Rose 'Moonshadow' O'Meara
Rose is me real name. I havenae taken a nova name yet - what would I be callin' meself? Ghost or Spirit or somethin'?Too cliched an' more than a bit daft. I was born Rose, an' there's naethin' wrong with stayin' it.What I am curious about is discoverin' places for novas tae meet. Nae one of those Ibiza nightclubs - me family would die of shock - but somewhere a wee bit more appropriate for a grandmother tae gae tae.Thank ye for the greetin's. Edward
What does "tae gae tae" mean? It is nice to meet you Rose. What is it you do? Not your nova powers, that is inconsequential when compared to what you do with them.
Conduit
Well it's a bit belated, but welcome. As others have said, if you need anything give a call.

Rose 'Moonshadow' O'Meara
I've heard of ye, Lemmy Chillmeister, an' that racket ye call music. Ye might be pleased tae ken that me youngest boy Todd likes yuir music. As for what I dae, I become intangible an' can sense danger tae meself an' those close tae me. Erupted durin' a car accident.Plenty of Irish-blood here though. Minds me of the old sayin': "God invented whisky tae stop the Irish rulin' the world" or somethin' like that.I'm nae yuir typical Irishwoman though. Me ma was Hindu an' it stuck on me. Nice tae meet ye though.

Man, this coming from a lady who's forebears thought the bagpipes was the height of muscial achievment."Hey Flannigan, I've me a mind to create some loverly music.""And what would that music sound like Patrick me boy?""Like a drunken cat being raped by a porcupine is what I have in me heart."Meh, at least your boy knows the good shit when it there. Ramone Gemeos
Rose: I would suggest the Blackburn in New York, if you want something more sedate. Or New Ground in Tokyo, if you're looking for stimulating conversation and art. From there, you'll find many places that are exclusive to novas, but those are the most commonly known outside of Ibiza.Lemmy: Just so you know, the bagpipe was originally designed as a weapon, used to create an erie wail in the mists. Otherwise, you're completely right.

I agree that you will definitely find some interesting conversations there, just don't bring any other members of your family. So, whose been on your doorstep trying to recruit you so far? Tarot
Hey Rose. How you doing? Not much in the way of recommendations on meeting places though. I live in Ibiza. Its not all what you see N!tertainment Tonight but its a spicy life even on the quiet days. Try Addis Abba. Too structured for my tastes but you might like it. Sakurako Hino
You'd be surprised. There's roughly 20 different companies that produce voice recognition devices. Last I checked before resigning, TKI had at least 2 on the drawing board and one in production.I think her including her accent in the system is a refreshing change. Gives the place a more global feel. Of course, I speak english either in a British or American accent, so it shows here. Computers can't make accents though for the different ways of speaking Japanese. Then again, I still haven't seen a computer translate Japanese to English without making me laugh. billy Horrorshow
Like I said, random Opnet Technology scares me. I understand it, but I'm worried as hell that if I started getting into it, I'm going to keep buying and buying and suddenly I'm slapping on a vr-brainwave suit so that I can digitally order my pizza while simultaneously posting in my Live JourN!al and having my food teleported directly into my stomach at a gig a second. If I get into something, I usually dive in pretty deep. It's kind of a problem. There's also a weird pressure to be ultra-modern these days as a Nova that I don't quite get. Cellphones were obnoxious...eufiber wrist vidlinks strike me as just a cooler way of annoying the guy next to you at Chili's. that and I miss my 386. I was always a Neverhood/Oregon Trail kind of guy.:nostalgic sigh:
