Boy Scout
I've just begun an adventure series focusing on the exploits of a DeVries elite. The Elites sourcebook has some useful ideas, but I was wondering if any other Storytellers would mind sharing some of their ideas for stories. The nova is more or less a combat elite, but I could probably weave all sorts of crazy jobs in, like investigations, black ops, protection, etc.
Kirby1024
One funky idea (ie, one that the players will hate you for), is the against both sides story. Effectively, the PCs are split into two, and given to opposite sides of the same encounter...After that, you have whole other stories just waiting to be told. Why would De Vries play both sides of the game? Why were their characters in particular chosen? If it wasn't De Vries fault, then who's fault was it?It can lead to a lot of good storylines, if you get stuck...
Boy Scout
Yeah, cool idea. I'll definitely look into it.
Jager
In a one-shot style, have the PC's make a plan for taking a site. Then let them run the security guards (baselines) inside the complex, responding to the threat. Give them a feel for how it feels to be on the other side of the Q-bolt.
