Ramone Gemeos
It seems I come here whenever I'm in a hospital. This time it's a psychiatric ward, and I'm going to be released on 'probation' to a rashoud facility tomorrow. The Doctors tell me I'm just suffereing from extreme mental exertion and shock.I just wanted to come on here and say this:To those of you who know, I'm sorry. I didn't kill him, but he's gone now anyway.
Tarot
Ramone who are you and what are you talking about?
Jager
The brother of Gentle Giant.Seems Utopia drug off Very Bad and Ramone had a hand in it. Rumor has it Bad's as good as dead. Worse perhaps, cause in a way, he is still with us when he should be dead.Ramone, Shit ... and Life ... happen. Survive then regret if you feel like it.How's your brother? Word is Very Bad layed into him really good.

Ramone Gemeos
You are not entirely correct, Mr. Jager, though given the initials of the name you used it may have been intentional. Who is Vile Bill? The name is familiar but I do not remember why.My brother heals quickly. He survived, so he should be fine by now. I have not been allowed to see him since I was taken to this hospital, and it is difficult for him to make a phone call.Mr. Jager, it is not so much what I did that I regret. If I had killed him while errupting, I would accept that and move on. It was his choice. I was there within him as he made the choice. I openned the door to great power for him when I errupted. He chose to step through, even knowing that he would be lost...How can someone do that? Choose to be something completely inhuman forever? I do not mean inhuman like novas of the Teragen. I mean without a trace of what we call sentience remaining? How does someone choose that?
Jager
My mistake. It was Very Bad who has 'moved on'. Some elites have left a lasting impression upon me. Vile Bill was one.Since I use initials so often (as Tarot pointed out), I initially used VB for both of them. When I 'translated' over to words, I made the mistake. My bad. Miss Baby
Well, I can say this the death of any nova should give us all pause. For there are so few of us...

In so many ways, each nova is totally alone. Some embrace that completely, while others run from it.The more power you wield, the more invulnerable you become ... there is a toll for that. I'm not talking aberrations. I'm talking about understanding that you will be around in a thousand years. Understanding that time is just another force in the universe to overcome. To understand that every point in the universe is interconnected. To theorize it is human, but to know it is to be a nova.
Ramone Gemeos
Mr. Jager, thank you for your words. I'm not sure I really want answers to my questions yet, but I will considder what you have said.Mr. Tarot, I am sorry if my comments here have been cryptic. I have not been entirely sane. I am responsible for the destruction of Ian 'Very Bad' Blakely, who occasionally posted here. He is not entirely dead, more likely trapped in a living gilded hell, forever. I was within his mind when that happened, and I'm still recovering my senses.
Hugin
Mister Gemeos, if you'd be of a mind to, I'd appreciate the chance to study you. It wouldn't take long, it would not be intrusive and I would be more than happy to reward you handsomely for the effort.
Ramone Gemeos
I am sorry, Mr. Meehan. While your offer is interesting, my current employers (Utopia) would probably object strenuously.I'm not sure what I want to do with myself yet, but my brother is still best suited to life within Utopia's services branch, so I am not willing to annoy them right now. Tarot
It's chill Ramone. You got to drop the mister-mister thing though. I'm just Tarot or Chris. I caught the rerun of the report on WorldNet today. Blakely's dead according to them.Ramone, WorldNet says you and your brother were taking care of people and Blakely was there killing them. I don't know what happened but I know those fuckers in the top ten would eat their own kids for a pay check so you got to ask yourself a simple question. Is the world a better place with you and your brother in it, or Blakely?Take your time and get better. Love to hear the story but wait til you're off the meds. Walker
If it makes any difference Ramone then in legal terms, in most countries, what happened to you was an act of God. You could never have reasonably expected to erupt as Nova. Therefore what happened was an unforunate accident. When you erupt it is almost as if your abilities get turned full on like a tap... It's like this in Baseline terms...You try and fill a glass up when you're legless, turn the tap on too much, the water splashes all over your jeans, you look like you've wet yourself and then you fail to pull the beautiful bird you've been chatting up all night. From what I've seen amongst elites (I stress here that I've never been an elite though I have met a few) this was the way he wanted to go... On his feet like a soldier. Though if Jager is right then maybe he has just stepped out of time for a few million years. Truly, who knows?
Stephanie 'Holocaust' Hu Zhan
Ian is...dead? He wasn't a good man or a nice man, but...I didn't want him dead. He was very honorable, in his way. Ramone, I hope that you are doing well. Maybe I'll see you on the same side someday. I know you didn't mean to do to Ian what you did, but...he's still dead. It's horrible to be the cause of someone else's death.
David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
...I'm not sure about that dead part.I've had a first hand look at what is left of him and it's really strange. Basically what we have is an apparently indestructible statue. At full strength, I can't even make him bend his arm. There are no life signs. None. Zero. But there is also no sign of any sort of degeneration. Death is supposed to be a process, but I don't see it.I'd like a telepath to give me an opinion. I'd hate to think he's stuck in his own mind or something.
Singularity
I just got a chance to look at the OpNet again...Ramone, allow me to state the obvious: Very Bad would have killed you and your brother if he had considered it necessary. From the information I have gleamed about the situation I think it is a fair assessment that he would have permanently injured you and done his best to do the same to your brother, if not outright kill either of you. Pardon the cliche, but I believe it was "either you or him."Very Bad "died" by the way he lived: combat. If he has somehow sloughed the mortal coil then I am certain his soul/spirit/whatever approves of his ending.

Ramone Gemeos
Thank you all for your kind words.I am finally free of the MR clinic. I have already sat through most of their training anyway, when my brother errupted. His teachers had to visit him, due to his 'condition', and I was usually there with him.Now I'm at a loose end. I didn't let the clinic doctors do the extensive tests they wanted to, and Utopia is is practically begging me to sign on with them. But you know what? I'm not interested. If I went back to Africa and Asia with my brother, I would be next to useless. My abilities do not seem to be geared towards physical labors. If I join their Team Tomorrow Reserve, as they seem to want me to, I will have no more control over my destiny than a prisoner. That path just does not feel right.I will not become an Elite. And for similar reasons, I will not join the XWF.I somehow doubt that I will choose an easy path for myself.Mr. Meehan, if your offer is still open, I am willing to come to see you. Your 'New Ground' sounds like a place I would greatly like to visit.
