[OpNet] Early X-Mas Present for Utopia!!

Recommended Posts

Utopia announced today that former Devries Elite David "Doc Troll" Smith has taken a position with them as a medical researcher in their Biological Sciences S&T area.

Doc Troll, infamous for his early blunders as an Elite, has been flying under the radar for quite some time. When asked if he was being groomed for an eventual place on Team Tommorow a highly placed confidential source denied the possibility.

This is a feather in the cap for Utopia to be the one cherry picking the competition's pool of novas rather than the other way around.

Why thank you Endeavor, but you are thinking about T2M, and it was made very clear to me that I am not on the T2M track. wink

The problem isn't that I'm not combat able, the problem is that I'm not considered combat stable. Can't imagine why. :P

It looks like I'll be in the New York area for the most part. Not a big surprise, the East Coast is the world wide home of most of the big pharmaceutical manufacturers. There is a lot of infrastructure there to support that sort of research.

Preston: Well, I would have preferred that you gone into business for yourself, Dr. Smith, but I can understand the appeal that Project Utopia has for you. Congrats.

The problem with doing my own thing is that I'm not known for the kind of thing I want to be doing, and most of running your own business is administration. I figure this way I skip most of those kinds of headaches and if I find something really hip I can live with being on salary and not getting the lions share of the profits.

DigiGeist: Doc, give me a call if you need anything. I hear they need some tech support once in a while.

Thank you.

Sakurako 'Endeavor' Hino: Not to mention I haven't gotten to see him lately. I do consider him a friend at the very least.

Ditto, Sakurako. And I have been out of touch for quite a bit with this "peace corp' stuff. Speaking of which, it was an interesting, worthwhile experience.
