Greetings.

Having been informed that I was a latent several years ago I began focusing myself. Preparing, some might call it training or trying to attained the enlightened state of Novahood. Whatever you call it after three years of careful growth my node blossomed two days ago.

It was like waking from a dream to find your reality to be more than the dream could ever be. I do not need to look for help, my abilities are within my control. I see it much like a sapling who has began it's climb to become a mighty tree.

Though I now might belong in the same category of the Salamander I do not seem to share her scorn for those who erupted through accidental means.

With that said I look forward to speaking to all of you in the coming days and weeks. I have not yet even begun to scratch the surface of this higher human state but I am greatly looking forward to it.

Also, if any of you are in the Pacific Northwest please feel free to message me. Perhaps we can discuss face to face. That would be very pleasant.

Well, I tell ya, Schnook. It seems that I've been holding myself back. I've been taking a lot of classes, a metric fuckton of them, trying to graduate early. It's working out fairly good. I'm also looking into the entertainment industry. I'm meeting with some people who know people. That kinda thing. I've had a lot on my plate in the last year.

As one of the board's resident cynics when it comes to these things, I will answer your question.

Why would be for a number of things - attention, to prove a point, to insist that others question beliefs thought solid, to stir the pot, or simply to mess with preconceptions by adding what seems to be a legitimate perspective into the mix that has no valid way of being disproven.

As to why would your credibility be questioned?

1) Nova children are rare.

2) Nova children born of nova parent AND a latent parent extremely rare. The fact that is pointed out to us in your first post is a indication that you want your point to be taken seriously from the get go, and you want to establish credibility.

3) Active Farahcyte tissue from birth almost unheardof.

4) You're either exceptionally young, which makes your grasp of grammer and net-etiquette astounding for your age, or you've managed to remain remarkably hidden for someone who has had active quantum from their infant days.

Either way, there are lot of factors that seem suspect.

I am not saying that you are lying, btw. I am merely attempting to give you an example of why you may be met with suspicion.

1)I am the only person born a nova that I am aware of for now.
2)That was not my first post, but close enough. The issue had been brought up on the nature of an eruption (self-induced vs. accidentally induced) and I am bringing up the point that I fall into neither catagory.
3) If nova children are rare, this would seem to be a mute point at this time. How would anyone know if this phenomena is going to be highly unusual when I am the only one to stand up so far?
I am curious if I am the first, or even the only one.
4) Then my parents did a credible job of keeping my existance as a nova hidden it would appear. I have always remembered a sense of caution when dealing with the outside world. I now feel that I have developed enough to open up and talk a bit about it.

Out of curiosity, your profile lists your date of birth as March 23rd, 1998. An N-Day birthday makes it even more suspicious, btw, as for your claims to be true, you'd have needed to be born after your father's eruption. Even then, unless your father erupted previous to N-Day, you would technically be the child of two latents.

It would also make you seventeen years old, which, given the media frenzy since N-Day, makes it remarkable that the nova child of a nova parent did not make news anywhere since that time.

My father is a pre-N-Day Nova. That is, he erupted before N-Day, or say he has told me. I believe him.

If you do not believe in pre-N-Day novas, I believe we are at an impasse.

An interesting statement as birth by nova parents is also exceedingly rare. When did you get a chance to study the children, and is that information on the Opnet anywhere?

My birthday is what it is. I was a pre-mature birth, by the way. The official records that I have been using in the past were altered to protect me. You would have to talk to my parents as to why.

This is my first experience with the media, or with novas at large, thus my reference to me being a "new" nova in my first post.
