Wakinyan
If the war starts tomorrow the numbers are roughly half a million to one. That's according to the UN census info I just looked up. Wow are we gonna be busy. Maybe if we can put it off for a few more years it will be an even one million to one.

Preston
Lemmy, you should learn to get Slattern's permission before posting from here on out. Your absolute ignorance is showing.Totem, we could compare notes about the visions we share and perhaps find a level on which we could work together. Lemmy Chillmeister
And you not being able to tell when someone is kidding is kinda scary considering you got a gun.
Sakurako Hino
*looks for the sarcasm tag interface button, but fails.*Umm... it is sorta hard to convey sarcasm through text. Perhaps having a conversation over a vioce-link would provide a better medium.

Edward
People seem so hostile lately? Is this because of that silly conflict in Ibiza?I'm so very sorry.I wasn't there, and I don't watch much TV. Was it really that bad?
Dr. Zero
It was mass murder, only far far worse... it was incidental mass murder
Edward
But from the sounds of Totem's comments isn't that something we should be shooting for? A way to even the odds a little. And where has Mr. Totem gone too? He's been awfully quiet as of late?
Sakurako Hino
No help here, Cull. I think I saw him... but what we encountered... sorta wasn't.There are alot of questions I have, but no answers on the subject. Needless to say, I am now truely afraid of him. I do not wish to be anywhere near him.
Slattern
Don't be such a pansy Sakurako. How about you explain to all of us how the big teddy bear got so really scary?

Jager
Well, the whole concept of someone considering Totem a big teddy bear is scary in itself. There is a deep and powerful sentience in there, not an easily quantifiable aesthetic.Cull, remember that we spring from Human stock. Kill off enough humans and you will get an eruptee whose biggest source of rage and pain is you, and perhaps novas in general.Unless you can tell unerupted novas from baselines, what you end up doing is splitting novas as a race while uniting baselines against us. Edward
Well, I would never suggest killing off the entirety of human stock, but aren't we at a dangerous crossroads right now? We, as novas, possess a great deal of power, we are not unified and baseline humanity feels still somewhat safe in pushing us around. They do this because we are still few in number, our presentations of power have been relatively limited and in their mass numbers they still hold most of the power on this planet. Item one is changing every day. Item two, well as was seen at Ibiza that is readily remedied. And item three could become in doubt once item two is no longer valid. So, might it not be in our best interests to move over that 'hump' per say? Eliminate the fearful wondering if baseline humanity is no longer the power player and simply validate it?Just a thought. Just thinking aloud.
Dr. Zero
Ibiza did not remedy anything. You dont blame a fire for being destructive, you blame the psycho who lit the match. The resonsiblity of the backlash against our kind that will, inevitably, follow... lies on the shoulders of those pieces of trash who took their ID to the streets and destroyed Ibiza. David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
We, as novas, possess a great deal of power, we are not unified and baseline humanity feels still somewhat safe in pushing us around. For an "oppressed" minority we seem well paid and influential. Here is a better question, regarding the backlash, “Do we deserve it?” One would think part of being “super evolved” is the ability to control ourselves. Preston
Indeed.Do we deserve it (baseline backlash)? No. We are not a people yet, so we should be treated as the individuals we are.

Jager
Yep. Better yet, for every viewpoint any one of us has, there is bound to be another nova with a diametrically opposed viewpoint. Ain't that grand?
