Sphere
So I was hanging out with this Elite chick a few days ago. We was chatting and the subject of eufibre comes up. I was saying how the stuff freaks me out, the idea of having a living thing in intimate contact with me crown jewels if it isn't a pretty lady. She was all for it though. Said it boosts the ammount of juice you can pump out, and makes great body armour if you don't mis-treat it. Also she did this strip-show with her eufibre where she mentally ordered it to peel off! Pity she was only interested in the Directive bounty on my head. Had to 'port out real quick when she pulled the railgun out from behind the sofa. Women, eh?So what's everyones thoughts on this stuff. Good, bad, or bloody scary. Any truth to those urban legends of eufibre suits draining the juice right out of their wearer at a critical moment? David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
It's good stuff. It keeps me from wearing purple and from ripping up my clothes.I know mine doesn't act like a storage battery, when ever I try to pull out juice it just pulls it back. Other than that it is always there, and I've never had any problems with it getting sick or anything. It's really durable stuff.
Charr
Don't use it myself. Nothing against B; it's his to use, I don't need it and zip status symbols are irrelevant.
Sakurako Hino
Well, I don't touch the stuff myself. I tend to break out when I do. Might be an aberration, might be my nature, I don't know, but it happens. So I can't really say I've had any experiences with Eufiber that I can add to this. Alex Craft
I can't use it either - it gets into a kind of feedback loop with an aberration of mine. Funny how many novas have some kind of allergy or bad reaction to the stuff - not something Buendia exactly advertises. For most of us, it is pretty useful - both as a battery and armor. Some of us can even do some interesting stunts with it - forming tentacles and such. I gather that that kind of thing is pretty difficult to learn, though. There are bad colonies - pretty rare, but they'll steal juice from the host when they get drained or hurt. They usually won't suck you dry, but it could be an issue in a fight.
Vixen
For the longest time, I tried to get ahold of a sample of this stuff so I could do some testing on it. Classifying living organisms that haven't been classified yet, after all, was my job.But man, is this stuff expensive. You wait-list forever, too. And then a two-tailed vulpine landed in my lap and I got distracted.Nowadays, I'm still interested in it, but my coffers are not exactly bulging and I'd rather not retire the selection of outfits that others have been kind enough to send me. If anything I'd donate it to the university, now.
Sphere
Why did I just get an image of Charr leaping into combat bollock-naked, that's going to replace the whale in my nightmares!Tell me you stick to some norms of zip society mate? Meridian
I haven’t had a chance to use the stuff yet. At first I just didn’t have the cash then other stuff just kept coming up.I will say this. The stuff is extremely useful. While most of us are plenty tough the extra protection it provides comes in really handy if a situation gets violent. The ability to reshape it at will is fantastic too. I’ve seen some creative people really do some neat stuff this way.The dark rumors and urban legends do bother me a bit. I’ve never heard of any of them panning out yet and I do know tons of folks who swear by this stuff … but maybe subconsciously that’s why I haven’t gone out to buy any yet.Kind of silly now that I think about it. Hugin
I enjoy it. I've become fairly proficient at shaping and changing it. As a result I've little need for other clothes. Saves on closet space magnificently. And Charr, I've always thought of it as a Nova status symbol, not a baseline one. We are the only ones who can truly use it to it's potential. Just another example of our seperation. That they covet it is yet another.

Inspite of what Fauna and Walker claim, whales are as stupid as zips when it comes to their stomachs. Seems like every other time I'm down one or two of the stupid bastards has to get shredded before the rest get the hint; tentacles do not equate to food. The gray stuff is kind of tasty when it's steamed just right though. I'm getting it down to a science.Tell me you stick to some norms of zip society mate? Wait a tick, I know this one! Serious - I'm not much of a clothes horse. The chitin keeps the breeze off the undercarriage and off the rack doesn't come equipped for my form anyway.Prodigy:And Charr, I've always thought of it as a Nova status symbol, not a baseline one.I see your point but let's face it; it's just another vector for the zips to infect us with their societal mores. Jager
Come on, Meridian. Your perceptions can't be that shallow.I've had three suits of eufiber in my career. The first one died on me in a truly hellish fight. It added to the unpleasentness, as it had gone through so much learning and growing with me, when I was young. The second one, I bleed for, literally. I swear it had a personality, and when it came down to blood, bone, and fiber, I sacrificed a bit of blood and bone to keep it alive. Never regretted it.The third suit stayed with me until recently. I grew away from needing it, so I passed it on to another nova who would appreciate it. Redback
I find the stuff to be fantastic, it loves me. It's so easy to use and it's more protective. But appartently this stuff isn't the usual fibre, not too sure if it is even from buendia stash. I got it when I erupted in the middle of the rain forest

DigiGeist
The stuff scares me, quite honestly. It moves on your command, yet has a bit of it's own needs and wants. It is, in a way, it's own lifeform. Not to say it is, it's just... freaking weird, man!Although, it makes a kick-butt bodysuit for all those sneaky-type things I like doing, and it's quite warm with the right thought put into designing what you're wearing. It's almost like sculpture. Jake Cosmos Stafford
Quite well really. I find that it shifts even more easily for one. Plus the ability to have cloths on that don't rip of as you change forms is nice.
Essex
I personally find attuning what I wear to work nicely for that. Plus I have found I can even alter what I have attuned when I shift. It's quite fascinating.Still, I suppose having a suit of clothes that doesn't need to be attuned can have it's advantages too. It would certainly leave me free to attune other things and I have some experiments I'd like to try on that front.
Jake Cosmos Stafford
It also does more than attuned cloths can, it's almost like it becomes part of you. I can make it move like a whip or a rope. Or scratch my back, and then carry the dead skin cells away. No set of normal cloths can do that.
Zed
I'm on the waiting list to get some eufiber. I hear Mr. Buendia is a fan of my show so hopefully I won't be waiting long.
