Which is par for the course with us, but I’m leaving ’21 with better clarity and I think our titling should reflect that. We’re all off this week, and this blog will be reconfigured when you see it next week, so this is the last in this format as well as the last of the year. With our 10th Anniversary next week, there are going to be a bunch of changes, and we’re all looking forward to the future! So much so, that here are our New Years Resolutions as we look into 2022: Eddy Webb resolves that: “In 2022 my resolution is to try and get past the blahs of 2020 and 2021. A lot happened to knock projects off course, and those have all been understandable, but I need to find new ways to get all my projects back on track.” Lisa Thomas gives us this resolution: “Do a hard restart. Reorganize, restructure and rework my workspace, my work habits and look for ways to improve my workflow. “ Matthew Dawkins has some strong resolutions right here: “My New Year’s Resolution for 2022 is to seek out new and enthusiastic writers and developers to work with on our many projects, who can spread the fanfare of a game’s release to their teams and to whatever audiences they can reach.” Ian Watson’s resolutions are continuuming: “Now that a lot of the early Trinity Continuum material is out, and we’re starting to dig into settings new to this edition, my resolution is to start building out and exploring more of that new esoterica that fills the Continuum out in ways we’ve never seen before.” Dixie Cochran is all about resoluting: “Aside from getting everything running as smoothly as possible and back on track, I would like to work on running games more, rather than just playing and making them. It’s a skill I haven’t honed as well as I’d like, and I think it’ll be something else I can contribute to both Onyx Path and my personal friend groups.” Mike Chaney has some mirthful resolutions: “I guess mine are:– Continue to clear out the KS queue.– Bring on another “regular” layout freelancer (while getting Travis a bit more up to speed on following format).– Train Josh up on the prepress stuff for PoD so I don’t have to directly “put hands” on every project.– Train Maria up on the Kickstarter project prep… the process is pretty much set up now where it can be done in a few days.” And finally, my resolution: “Do more layout, get back to people faster, hunker down and read through manuscripts faster, and have more fun! That includes playing more games, as well as running an online game (at least one) of the Crossroads Continent setting.” We’ll see how well we all do with these resolutions, as we’ve had small successes over the years with keeping them – even when the world goes topsy-turvey!
