Going to talk this out with the group. Some of you are asking for (not directly) for some extra pointage. Here is my proposal. If you need 10 points (that's all you're getting) take them. If you DON'T take them, you get Favor. Favor makes you best pals with one of the gods. It doesn't have to be your parent, but it can be. The favor will get you random perks from your chosen god. and their spheres of influence. The perks will be minor unaccountable stuff, but once per story, you can bump the GM for a substantial request. This may not be exactly as you word it (Hades may stop your comrade at the gates, but you'll have to come retrieve him or her. Ares will lend you a legendary weapon or armor from his stash, but Ares will be wanting it back! Athena will set the battlefield up where it's pretty damn favorable, but she's not going to fight the battle for you.)

What say you players?

Hyoseph/Praxis - Just a heads up, no one in the mortal or Immortal world has yet admitted to being Krysti's father. So unless Praxis' contacts have been keeping an eye on Heracles for some time, they probably don't know he's her father.

That said, even though she's trying to keep it on the down-low, it isn't hard to figure she must be of the divine herself, so I assume Praxis' contacts could easily have mentioned that to him.

Sorry for the nitpick, but Heracles himself is feeling some guilt/shame over this and he hasn't been open about it.

np - A lot of the knowing things comes from having the Well Informed advantage and a persuasion total of +20. The basic idea being Praxis has been keeping an eye on the Divine community for a long time (longer than most of the PC's have been alive) and people just tell him stuff. I'm more than ok with him not knowing that her father is Heracles though, since he ain't talking.

He knows there's "mysterious stranger" (which in a world of shapeshifting gods means jack) and that she's physically powerful, (which narrows it down some, but Heracles isn't the first on the list of possibilities)

Praxis - left it in your court if Praxis wants to introduce Krysti to the others or let her go. For the others at the table - specifically the famous ones and those with high social skills/Presence - Krysti evinces shows a normal curiousity and interest in meeting the famous she's read about in the tabloids, but she isn't precisely or easily impressed by them, or fawning over them. She has a stubborn and prideful streak (and Immunity: Interaction Skills [Limited: Half-effect]). :D

Pertinent information

It is currently Monday, January 7, 2013. Noon Eastern time.

No sunshine has been seen in seven days.

Where ever you are at that moment, you are approached by someone you KNOW is Hermes. You may have never met him in your life but you KNOW the messenger. He looks in place where ever you are. He does not say a word, he hands you a golden envelope and leaves without saying a word.

When you read what is in the envelope, there are no words on it. you disappear in a flash of light. All of you appear at The Rose Garden in Central Park, New York City.

When you arrive you are greeted with a lounge chair. eventually two rows of six are facing each other

one row is Praxis, Moira, Darrik, Puck, Krysti, Kalanea

the other row is Sly, Serenity, Henry, Maia, Coraline, Valentine

These are not in exact order, just what row of chairs you will be in.

Any other questions here

[Kamiko] 2:12 pm: Wow... DC 30 theology check?

[sandman XI] 2:12 pm: yup

[Kamiko] 2:12 pm: No chance in hell here.

[Kamiko] 2:13 pm: Although considering the characters in play and the PL caps, I doubt anyone could make that outside of a natural 20.

[sandman XI] 2:14 pm: its doable. YOU just need an 18 or better

[Kamiko] 2:15 pm: Oh right... if I had Expertise: Theology.

[sandman XI] 2:15 pm: Or Eidetic Memory

[Kamiko] 2:15 pm: Which my character doesn't have.

[Kamiko] 2:16 pm: Lemmie check my character on the Eidedic thing.

[Kamiko] 2:16 pm: I know I have that... at least I hope I took it.

[Kamiko] 2:16 pm: Yes, Eidedic memory and luck 2.

[Kamiko] 2:16 pm: So I got 3 shots.

[Kamiko] 2:17 pm: Thing is do I absolutely need to use my two luck uses for the adventure on this roll?

[Kamiko] 2:17 pm: Is this plot critical?

[Moira Morley] 2:18 pm: I'd at least give it one shot

[Moira Morley] 2:18 pm: can't hurt

[Kamiko] 2:18 pm: I'll use one of my lucks if I whiff then.

[Jeremy] 2:18 pm: Kami: It stems from a mistake or two Sand made

[Jeremy] 2:18 pm: about Greek cosmology

[Jeremy] 2:18 pm: I wouldn't recommend a luck

[Kamiko] 2:18 pm: Is that true, Sand?

[Jeremy] 2:19 pm: And he decided to run with it and make it plot-related...

[Jeremy] 2:19 pm: but don't really worry about the luck

[Jeremy] 2:19 pm: save it for later

Kamiko *rolls* 1d20: 3+12: 15

[Kamiko] 2:19 pm: Using a luck

Kamiko *rolls* 1d20: 5+12: 17

[Kamiko] 2:20 pm: ...

[Jeremy] 2:20 pm: well, you only had a 10% chance

[Jeremy] 2:20 pm: even with lucks or HPs

[Kamiko] 2:21 pm: Using a hero point

[Kamiko] 2:21 pm: wait no

[Kamiko] 2:21 pm: wouldn't work.

[Kamiko] 2:22 pm: Can I get a witness and a acknowledgement from Sand so I can post this? I can't C&P the roll, so I'll have to manually enter it in

[Kamiko] 2:22 pm: Hell with it burning my hero point too.

Kamiko *rolls* 1d20: 13+12: 25

[Kamiko] 2:23 pm: ...

[sandman XI] 2:26 pm: hero

[Kamiko] 2:26 pm: Why?

[sandman XI] 2:26 pm: You don't want it back?

[Kamiko] 2:27 pm: Umm...

[Kamiko] 2:27 pm: I got a 35 on the last roll?

[Kamiko] 2:27 pm: wait I'm confused now.

[sandman XI] 2:27 pm: you only get +10 if you roll 10 or below

[Kamiko] 2:27 pm: ah

[Kamiko] 2:28 pm: Well I'll take the hero point back then.

I refuse to accept having my character sandboxed to make people happy.

Actually... I'm willing to take a sanction that can be agreed on that won't ruin other people's fun. Seriously. What I've done to Sand any usual GM would have smited me on the spot.

If he's willing to have a grand compromise, I won't block.
