David 'Dr. Troll' Smith
Thank you. I'll be self less about this:"I wish that I, or someone else, would make public an easily accessable cure for quantum backlash syndrom, more commonly known as 'taint'". Neil Preston
Me? I would like to bring a solution to taint and the Aberrancy Syndrome to the world's novas. To let every nova evolve at their own rate, without fear. Not too much, just immortality, of a sort.
Charr
Quote:Neil:I would like to bring a solution to taint and the Aberrancy Syndrome to the world's novas. Something to think about, Neil. 1. The yoo-pee's say Taint doesn't exist.2. Problem tend to 'disappear' with yoo-pee's.3. Yoo-pee's say there's no problem.Careful what you wish for Neil. I told you before, what you're looking for already exists. Have a little caution who you ask about it though. Others listen and have their own reason to keep you ignorant. If you believe something doesn't exist, is impossible to control, or - the best lie of all - is a disease then you won't pursue the answer. Neil Preston
Charr, one of the things that my Dad taught me, and I have come to appreciate is this:A life lived in fear isn't worth living.I understand taint and aberrancy are hot button topics. I can see why any group who found these answers would have reasons for keeping quiet. Especially, if you the answers aren't happy ones.Taint isn't a disease. I know this in the core of my being. I can't find the words to describe how I feel about it, but I'm not afraid of it. It is something we need to understand.
Charr
I'm not telling you to be afraid, just be aware.'Happy' is a human thing. It's worth giving up human things to be something more. If you have the strength. Some don't.

Sphere
I think I'd be happy if you could give any Directive field operatives assigned to my case an attack of chronic diarrhoea whenever they come within 15ft of me. That'd be nice. That, or work it so that Charr gets selected for a reality tv show where he has to live in a house with baselines.Five college students. One hardcore Terat. Imagine the hilarity. Happy is a human thing? Whatever gets you through the day, moron. Jeesh, is this the so-called future of novakind?I am human, and more than human. I am both the same person I was before I erupted, and alot more. I have evolved, but I haven't had to abandon my humanity along the way.Charr, you don't need to give up your humanity. You chose to. That's the difference.I have every range of emotion available to me now that I had then. If anything, they have become clearer, stronger, and sweeter to the senses. You keep cutting your mind up that way, Charr, because its the only way you can deal with the monster you have become. The Paragon
Ashnod, I leave that call up to you. Unlike Charr and his fanatical breed, I don't go around telling other novas what they can or can't believe in.Do you consider yourself inhuman? Here is another question for you, considering I find you in a talkative mood:Did you ever believe that baseline humans and novas could work together? Charr
Restricting as in I wasn't getting in on the action. Not mention assuming a certain level of capability. I was using the context of the thread to say (to Paragon), "Head's up, scumbag."Don't worry. It really wasn't about you. It didn't start out with, "Bwahahaha." Sphere
Oh come on Charr, I know you love baselines really. We're all well aware that Nova Vigilance is being run by a covert wing of Project Utopia in order to provide "supervillains" for T2M to fight, so that the Illuminati can keep the masses dumb by doping the water with trace elements of mox... Damn, half a year running with the Aberrants and their bloody conspiracy theories are starting to stick. Paragon, you need to have a closer look at what goes on in the Bahrain facility. Bet you don't have the security clearance to get everywhere in that place do you? Mate, there's whole levels you haven't even seen. I'm in total agreement with Charr on this (shocking I know). That prison camp needs to be cracked wide open so everyone can see what's going on inside. If it's as innocent as you say then what's the harm in letting in independant Nova observers to okay it?If this problem growing inside Utopia can't get sorted, then you're setting yourselves up for a fall of cataclysmic proportions. Jager
My wish, Signy, is for you to dorm down for a week, with no specific peaking involved. You pick the week, but it needs to be seven consistant days to count.

Jager
Sphere, if The Paragon isn't full of shit, he was in Utopia back in '03. A decade ago. I'm thinking his clearence might be a tad higher than most. Also, he isn't Paragon from T2MAmericas, but there have been three Paragon's since '98. One, the first, joined PU in '00. He was wounded in Kashmir in '06 and retired to parts unknown. The second Paragon was an elite with Novelty, but a Janissary cut off his head after a protracted fight in Malaysia in '08. Tough son of a bitch. He held off three novas while his baseline charge, the target of the assassination attempt, escaped. In retaliation, The Red Sash took his head after the fight was over. She is one mean bitch, and there is not doubt in my mind that she killed him.The third Paragon has recently returned to active duty with T2MAmericas, after a leave of absence. He got pretty shook up when he killed the Elite Ripsaw during a hit in South America. From what I understand, it was a particularly brutal fight.Enough of the history lesson. Ghostwriter
Hey Signy,Pity you couldn't give me a wish. I'd wish for every halfwit on the planet to develop laryngitis and finger cramps. Of course, world peace would be nice.
Hugin
So far wishes requested by Sphere, Ashnod, Jager, Neil Preston and Dr. Troll. So far those wishes refused or ignored one and all.The one 'wish' fulfilled was the presentation of sports memorabilia. Now, while I do think not too highly of the good officer, I do believe that he is capable of putting together a wish a tad more potent than that.I'm not particularly impressed here Signy. Matryoshka
I have not ignored any wishes.Neil, and Smith are both free to see what I know of taint.I couldn't fallow threw Sphere's wishes,as couldn't make said device, and I do not own Charr.Jager wishes me too dorm down. This is something I can't do.He said I should do this in my own time frame, and I do plan on doing so. But,then again you seem to be losing your edge.As I only ignored one wish.If any of said parties want something else, they can ask for it.
Violette 'V' D'Aronique
And Ashnod's?I mean, your reason to deny it was that it would "void" the reason you gave it to her.All we know from your thread so far is that you gave us our wishes because it was a spiffy day and you wanted to do something nice.Since she said that was her last communciation from her to you, it's not like she's going to ask for anything else.
