Dear Abbie,

I have a question. I have a fire-based power, but I always end up burning off my costume. Is there any way to make apparel that would be immune to my powers?

There several ways to do this. The most common and least expensive is to get training on how to attune your clothing. This quantum trick lets you use your powers without damaging your clothing. Most of the large nova organizations offer this kind of training, Project Utopia's various clinics offer it even to novas who aren't members.

Alternatively, original Eufiber is self attuning (don't ask me how it is made). It is expensive, rare, and I believe there is a wait list, but if you have it or can get some it works well.

Also alternatively, you might try going with fire resistant clothing. Depending on what part is burning off, a chainmail shirt and gloves might be enough. Your local fire department might have some suggestions if you go this route.
