rout them all out.

They war over the phyles that rebelled against the progenitors are given a planet of their own, and in return they help reverse engineer the ark with alliance personnel, even bring back online those things that had broken down years ago or never been used in living memory. Not surprising the Mentors supply and give advice and tech details on the whole ark, having known and monitored the original builders of the ark, and watched their progress then destruction, with the combined effort the whole blueprint is made, giving the alliance the ability to create arks if they want them.

The Invid seeing the sacrifice done in there defence, ask to join the alliance, they are accepted and the regent is made a member of military council of the alliance.

My Ideas for the ranking of psionic individuals is mixed at the moment, as I'm a fan of many authors and series the ones I have decided to choose from at the moment are:

Julian Mays ranks from the galactic milieu, eg master, adept, grand master.

Anne McCaffrey's series of books on the hiver tower series, eg, primes, P1-P? T1-T?.

Babylon5 series and books, with their basic P1-P12, with P13 being godlike.

Lensman series, you have eg, Lensman, citizens, exalted, grey Lensman, 1st stage to 3rd stage Lensman.

All Alliance citizens, whatever species or rank have the following,

· All have affinity links.

· They all have access to the most advanced eugenics programs.

· They have access to the genetic facilities, for manipulation, or augmentation or alteration, of themselves or their future offspring (sort of an advanced gatica).

· They have access but have to make bookings for the public available exo-wombs if they want children but don't want to actually carry it, or only want to carry it a short time.

· They all have access to the nano-tech, on the market if they can afford it, and its not illegal, or sanctioned only for military or intelligence forces.

They have access to the education facilities, which include;

· Hypno-mech facilities.

· Online VR computer linked classes.

· Mems.

· Brain laser engrams.

· Nano-tech education links (hardtech VR, done while asleep or awake).

· Affinity education links (Biotech VR, done while asleep or awake, they connect to a master Nexus node which contains the data to be taught, living teachers can also be connected as well as to make it more interesting)[i love P. F. Hamilton's Education set-up].

· And then actual classrooms, small numbered ratio students to teachers, with display screens, human or alien or computer teachers or lecturers. They may even be synthetic humans (hard tech robots or bio-replicants (androids)).

The Genetic technology and techniques of the alliance can design a new living species from scratch; they can alter the alliance citizens if they want at any stage:

You are superior to the average citizen, genetically and intellectually, have been made that way by the actions of the mentors or such, you are tested then put in places that will benefit the alliance, be it military or civilian positions.

Since they are not human they would have 3-4 as lowest and as high as 6-7 without any augmentation what so ever. Exalted would have 5 as their lowest stats allowed and would have a couple 6's or more

Benefits, you are given a unique device the "Lens" to help focus your mind for psionic tasks. Cannot be duplicated. You would be part of the alliance law enforcement/military system, and depending on the level, depends on the extras the Len's gives you and your responsibility to the alliance.

Avatar population of the 6 waves to large, think the total that came over should be around 600,000. There would have been in increase in their population numbers, but since they are technically immortal in their energy form, they wouldn't have the drive humans do, to reproduce.

Tacking into account, soul reproduction types, the reproductive drives, the population would have increased maybe by *3 to *6, in numbers. By the time of the mentor re-awakening their sleeping potentials.

The individual soul/energy species, would at the start only been able to breed with there own species, but once the mentors added to there enery matrix patern, they would then have been able to interbreed amongst all the six waves. The population would have increased after mentor interaction, so the populatoin would have been multiplied by facter *X.

since they are soul/energy type beings, they would increase numbers by creating new beings using the follow possible methods. 2 or more energy beings would partly twin/meld, since the combined potential of them now is greater then then added together seperatly, excess energy would be produced and given sentience by the melded mind of the grouped soul beings, minimum beings needed 2, maximum able to take part 6?.

was thinking just how long would it take to defeat the coalition forces on the ark, after taking away their propulsion, and external weapons and wehicles.

given that the progeniters would have there individual bases area's, and given that a large percentage of the ark is deserted and shut down with no one visiting sections in decades or longer.

the phyles, such as the drones and sasq's have their own habitation area's a large percentage of them would rebel, giving the progeniters less workers to rely on. The envoy's they would rebel if they had some individuality in them still, and there was something in it for them. The other phyles not really mentioned like the two that look after the herd animals for food, and the crops for food and for stock feed. would go along with any orders given by either party. The unkwon phyle that man the fighters and transports, some would rebel, some might go neutral, majority would be pro-progeniters.

The soldier phyles, would be a problem, but theres only so many, and if you cut of the life support systems to there habitation area, and seal the exits, you would have less to deal with.

So maybe 30 years to completly take the ark is to long, or not long enough?
