[OpNet] Under A Rock

Archon

Recommended Posts

So i've spent some time off the Opnet.

purposely trying to avoid everything. I think i did okay. Of course i don't know what little birdies followed me.

if there are any folks reading this that can sense magnetic fields, i suggest a vacation in the Peary channel. if you can stand the cold.

it's a very unusual experience.

Lemmy, I only figure, that if a Nova loses their node, it's game over. What easier way to end a Nova's existance in this plane of existance than taking their bloody head off?

I can't blast anyone into oblivion like you can. I need to be more... personal... when I have to defend myself. :P

And don't diss Highlander. Those movies FUCKING ROCKED.

Why? personally, I think there's more to it than that. We got bastards walking around made out of copper, light, and sexy gelatin. I don't see no little lumps of grey matter rocking their shit. I think you're thinking way too mundane here Legolas.

Bullshit. Bull. Shit. "Can't"? "Need"? Man, you gotta drop that shit from your vocabulary. I got one to replace them. "Nova". That means you do what you want to do. Get the base out of your line and pump it up a little.

Lemmy, I don't operate in your world. You're a fucking god, man. You'd wax me *snap* like that. I'm not some guy that can solve his problems with a hellishly cold response. I never have, and I'll probably never will.

Heh. I'm a sneaky bastard though, that has to count for something. That and the ladies love the ears.

Ramone, sometimes it is fear that drives us to cling to the shroud of our old lives to protect us from the light of what we have become, and are becoming.

We should try to show DigiGeist that he is clinging to his fears and being ruled by them. True Faith is not for the timid.

to quote bloodhound gang's "what i'd do if i were god"

'if i don't believe in myself, would that be blasphemy?'

in this case. i don't think so. maybe we should just let digi figure out what he is on his own.

Call me cooky, but seems the lesson means that much more when you learn it for yourself.

Wait a minute now, does this mean that I can get new powers? If I try hard I can learn how to do things other than change shape and that kind of thing?

This is interesting.

I would really like to be able to create fire, how would I go about that? Raw meat is okay I guess, but I do prefer my meals on the medium rare side.

Wait a minute Cull. You want to cook your food? Cooking and controlled use of fire are human inventions/technologies. That seems a bit contrary to everything that you have said in the past. What happened to all the beast/I'm one with nature talk?

I'm more confused about your ideologies then ever.

Juri, some novas have abilities that way.Not all novas who have abilities tied to flame, can make flames that do not burn. One could argue, that those novas who can't preform this ability do not fully master their abilities. Then again, what is the point of a flame,if it has no heat?

wink I think Ms. McClendon may be onto something.

I hearby open a petition that we entreat the nova formally known as Totem to change his name to Schnookems.

It would certainly be a dynamic change to perceptions.

Who is with me?

And Ms. McClendon, you are welcome.

Are you being deliberately dumb? I've never said that I want humanity reduced to living in caves. I simply want them to lessen their negative impact on the world. Is that really so unreasonable? Some help by creating earth-friendly technologies. Other do so by spreading awareness. I eat people. Just doing my part.

Excuse me but (I ask this while trying to seemingly not directly address the raging lunatic in the group) what is the negative impact on the world?

I've asked this question before and, although many seem to tacitly agree that its true, no one actually answers the question. Is Mother Earth so very sacred that she's above enjoying a good hard thrashing once in a while?

Yeah!!!!

Let's get her before she gets us! Just ask the dinosaurs ... they waited too late, playing footsie with Gaia and look what happened to them.

Dinos: Oh, Great Mother, we love you so.

Gaia: Well, that's nice. Have a nice big meteorite.

I'm not a raging lunatic. Actually I'm quite calm.

Mother Earth is the only one we have. Shouldn't we do our best to make ourselves less like a parasite and more like an inobtrusive neighbor?

By the way, I visited Ibiza recently. You're work is very nice. I like you. You inspire people and that is a good thing. Maybe you don't realize it but you inspire people to be better people and sometimes that means they will treat the planet more kindly. So I like you.
