His style is lush, gorgeous, compelling, at the expense of the story in the case of The Cell. He has directed a movie about Theseus. Starring the soon to be Superman. Immortals looks ... it's hard to tell from the trailer. I see some of his visual sensibilities. I also see ramping. And I think 300 combined with Clash of the Titans with a metallic version of Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko.
