Something you should know. I can die. It's actually an obvious solution.

Cut off my frickin head. Disconnect the node and, well, game over. Why you think I recently started carrying around a sword? For looks?

I know some young punk might pull out some blade of his own, so I thought I'd match him.

Made from only the best orbital alloys and what not. Pulled a massive favor for that baby too.

AGH, I've ranted again.

Okay, April, you don't need to vanish. I'm cool with Tag-Alongs.

And yet, you admit this freely and publicly instead of guarding the secret. In light of your recent...retreat...it would seem more prudent to keep this type of revelation quiet, do you not agree?

A sword, DigiGiest? To be honest, that would not stop the late Very Bad's hands from ripping your head from your shoulders. Nor would it stop a telekinetic powerful enough to behead you with his or her mind. Just because the best way to physically kill you is by removing your head does not mean your enemies will follow the rules set out in some mediocre movie. Or someone could attack your mind, leave your body a useless piece of regenerating flesh.

Sorry, I agree with Ashnod: do not let people know about your weaknesses.

Coming from a guy that routinely gets himself and others shot, I don't think I want to know what he considers a "fake vulnerability".

It just sounds as if the guy likes people trying to kill him. Which as a hobby is his own business if he can survive it but he also likes other people to share in the fun. Now he's carrying a sword? Puhleez. He's daring some poor shmuck to cut his head off and offering April the chance to watch.

cut him some slack.. he's had alot happen recently. I do however agree that blatantly stating weaknesses is never a good thing. I know you've decided not to hide in the shadow anymore Digi, but take babysteps into the light, too much too fast and ya get burned. As a fellow recent arrival in Chicago I wouldn't mind meeting some of the other novas in this town. Everywhere I've gone I've done so as a baseline simply because I don't know my way around.. and just how the people would react. I hate being shot at the first time I come to a town...

"Ryu, are we gonna die?" "Probably."

Ashnod, it's not a revelation. more of a fear. I don't know if I'll sprout a new body from my severed head. That's too... I don't know... Out of the realm of reality.

Lemmy, I was just waiting for that remark. frown

Tarot, You're over-reacting. It wasn't no fucking invitation. Are you always so pedantic? Oh, you're an "Artiste". Stop walking around with your nose stuck in the air. You might drown in a rain storm.

Long, My answer is the same as for Ashnod. I'm not sure if when I get my block knocked off, that I'll be bounding back into the fray later.

Digigeist, you talking to me? Did I do that? Was it my finger that pushed the big red button on your forehead labeled "sore spot"? Are you talking to me?

You are carrying a three foot long potato peeler. Why? In case your laser watch is in the shop getting cleaned on the one day a horde of mite maddened ninjas attacks. And you're pissed off at me for wondering how deep the death wish goes? You seem like a nice enough guy in some ways. Just really strange.

Long, I'm just wondering what the guy is about. There seems to be some issues involved here.

Working for the government is always tricky Tarot. You trust no one, not even your teammates in some circumstances. I never enjoyed my stint working for governments, but I did it because the pay was good and that was where my mentor led me. I've worked in the private sector andd it's so much better now.
