Anyone ken any cheap, decent accommodation there? Thanks for yuir help.
Tarot
Cheap and decent are mutually exclusive terms in Ibiza. At least when you're a tourist. Got to have the green if you want to make the scene. Luckily I'm not a tourist and have some friends of a friend. Find me when you get to Ibiza. Its a done deal.
Great Monster C
Rose, I do suggest you take up Tarot's offer. I'm a very well compensated lobbyist and I find the prices in Ibiza frightful. From what I've heard of him he's a good boy.
Jager
Rose, I will send you a round trip ticket and a (US)$10,000 credit line (which won't last you a day, trust me). Consider it a contribution to the New Novas Self-Education Fund.

billy Horrorshow
On a side note, if Ibiza strikes you as a bit too "inhuman" a party town there are a fuckton(technical term of measurement when dealing with fun) of other places to go that aren't that expensive or crazy-loco. I'd recommend a few places on the West coast if you have the chance, but I just wanted to point out Ibiza isn't the best place to have fun as a Nova, only the most famous and most expensive. That said, I still go there...I just don't go there to relax. Then again, I never got the Nova-centric friendship bug, so most of my hang-outs have a healthy smattering of people missing the magic meatball in their brains (node-less for those of you playing at home). Jager
A few points in Ibizia's favor:- A nova's-only club can be a very eye-opening experience into the possibilities of nova-existance.- Allot of novas go there, so you can meet and talk to novas from all over the world, in all walks of life.- If a little ego-stroking is what you are looking for, nova-worship is definitely served up on a platter.- Ibizia is still a nice island, once you get away from the over-comercialized areas.- Its a good place to pick up invites to other nova hangouts and hotspots; places that don't advertise and are out of the public spotlight. Edward
Hmmmm. Mabye I should go to this Ibiza. I like a good time. I have money too. Walker
Rose In the tourist areas they mainly cater for lager-lout/pill-heads, but if you wander out to the rural areas some of the little villages offer cheap and decent accomodation. It's quiet and peaceful plus it's only a short taxi ride to the night life. That way you won't have to mix too much with low-lifes Cull Be careful not to wipe out too many of them Baselines, the Ibiza Wall Lizard depends on them. billy Horrorshow
Cull's posts are great. They range from "Me LIKES TAH EAT dah BABIES (because I have to)" to deep "philosophical" debate to low brow thuggery.Awesome. He's my favorite poster since Blue Cherry discovered the Spell Check button.:sigh:Those were the days.Thank you Cull, for teaching me to laugh, and love, again. Walker
Let's face it Billy, Cull and Deathsquad are the Novas everyone loves to hate. The world would be a less interesting if safer and saner place without them.Personally I find Cull the more agreeable of the two, his methods may be not be to my personal taste and I find his over-population logic slightly suspect but I believe his heart to be in the right place. Deathsquad, I suspect, has been living in the land of the lollipops for some time now. Unless they're Terats in which case it's all alright, just being sickeningly inventive in growing beyond Baseline norms, that's all.
Vox Via
I often find myself wondering why anyone could hate them. I do not hate them. I do pity them. Then again I believe that you can only really hate those who remind you of yourself.

DeathSquad
Teras? To restrictive. But I am following what my Quantum gives me the freedom to do. I am a new path all together. Oh on a side note. Russian soldiers die well. Their tongues still taste of vodka. I should open up their stomachs and enjoy some for myself.

Sickeningly beyond normal PERIOD.I don't see anywhere where I have to accept their "personal exploration". I don't like it, and I think it's purely self destructive and wrong.I think my path lies on one of the concience and the higher path. Where one respects life and will defend a higher purpose. If it takes some baselines along on the elevator of becoming one with a proper path, then good for them. They're with the winning team. Quite frankly though, I cannot see how they get enlightenment.Self gratification, and a sick sense of pride, yes. I definately NOT condone them, nor do I stomach them. Especially DS. After all, he does have a marker on me.You see, this is the problem with Teras. Most of their membership don't speak up when someone does exactly this. DS in particular may have killed or will kill Novas in his pursuit of "enlightenment". It saddens me that most Terats have ignored such a problem untill it will eventualy darken their doorstep.Wake up! You're empowering an engine of destruction here. billy Horrorshow
Then again, DeathSquid's posts are getting cuter and cuter.I mean, hell, you could paraphrase 90% of them by deleting them and just writing"KILL KILL KILL, blood makes the Grass Grow!" a couple of times instead. Allright now little Miss Pissy In Pink, let's get something crystal-motherfucking-clear here alright? DS AIN'T a Terat. He's done said so loud and clear for all to hear. He's just your garden variety fuckjob out doing what he's doing. Just because some guy is out beating nuns to death with his dick don't mean his ass is down with the Teras. After, we've got style. You want to step up? Fine, I dare you, I double doggystyle dare your trifling little narrow ass to actually talk some shit about the resident MILF (but read dat as Monster not Mom) who's got the Leviathan lovebite mark of approval why don't you? Why don't you start throwing the verbal bombs at that scaly sweetie and see how far that shit flies. As for Cull, fuck him. Walker
Cull/Deathsquad Truly I did suspect that you were not Terats but as nearly all Terats have interests besides transcendence it was a possibility.Endeavor The outer Baseline part of my mind agrees with you, it's insane. The burgeoning sorcerer-god within would like to remind you that BASELINE STANDARDS NO LONGER APPLY. Doesn't matter though, you make up your own mind, it's not my job to be going around illuminating the path and all that.

Jager
Epoch is a good example, Endeavor. His "path of Enlightenment" involves testing other novas (and thus himself) to see if they are fit, or not, to be members of the One Race. There is no make-up test. Just ask Vile Bill.Walker, you are fooling yourself if you think baseline standards no longer apply ... at least for now. Seems to me you are still cohabitating the planet with them. When you transcend that benchmark, I think you will know it. I hope so, anyway. And, when it happens, give me a call and let me know what it's like. Tarot
Has Epoch ever killed anyone that wasn't on the field of batte in opposition? Not trying to nitpick you on your examples but wondering it didn't do a drive-by and speed out of sight before the finer details were applied. No, not defending elites in general or Epoch in particular. I just don't remember seeing reports of death duels with random novas.
Walker
Endeavor, No issues with you, you're a friend, like I said doesn't matter to me what you think about 'my wild ideas' and it's not my job to be going around showing the way and all that sort of thing. Also I don't think that I'm 'empowering an engine of destruction' as doubtless Deathsquad, Cull and anyone else who would fit into your/the category of sick have all the piss and thunder they need anyway. Notice the way both of them almost instantly said, piss off, no way are we Terats.Jager, I will conceed however that Novas, being of Baseline descent, inherit a lot of the same mental structures as Baselines, if you look at the genes even scientists have a hard time telling Nova from Baseline. Like-wise virtually all Novas were once Baseline not so long ago so it's not surprising that most of us believe in our old Baseline standards. I will even conceed that as I am just beginning to explore my path of enlightenment I am largely still Baseline in terms of thought.A few things I would like to point out though, being Nova my mental state can and does change and deviate from the Baseline over time, and it's not so long a time as you may think. Also I co-habit the planet with sharks, lions, elms and ants, though co-habit may be a strange way of putting it since I need no food, or drink, or air and I have done and do spend large amounts of time not on this planet. I would finally like to point out that Earth is simply A planet, not HUMANITY'S planet, it doesn't belong to them and it isn't for them to make up all the rules. Rose, You're probably wondering how a simple request for accomodation details turned into this bizarre conversation. Don't worry, happens all the time round here
