Abbie
Dear Pregnant,The short answer is, "Yes, but..."This is not a well understood matter, but the best science on this subject says there is a strong genetic link to nova-dom. Presumably children of novas would have a much greater chance to become novas. However, it also appears that the majority of novas are sterile. There have been a number of reported nova births, but so far these fall more under the heading of urban legends than confirmed fact. I'm sorry but there is much theory and little knowledge on this subject.I'm sorry, but if the father of your child could be a nova or a baseline, the chances are it was the baseline. If you are a pregnant nova, then much of the world is very interested in your situation.
