GateKeeper
Hello all. It's been awhile since I posted on here but I wanted to explain why. It was no slight againt any of you. I was ordered to by my superior. The reasoning was due to the 'sensitive nature' of my job. Which was crap since I never told anyone anything about my missions. Which weren't even missions at all it was just someone telling me. "Gatekeeper open a gate here. Gatekeeper open here.." Blah blah. Anyway I got tired of it and when my reenlistment came up I suprised them by not signing. So here I am looking for some comission work. What that means is if you have a job that could use a bulk shipment warp gate creator I will do business with you. I am NOT however looking for fulltime work because really I need more time for myself.
GateKeeper
Well I have had some offers including some very strange ones. But basically Elite work seems to be the money makers and frankly sound like the most exciting. I hope to get started soon.

Doctor Nova Madigan
That was actually pretty funny, in a sincere kind of way.

Wakinyan
Elite doesn't mean bad. I mean I am sort of an elite now. I go and do a raindance here or shoo a monsoon there. I think that is very much the opposite of the notion you have of Elite Flicker.
Neil Preston
The Elite Culture facilitates violence as a means of resolving conflicts. That's just the way it is. I don't have a solution to it, or an alternative that pays as well.Killing for a good reason? I would rather we found good reasons to spare people's lives, or better yet, good reasons to save lives that might be otherwise lost.
Singularity
Killing is normally the result of successive failures. Hence, I can't blame Flicker for saying what she said. However, it sounds like Gatekeeper's abilities aren't necessarily geared towards mass killing. Ultimax
I thought of being an Elite, for about five seconds. But why risk yourself like that? I get all the glory and all the money just walking tall in the XWF.

Seems to me that it just isn't worth the risk, but I guess it's a way to pay the bills.
Sujatmi
I know Elites and XWF'ers make more money and have more excitement, but may I suggest Interpol? We can certainly use teleporters, and there is always the satisfaction of busting a crime syndicate or capturing a criminal without the bureaucracy of the Project or the uniforms of the Army. GateKeeper
I mainly don't want to be used as a machine to get from point A to point B. I am sick of being shielded from where I am going because I am so "valueable". If you think that Interpol could treat me as a agent rather than a machine I would consider it. Sujatmi
I do not expect anything less from my people than I do from myself, GateKeeper. You will be coordinating warps and teleports all over Southeast Asia, being in the line of fire for nova extractions and providing back-up for other operatives.I do not keep my people from the field unless they are blatantly unsuited.
