This is the place to post character concepts, so that folks know what themes and ideas are in use. I will try and post a short description of the characters to this first post for easy reference in a spoiler so as not to clutter up the post too much.

Nate "Jedi" Chatham - Nate is Jedi themed.

Erupted on the day the Refugees came though, while he was at a comic con arguing with a fellow geek about Star Wars stuff. Killed the other kid by frying him with Sith Lightening, spent 5 years in prison for it. Just got out a year ago. Since then he's been working for the DSA alongside Karrie and Rob, although he doesn't compare to them in terms of intellect. In his off time he's building a spaceship.

Kevin/Taeli - DnD Elf Princess

Erupted after the completion of an epic, long-running D&D Campaign, turning into a Nova version of his Elven Bladesinger (fighter-sorceror). Unfortunately, his character was female and now, she is too. Even more unfortunately, his girlfriend at the time also erupted into a version of her character, who was male (as is she now, sort of). They have issues.

Vixen/Roxanne is a kitsune themed meta-quantum manipulator

Able to shut down powers as well as copy them and impart them. She erupted when trying to understand an unexplainable case of quantum phenomena: a two-tailed fox. She now understands the phenomena, but it's become a permanent imprint upon her quantum signature.

[CN - DSA] Kei Nakano
Callsign: Sea Eagle
Kei Nakano is the fastest flier known, is a test pilot, and can form angular armor that is reminiscent of a futuristic fighter craft/starfighter. She also can fire cohesive beams of energy from her hand. Kei erupted when trying to save her flight instructor when she was getting her pilot's licence.

"The Witch of Space and Time"
The young Rebecca is a controller of Time and Space, bending it to her will. She is also the pinnacle of human development, and is a capable, although somewhat slow flier. She erupted Halloween of last year while cosplaying as a student from Hogwarts, casting "Leviosa" on a friend. It was, strangely, also the time she erupted.

"The Traveler"
Daughter of "The Professor", Yomiko is a smart, although still unwise universe-hopper and the current captain of the Hikari Maru. She currently is residing in a universe where Novas are superheroes, although she also is hiding from a terrible mistake she made no more than a few months ago.

[iE] Momoka Sato - Under Construction

A pilot for the Japanese Navy, Momoka somehow ends up into a very interesting new adventure when while flying in a join excersise with the Royal Navy is zapped by the stonehenge gate. It cost her her plane, but it created one hell of an entrance for her.

[A&A] Samson "Lodestone" Stone

Brilliant scientist and German defector, Samson has the ability to transform into a living metal form of an previously undiscovered metallic element that has several unique quantum-aetheric and electromagnetic properties.

In it's normal state it interacts with the quantum aether to act as a self-exciting magneto-dynamo, capable of generating small amounts of power indefinitely, or as a capacitor capable of building up and releasing much larger charges. When this current is run through his metal body he turns into a living electromagnet, able to shoot arcs of lighting like a tesla coil, or use the principles of quantum paramagnetism to affect even non-ferous objects at range.

In addition to the above, Samson is able to alter the quantum structure of his metal body to greatly increase his own density. This molecular reconfiguration seems to align the element into a state of zero electrical resistance, becoming in effect a perfect high temperature (meaning slightly cool) superconductor. The magnetic fields he is able to generate increase exponentially allowing for relatively slow levitation/flight, powerful force fields, and the ability to exert truly prodigious strength by manipulating the magnetic fields around his body and extending them around other objects.

[CN] Karen "Coyote" Dineh

Karen's a mad scientist. She's taken the name Coyote because it makes white people nervous when super-powered non-whites take the name of a god. Annoying and abrasive, she somehow manages to have friends, probably because she can turn a vacuum cleaner into a WMD. Character focus: Mega-smarts and invention

[CN] Kitty Price

Not a member of the DSA or even a super-hero, Kitty is a star of the silver screen. She's also called the Most Beautiful Woman in the World despite having a cat's tail. Though she's insanely beautiful, she's also very kind. Currently single, she receives daily wedding proposals and offers for sex via various means. Character focus: Mega-appearance and acting

[CN] Sean "Chaos" McCline

At the tender age of fifteen, Sean committed multiple acts of manslaughter when he erupted in a hospital ER. The EMP blast he caused shut down vital machines in the ER, the ICU, and the NICU. His eruption was triggered by the death of his mother, a doctor shot by a patient. Sean has no other family and is a ward of the DSA now. Character focus: Entropy-control and teenage angst

[A&A] Constanta "Silvestru" Silivasi

There's anger issues and then there's Silvestru. This young Romanian ended up on the wrong side of the coup when the Fascists seized power in her country in 1940. With her family killed by the Fascists, she went hunting the man responsible for their deaths. Her failure to kill him caused her eruption into an archer extraordinaire. Now she turns Fascists and Nazis into pin cushions. Character focus: Archery and vengeance

[CN] Anastasia "Psyche" Anderson

One of the youngest members of the JSA, Anastasia has some growing up to do. She's a ball of hormones with super-smarts and mental powers. Powers she's some how hopelessly addicted to. Character focus: Mentalism and Mega-Mentals

[A&A] Colonel Ryan Hawke American Army Air Force Colonel in charge of the 3rd American Volunteer Air group, a Dynamic gifted with superhuman toughness and the ability to fly, he is roughly analogous to Captain America.
