kestrel404
I'm thinking about taking an extended vacation from my lab. They can deal with some of the backlog of tests while I'm gone, and I can clear my head.I'm thinking of doing some hiking in terrain most people wouldn't want to. Amenities are not necessary.I was thinking of climbing the Himilayas, wandering the Gobe desert, that kind of thing. Does anyone have a suggestion? Inhospitable, but beautiful is what I'm looking for.
Singularity
The Andes mountains. I found a few untouched native ruins once working as an Elite. I did not really appreciate them at the time but I can tell you they are amazing. And if you go to the Himilayas, drop me a line before you go: I can tell what to avoid and what not to miss. Preston
I recommend staying away from the Gobi. You might wander into Chinese territory. Not recommended.Personally, I have always wanted to go sailing for a few months. Go were the tides and currents take me. Maybe 'round the Horn, or along the NorthWest Passage. The latter should be remote enough for your tastes, Mr. Roberts.

Gentle Giant
I could toss you...but it would still take a while. And my aim's not that great.
BlackStar
Mr. Roberts, if you can survive the space rigors or have access to equipment that permits you that, I can give you a ride there.
Singularity
Thank you for the offer, Gentle Giant, but I believe I will wait for more unconvential means. Perhaps we can try the tossing idea for something else at the powwow.Edited: Boy, I am the narcissistic one today since that message was for Alchemist. Sorry. kestrel404
Well, I was looking for an 'out there' vacation spot. Space might not be a bad place to start.I can survive in vacuum. I've tested that, and I've realized that my node and subconscious controls a very large portion of my biochemistry now. I can create clothing for myself that will withstand the temperature extremes, and I have other abilities to deal with other aspects of space. So yes, I can survive.Do I want to go? It would be an incredible waste for me to pass up the opportunity. Yes, I think I do want to go. BlackStar, if you are willing to take me, I'm willing to go. BlackStar
Right, then where do you think you would like going in space?. In the solar system, please, my range don´t permit me to go out of it, yet. Oh, and please tell me where to go to get you.
Ian 'Very Bad' Blakely
Space walking.Interesting. I might have to try that when I get some real vacation time.
Vox Via
My pilgrimage to titan proved to enjoyable, worthwhile and calming. But it was to long, and that is another story about pride. In any case,if you wish to go into space,I can take you any place you want, within my limits. Vincent Carver
Space, now that would be exciting! It's a shame I can't survive such environments without technical assistance. I'd love a chance to brush up on my shuttle piloting and E.V.A skills.

Wakinyan
I wonder if my wings will work in space? Logically I would say no but someone once told me my wings don't matter since it is Quantum that really powers my flight. I have been up pretty high. Dunno how high though since I never take an altimeter but it is above most commerial airliners.

Do you know if you could survive space, Totem?
