Overnight, the following graffiti message appears in subway and other mass transit system terminal ranging from geographically diverse locales as far flung as Addis Abba to Amsterdam, Perth to Tokyo, and San Francisco to Moscow:

[size:6]DOES ICARUS STILL DIE FOR YOU?

The defacement is frustrating to local officials as it glows jarringly in shimmering ruddy hues of neon, and worse, the chemicals appear to ionically bond with non-organic compounds enabling it to leech through the wall into the surrounding materials.

Attempts at removing or covering the graffiti are proving to be very difficult.
