Well, if she had a pound for every time... she certainly would never need to pilot another jet again. For now though, the crisp wind of the North Sea brushes through her hair. The F-35Bs they were testing must have been the better apples off the tree that the Yankees sent over. She didn't mind flying them, although she wished she was on regular duty again, only flying the new Eurofighter Typhoons. "Damn 11th Squadron having all the fun!" She thought.She had her flight suit and cold-water gear on, she was getting close to the top of the list for doing SAR pilot duty for the test-pilots, and she did need to do her qualifying training again for the Sea King.Sooner or later that call would come up. But there was the distinct possibility for a drill to test the F-35B in a combat simulation too. Either way, her orders were simple. Get your gear ready, and wait... and wait. She sat on the tarmac near the hangar where her assigned F-35B sat, her helmet on a knee as she leaned against the hangar. She looked up at the blue sky, and just thought of the possibilities.
