Season’s Greetings!

Hi, I’m Travis Legge, a developer working on Scarred Lands RPG supplements. 2019 has been an incredible year. Onyx Path partnered with DriveThruRPG.com and launched a community content program, the Slarecian Vault, where you can create your own Scarred Lands adventures, subclasses & more. There are now over 70 community content titles in the Vault and that number keeps growing. We also released new Spell Cards and a new sourcebook for sailing the Blood Sea! In partnership with Handiwork Games, we funded the next book: the Creature Collection. If you missed that Kickstarter, don’t fret, you can pre-order Creature Collection 5e on Backerkit.

I’m excited to look ahead. As our team prepares for the release of Yugman’s Guide to Ghelspad and Vigil Watch, we’ll be introducing several rules to playtest through Open Development. Check them out, use them at your tables, and let us know what you think. Here are the details!

  • Thirteen playtest packages in total
  • Each playtest is open for three weeks
  • Each playtest includes a survey for you to enter your feedback and rate your satisfaction with the content

Each playtest document will contain a link to a brief survey for feedback. Starting in January, I will post a new playtest each week, with each survey open for three weeks, on the Onyx Path blog. The final Open Development playtest in this schedule will be posted on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020.

To get you started early, I am overjoyed to present you with the first Scarred Lands playtest and survey! Follow the link to find rules for the Hollow Legionnaire Revisited and the Fighter Martial Archetype: Goreguard. Try them out at your table over the holidays!
