[OpNet] I have an announcement to make...

Yesterday evening, Franklin 'Singularity' Alden proposed marriage to me, and I accepted.

This won't be a surprise to some of you while others will be speechless and yet others will have something smart-arse to say about it.

When we have a set date, invitations will be sent.

Thank you for your time,

Saimhe

I am glad you two have found each other. Little room for doubt when you're a telepath eh Codex? wink

Singularity I guess at this point I am supposed to threaten that you better take care of her and all that but to be honest I trust you with the job more than anyone else, including myself. Good luck.

Ms. McLachlan, you have my most heartfelt congratulations. I hope you find great happiness in each other.

Franklin, you picked a wonderful woman. Utopia's loss seems to be your gain here, and the world is a better place for it. (I'm not bitter, really...)

Oh, and before I forget, Saimhe is a marvelous name. So many meanings, so many nuances. I hope you wear it well.

Congratulations, Saimhe, Singularity. I hope you both continue to make each other very happy.

Where do you plan to have the wedding?

I don't normally propose this sort of thing, but it's such a rare occassion, I thought I'd offer; If you're interested in privacy without a compliment of thugs in suits spoiling the mood, I know a few beautiful places where no human has ever been. You'd need someone to shift the wedding party to the area, of course, but that could be arranged.

It's a special day for you two. It should be remarkable, and representative of as great in advancement from baseline marriage as we are from baselines, ourselves.

This is good to hear. Congratulations, both of you. I know that neither of you know me, but I would like to open up my home, Terra Nova, to you; either as a sight for your blessed union, or as sight for your honeymoon.

I wish nothing but happiness for you both.

We're not registered yet -

Frank, love, if Manny makes one more suggestion about appropriate wedding attire involving hawking equipment, I'm not responsible for my actions towards him. Wherever you got him from, I advise you take him back and get an exchange.

Idiot. I don't know what Franklin sees in him, myself. *sigh*

Ian, you are a PRINCE!!!

In spirit of Ian's generosity, I promise you, Singularity, that I will never harm your sweet woman. No matter what, a god will stick to his word, and you have mine. No harm to sweet Saimhe!!

She would probably just upset my stomach, anyway!!!

"If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with", or so the song goes. Please remember, Saimhe, that this is your soon-to-be husbands other half.

Your are an incredible source of knowledge. Turn that knowledge to your present perdicament. Study the history and nature of a Gentleman's Gentleman. If you understand the "why" of why a man would chose that profession, you may be able to find that common ground that allows you to co-exist.

I think it is his subtle vengence for the sudden increase in his workload over the last six months. Admittedly, he is very good at his job, but I spoiled him by being out in the field so much as an elite.

As much as Manny appreciates the compliment (or is unsettled by it, he says he is "all man, baby"), Regan already is my other half.

Regan, Franklin, you are going to receive a wedding gift from me. It´s an alabaster sphere with the center hollowed and filled with a venusian light-emitting moss. I have checked it with my friends at Daedelus and it´s not dangerous. The light of the moss crossing the alabaster is soft and romantic. I think it would be well for fifty years, more or less. But I could refill it then if you like.

Congratulations are in order. It is always a joyous occassion when two people unite in matrimony,I remember mine..... Ah well, I'll send you something as well since it seems proper. It is a new mycosia, one I had an old accomplice create for this occassion I christened it "Angel's Joy." May peace and happiness follow you always.
