[OpNet] Wakinyan was found not-guilty.

The trial did not diminish the tragedy of what happened it did acknowledge that I wasn't the only to blame for all that happened.

I think the sky was as happy to see me as I was to see the sky again. Chicago has a sunny January day in the mid 60s as my thanks.

It feels good to be on my way home.

Waki, please. Don't disrupt the natural order of things just because of emotion.

I'm glad you're cleared of criminal charges, but I'm still concerned over your civil issues.

Where are you right now? I've been sort of negligent in trying o find you and give you a pep talk before hand.

What is suprising, is you beat my calculations on this matter. You really are an X Variable, Waki.

I think I can head off in a day or two to do that. The code cracking I've been doing to make an actually useable OS for the WCK computers has been easier than I calculated. Then again, I always forecast much later than I can do. So I can take m time doing it right.

In any case, just let me know and I can roll out.

Not much I can do after the OS swap-out because I'm still fabricating some stuff for the gang here. So, I figure, see the black hills, and a cold starlit night before heading back to Tokyo for R&R and to take some time to check my domestic contracts and see how they're making out.

Not guilty. Hmm.. I wonder what the.. probability.. of that was?

I didn't follow this closely so I might be off, but wasn't it the case that:
A) He had an extremely good lawyer.
B) Didn't the DA take a risk in the charges he pressed? Didn't he NOT present lesser charges so the jury would convict on greater? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Yes, Mr. Bailey is an exceptional lawyer (he was most helpful to me when I had a problem, even if I decided not to pursue the lawsuit). And yes, the DA overextended himself.

I'm just happy to see him go free! laugh
