[OpNet] High pitched whine.

Since I got home last week I keep hearing a high pitch whine in my room. It's well outside the human spectrum. I've tracked it down to a tiny thing that looks like a smashed piece of clear gum stuck on the doorframe inside my room.

I can only assume it is a bug of some sort? Did someone bug my room when I was away? What do they want? Who would do it? Should I destroy it? (I haven't yet) Can one of you brains take a look at it?

Totem why do you post these things here? I don't post about the explosives I find strapped to my car (which was months ago) because I don't know who the hell is reading this little forum...I find bugs occasionally myself. Do you remember if it was dark brown or grey? Just because someone had you bugged doesn't necessarily mean there's a conspiracy out to get you. I mean, you are a celebrity, after all. Hell, even the self-destruct function is kind of standard with your high-end surveillance-type stuff.

If you're not signed up to the Screamer Cleaner service, I think you might want to try it. A couple novas come by, take a look around and tell me who's going through my trash and to date have found about 15 "listening" devices in or around my property. Oh an in case you're wondering they are a subdivision of Devry but they're the top end people for the job. Hell they even advertise in the brochure they (for some insane fee) can "Chronologically Percieve" the event and let you know all sorts of things that are useful but technically impossible to find out otherwise. (Timeslip's Day job?)

The pains of having a public address, what's your excuse?

Billy, the thing may be that someone is bugging his Grandfather's house, not his. Nor is he a celebrity by choice. His rights to privacy are a bit strongers than someone who stands in the spotlight of the world's eye.

DeVries has a nice Sanitation Service too, and it does more things than what most people would expect.

Why did I say something? Well generally I don't really mind sharing things for better or worse. Plus a good portion of the nodelings on here have at least a decade or more experience under their belts and can give me good advice on this shit.

I tried to look at the moment when the bug was placed on the doorframe but my power to do so isn't reliable and all I saw was a tree growing in the pacific northwest.
