Vox Via
Me, I just want to know how many people wear the “nova suits”, how many wear nothing at all, and who wear something else.I wear something else. Mainly pants, and shirts, nothing fancy. In fact I tend to go with solid colors and avoid anything that show a brand or corporate logos. If there is something on my shirt, it is there because of it artistic merit.
Lemmy Chillmeister
Well shit, how can you walk studly unless you're swinging it with high price, oh so nice, high class, shaved off the man's ass Eufibre?Always wear me some. Usually as jeans, sometimes as leather pants. I can make that shit shift and shape like a motherfucker.I hoof it barefoot a lot, as it don't matter none. But if I'm high on the town I slap on some nice boots, hand made shit by this dude who erupted coupla years back. I couldn't pronounce his name to save my life but he lives in Florence, Italy. Dude makes the best shit I have ever seen, worn or even heard about. Worth every fucking penny. Actually, he makes whole buncha leather stuff, but if you can resist buying these shoes you don't deserve the node in your head.
Xeno
When environmental partitioning is required, abandoned oil drums are readily available, adequately spacious, easily modifiable, environmentally responsible, potentially inconspicuous and, some assert with questionable authority, appealing to the 'grunge' aesthetic. Ghostwriter
Whatever the hell I want to. Eufiber is useful, but nothing beats the feel of silk or leather against the skin.Of course, I run around naked on the island.
Dreamer
I really don't wear anything. I sometimes bring a knack sack around with me. I do dress when I have to, but that is some what rare.
Edward
I spend some time naked. When I look like something else. But when I look like me I just wear whatever is available.I look nice in blue.
Gerald Haney
Well, it took a BIG hunk out of my first couple of years pay but I did eventually get myself a full suit of the very special stuff. Eufiber. There is no substitute.I've even got pretty good at changing it a little. Not much, mostly cut and color, but enough so that it replaces a big hunk of my wardrobe.
Magus
My preference is to dress appropriately to the occasion. Eufiber is useful and I do possess some but I have a mundane wardrobe as well. Its a small thing but my favorite shirts are still my favorite shirts. Eufiber isn't the same.

Amped
I have some of the stuff as well. I'm not really sure how I got it though, it's just one of those things, and mine likes to stay torn and it really takes some effort out of me to make it look otherwise, I really jut let it do it's thing.,,Quote:Originally posted by Regan 'Saimhe' McLachlan: Of course, I run around naked on the island. *Has a conniption trying to imagine this*

Lemmy Chillmeister
C'mon man. Totally petty. This kinda shit happens. It's not like it's a comment on you or anything. Just unclench a little and go with the flow.

Professionally is an entirely different story.Oh and my eufiber boxers may one day gain the ability to speak. :pshudder:
DigiGeist
Hah, all this technology and we still have problems with thread cloning. Not that I see it is an issue, but it does confuse the newbies when they see 17 different threads on the same subject. It's not an issue about nit-picking, it's an issue of convenience.
Jager
The subjects are very similar, yes, but not the same. Totem's initial post appears to be a question of wether or not we should wear clothes, and the reasons behind it.Vanguard's seems to be more of a fashion poll of who wears what.Could the two threads been rolled easily into one? Sure, and with alot less thread-twisting/hijacking than usually goes on around here.I would also point out the kinds of responses have been different as well. kestrel404
I wish I could wear eufiber. But when I tried it (back when I worked for Utopia), something in my bloodstream killed the colony. So I wear my new armor/jumpsuit that I designed for the team, and a labcoat where I stash usefull knicknacks. DigiGeist
Heh. I'm glad I got my Eufiber. Although the WCK jumpsuits are rather nice. But, being someone with no fashion sense, I'll wear anything. I mean, rememeber yesterday, Alchemist? 20 degree weather, and I'm wearing my hawaiian shirt and bermuda shorts, walking barefoot in a foot of snow. That's me. I love doing that. But, I usually wear things a little less gaudy.
Neil Preston
Leather jacket, pull-over with hood, T-shirt, jeans, rugged boots, hiking backpack. I guess I am the anti-fashion statement.
Apep
At this moment, I wear only my scales. But if I am to wear clothes, I am comfortable in dark silks and very fond of gold. Shoes are a nuisance.

Timeslip
As I noted in the previous discussion on this topic, clothing is something of a moot point with me; whether I set eufiber to mimic my normal starfield effect or simply forego clothing altogether, there's simply nothing to see...and short of a full burqa, nothing is going to conceal the effect in a convincing fashion. Jager
Oh, come on Cull. Men and women walked around without clothes for thousands of years without there being a population explosion.Perhaps they wear as little as possible for their own personal reasons.Perhaps its a global female nova conspiracy to attack the fashion industry.Maybe you could do some undercover investigating, Cull. Amped
Clothes are completely overrated anyway. They were originally used for a form of protection from the environment, why should we n bother anymore anyway.Though I think some might object to a 15 year old walking around naked.
