David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
"Inertia" would be a female name. What would be the male translation of that?
The White Rat
Inertial, Inertius, Inertio...It's difficult, because Inertia is neuter, and not feminine or masculine. The question is: Do you want him to have any balls?
Lou Anne Burgess
There's always "Couch Potato". It's very suggestive of Inertia.

David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
More fun with names:Crash? Impact? Collision? Collide? Force? Ram? Crush? Inertia? And doing a quick check of the Thesaurus (which is a great source of names BTW).Inertia becomes (inactivity, apathy, inaction, etc). Ram is perfect as a verb but as a noun it’s an male sheep.I think "Crash" will work for starters.

David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Comet, Regarding the Creaper.1) With 6 specialities he can't buy all his Quantum with bonus points, so (I think) that gives him 33 nova points.2) I count 20 points of merits for your bonus points, and either 6 or 8 points of flaws depending on whether you count Compulsion: Stealing as -2 or -4. I think you still have either 1 or 3 unspent points there.3) You only have 23 dots of Attributes, but you have 4's in Endurance and Resistance. I don't recall whether you can go above 3 with the "3 free" dots, it may just raise you to 3 but my book isn't here. (Oddly I've never had this issue come up before). The White Rat
It was my understanding that if you have a Mega-Stamina of 3 or higher, that you automatically get the extra dots for free(you did pay for the Mega-dots, so they are'nt really free).
David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
WR: True, but his Mega-Stamina is 1.CC: Looking it up (page 114, core book), although it isn't clear, it's implied you can't go above "3" at this stage of character generation. The placement of that rule implies your three free dots come first, i.e. your 4th dot counts at one of your 23.

This power extends to both animate and inanimate objects and certain forms of energy. The matter of Lapis’s body undergoes a material and physiological change so that his body becomes composed of the matter or energy with which he is making contact. While he is in this altered state, he still possesses his sentience despite the fact that his brain is now composed of the same material all the rest of him. Among the more ordinary materials he has transformed into include steel, stone, wood, and glass. More unusual have been transformations into water, fire, snow, and helium, silk, thermal and light. If approached and spoken too he quite kind and polite, but tends to mumble from time to time as his thoughts wander while he calculated formulae and performs mental lab work in his head.Personal Interests: Rock climbing, and work, work, work… ,,Birth Name: Tyler ColeAlias: Philosophi Lapis, or Lapis (roughly, Philosiphers Stone)Nature: AnalystEruption: Rock climbing incident.Allegiance: None.Physical: Strength ●●●, Dexterity ●●, Stamina ●●●Athletics ●●, Endurance ●●●, Might ●●, Resistance ●●● Social: Charisma ●●, Manipulation ●●, Appearance ●●Command ●, Etiquette ●, Style ●, Subterfuge ●Mental: Perception ●●●●, Intelligence ●●●●, Wits ●●Academics ●●●, Computer ●, Engineering ●●, Investigation ●●●, Linguistics ●●, Science ●●●, Survival ●Backgrounds: Backing ●, Followers ●, Influence ●, Node ●, Resources ●●●Mega-Attributes: Strength ●, Stamina ●, Intelligence ●Enhancements: Strength (Shockwave), Stamina (Regeneration), Intelligence (Eidetic Memory)Powers: Armor ●, Matter Chameleon ●Extras: Strengths: Armor (None), Matter Chameleon (Permanent)Weaknesses: Armor (None), Matter Chameleon (None)Willpower: ●●●Quantum: ●●●●●Quantum Pool: 30Taint: ●Aberrations: None

David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Long,If my addition is correct, Mech has 27 extra skills. Assuming you paid 5 nova points you're 3 under, if you paid 4 then you're 3 over. Similarly I think you have an extra attribute dot left to give out. You don't say what your dot in "Bodymorph Metal" is mimicing, if it's mimicing the claws then the character balances (rounding ability and attribute costs up), but you might as well get Claws+AP.Revenant,Looks like everything balances, good job. Even with "Permanent" the character looks balanced to me (presumably you still pay juice to switch MC to other elements)... but as I've said, I'm not a mod. I agree with you, obviously swtiching forms I would consider reactivation of the power, so that makes perfect sense. Also please note, he does not have attunement. Any time he uses this power it's safe to assume his clothes are shredded and I'm sure he has none at home that'll fit a stone/metal/fire/gas body. Heh.Basically yes, legally he can stay in a chosen form for as long as he likes, however I made sure it would be very impractical for him to do so. His job requires a certain manual dexterity that I can't see him capable of achieving in any form but his human one. That's not to say in the future he may not learn to attune clothing, but that's what role play is for. David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Wow. Just saw "Daniel Ravenshire", and I'm impressed. I take it that's something like 20 nova points spent on skills? I've always been a fan of the Q1, lots of skills concept, but this is pretty extreme. :Thumbs Up:
Ravenshire
I do like to explore just what it means to have people able to buy skills (and lots of them) with nova points during characer creation. I admit that I tend to go to extremes when doing things, though. I don't deny it.
