Okay, been awhile since we got down and naughty.

What was the most outrageous, mind-blowing, soul-thrilling, node-exhausting fuck-o-rama you've had since you popped your quantum cherry? We all should have some good stories people, cuz when we smash pink parts we really can make the earth move and the stars dance.

This New Year's party I attended in Amsterdam a few years back stands out in my memory. I'd recently gotten back from my prolonged space jaunt and got dragged there by this baseline associate of mine because he'd heard there would be other Novas there. Turns out there were four of them (three females and one who was whatever they wanted to be if you must know) and they were very, very friendly. In fact everyone got on so well that we all retired to a seperate room.

It was definitely something you don't see every day.

After a few hours I decided I needed a bit of a rest and possibly a cup of tea but after about 30 seconds I ended up diving straight back in. Lee, now you're simply being silly. First of all, of course my little blue tramp thought you were talking about a baseline, you didn't drop the name. He's a little thick sometimes and you have to slap in the face with what you're talking about.

As for being with a baseline "opening you up to more possibilities" that is by far the most innocent and adorable thing I've ever heard. I spent the first few years after my eruption as a courtesan. I had more sex with more baselines and in more ways than I can readily remember. And within the first week of devoting my carnal energies to Novas I had already blown those previous experiences away.

You missed the point Slattern. I have no doubt that your Nova relations are better then the baseline relations you have had. Same goes for Lemmy, same goes for me. What I am saying is, what if there is that one baseline, that one night, that can completely blow you away? Well, you two will never know because you have a closed mind. And you aren't living up to your potential. If you are as into sexual experience as you say you are, then why wouldn't you include baseline in it?

That's a serious question by the way. I like dialogs.

Please read my post again sweetness, I spent a few years dedicating myself to baseline sex. I was paid for it, handsomely, but unlike most professionals I enjoyed it immensely. And yes, baselines can and often are excellent partners in that friendliest of combats.

But, they do have their limitations and I have found them. I also never said that I no longer dalley with baselines, I still do now and then, for fun. And it is based on that, and more than a decade of devoting myself to sexual and intimate exploration that I feel have some level of knowledge about the subject. For every "possibility" that a baseline can offer, a Nova can offer the same, and more. The only difference comes down to individual personalities and emotional attachement. If you're in love it will always be a bit *more* with that one particular individual. But that comes from you, and not your partner. As for individual personalities, well, I've spoken to some Novas who will swear that dolphins, chimps and some others have as deep and rich a personality as any baseline, so, would you include them within the equation for excellent fuck partners?

I have several responses, but they don't really flow into nice neat paragraphs, so I'll just list them. Once I get those out of the way, then I will

1-I'm not talking about love. I'm very much talking about sex.

2-My comments go beyond individual personalities. I'm saying that what if there was a baseline out there that was as sexually dynamic as a Nova.

3-Do you really think that you have experienced all that baselines have to offer? Do you really think that you have actually experienced their limitations? To pull from one of your other posts, "I mean seriously, when are we going to stop showing off our ignorance and baseline mentality by throwing around words like can't and impossible?" Yet you know for a fact that baselines have their limitations.

4-If I meet a dolphin that interests me, then maybe I'll experience that. I doubt I would, but I'll figure it out when the time comes. I'm not saying it's bad to say that you can only truly experience with a Nova. If baselines aren't your thing or they just don't live up to your standards, that's fine. I was just responding to Lemmy when he said that his question was about "quantum cherry popping". I defend my encounter because to me, it was. I've had several with baselines.

So in summary. I'm glad you include baselines in your list. Just as long as you do it for yourself and not for others. I include baselines for my own reasons, for myself and not for others. I'm not going to exclude them because someone thinks that she has experienced all there is in baseline sexuality. You haven't. One day you may, but not yet.

Ultimately, I think we disagree on baseline potential. It happens. I'm highly opinionated when it comes to it. Maybe we could discuss it in person sometime. I'd love to discuss it with anybody really. Get some good old barroom debate.

Lee/Slattern I'm not critisising either of you here but my never very humble opinion is... I'd wire myself like a dolphin and have sex with another Nova that had shapeshifted his/her self into a dolphin. I wouldn't shag an actual dolphin though, that's just wrong in my book. I used to have sex with Baselines but that was when I considered Novas as humans with cool powers. The idea of having sex with Baselines feels just as wrong now as the idea of having sex with animals.
