What do you get for two novas about to join after taking the sacrament of marriage? A tea set just seem stupid. Objects of art? I have no idea if they have any use for one except as a paper weight.

What were the rest of you thinking of getting them? I'm not going to steal anyone else's ideas but I'm hoping that it might point me in a direction. Any direction.

I'm just going to get them some of the damned strongest alcohol I can find. I mean from what I understand Long is pretty well off, so anything that is going to stick around, he probably doesn't need unless he already has it.

So some damned strong Sake is what I'm getting. That is if they'll sell it to me.

What about an object of art that is personal. It would mean commissioning one, but I have heard that Nova artists can turn out work pretty quick.

For Timeslip... I'm designing a Kimono right now. It's actually an easier effort than I originally realized. I'm successfully weaving a starfield-like pattern into the hinopolymer cloth I'm using. It'll look just divine.

For Long, I'm crafting something very special. I can't give it to him in public, but when he sees them... He'll feel like a true Samurai. Although I will give him the traditional armor... well, my take on it, in public. It looks suitibly not of samurai design to not be an insult to some of the old-school types still walking around even today. Perhaps I should say the armor is inspired by Samurai designs.

As for outside of the wedding itself, I have some extra gifts for them. Since they were my crew when I rescued Conduit.
