Aberrant d20 is a game of epic superpowers. This campaign setting is fully compatible with the d20 System, with source material on an Earth transformed by novas - plus new classes, feats and powers so that you can take on the role of one of these modern gods. Hardcover.</td></tr><tr><td>

I 'm not sure Modern existed when staff was working on this book. The authors suggest to add some Spycraft stuff.

In Trinity D20, anyway, there are references to Modern (about MECCA, especially).

I find this Aberrant D20 very good, but it's almost like another setting: novas are much too weak (due to the inner coherence of D&D, many powers were drastically reduced in range and effect).

If you really want a "mainstream" Aberrant setting with D20 you have to begin the campaign somewhere between lvl 10 and 15, and easily finish 30-40... anybody said "munchkin"?

I used to play Aberrant D20, but finally came back to D10. Moreover, there is not a single supplement for D20 system, when D10 is full of it. So why bother? :)))

Aberrant d20 is completley awaste of paper, and everything.

They made it so that some novas couldn't be built. I think I been over this before, but Divis Mal with his short list of powers was around level 100. I think if you tweeked him out ot the max you could get those power in the low sixties.

Aberrant d20, oh..

I owned Aberrant d20, I admit. I bought it when I first got into gaming years ago. I had played D&D a few times, and have talked about Aberrant with a few friends. I decided it was something I might be into, seeing as my favorite things are super powers, comic books, and spiderman.

I baught it thinking "Whoo! I own Aberrant! I rules!", until I realized that Aberrant d20 is not the real Aberrant. I was mocked for a few weeks, until it got buried under a bunch of clothes and eventually found its way to oblivion.

I'm happy to be rid of it.
