[OpNet] To help organize a little sailing trip...

Sakurako Hino

Recommended Posts

I'm opening up this thread for the organiation purposes for our little ocean voyage in a couple of weeks. Let Me know what's needed so I can get the proper equipment.

As for who's going, make sure to let me know. As far as I know, this is the team/crew/party...

Myself

Walker

Hammerhead

Jason

Cody

If anyone else wishes to join, you'd be advised we're getting full. We could use support though on the Hikari Maru II as we enjoy some quality time in the Pacific. Could always use someone at the ship to make sure things are alright.

Anyways, this is the place to talk about the little expidition we are about to take.

TUM TUM LIKE WATER. WHO IS HAMMERHEAD? HE SOUNDS TASTY.
Many a lady with more experience in the matter would tell you that you are correct TUM TUM.

Endeavour, do we need to bring any stuff ourselves or is your ship equipped enough?

So far, I've added a few books to my pack list ( in case I need to intruct anyone), plenty of booze (for those of us that can dorm, NOT until after we have finished the diving and then waited a time), and underwater video equipment.

I'll bring my dive log too, I still use it even though I haven't needed any equipment for years.

Walker, come by anytime you want. I live in Gibraltar, any local can tell you where.

Jason and Cody, I can teach you enough to go down below, you can even get official certificates if you are interested. In fact you really should get them.

,,

Onboard, I have all the necessary equipment for the air breathing part of our team (oxygen tanks, wetsuits, regulator equipped helmets (so we can communicate), hyperbaric chambers (incase one of us get the bends), plus all approved and required safety equipment. You think I'd go about this recklessly?

I also have some camera equipped sub-drones to add to the cause for photography purposes.

That is always good to have, even if you can actually breathe water.

I can pick you up by jet and take you to my place in Japan. It's a long trip since I won't use any faster methods of travel, but it'd still be a scenic trip.

We all will meet at Endeavor Point. At least that is as far as I gather since my Yacht is parked here as well.

Endeavor you do not need to get any gear for me. I am covered.
Well, we can use someone on the Yacht playing minder, as we're mucking about. As long as you don't mind being on a yacht in submarine mode about 75 feet underwater.

Suddenly hit me I was spending time thinking up reasons I couldn't go. So I am going after all. Man should use his time wisely or at least have some fun. Want to see what Miss Hino thinks of as cutting edge. Thought Miss Malory never left LA too but none of my business. I'm traveling light. Don't mean as much with me as with some folks.

Walker, I could use that ride if you don't mind. Keep me away from folks looking for papers and I'll be fine. And thanks HH. Don't need no piece of paper but tutoring is just fine.

75 feet? Don't sound like a whole lot.

75 feet will be the operating depth. Unless you have pressure tolerances that I don't, I won't be going any further than 125 feet. the Hikari Maru II will be at 75 feet to serve as a base of operations and to provide depressurization to prevent the bends. (In other words, be prepared for sitting in an airlock for a short time.)

E, you have come along way. I still remember that first cute little sailor suit your mom made for you ... with the auto-inflation device situated just right.

Yep, no one would mistake you for a guy with that thing.

Yessir, you've come along way.

Cody, sometimes you have to remember the road traveled, and other times it's best not to look back.

But let me put it like this, for all the hell my Mother put me through, she did make sure I was safe. Perhaps it's this that give me my more cautious methods. I assure you though I hold no ill grudge toward Jager for that remark, since I deserved that barb. The reason? It was a two way street in that situation.

I don't wish to talk about it further.

Jager, you shouldn't talk of young people in such a mannor. It is rather unbecoming of someone like you.

Now onto the important things in life.Eneavor, we were all young once, and wile the hell you went threw is easier to show the world, then the hell most others went threw, remember this.We all live in the same world, and we all live by the same rules. So, I tell you from living my life,it can't be that bad, if you are still alive.

Yeah no problem, got a bit busy last few days, had my own stuff to sort out, must be the season or something. Sure I'll pick you all up, there's bound to be a diving school somewhere in the Med and this diving in the Pacific ain't for a few days. We could hole up in Gibralter, Ibiza or wherever so that anyone who needs training can get it. Also I fancy having a few swims with Hammerhead between now and the trip proper. Cody, you better save me some of those brownies or there'll be trouble smile

Jason, if you sort things out quickly I can pick you up from where-ever. I'm a Warper see, anywhere on earth isn't a problem to reach.

Signy, what was it you wanted to ask?

Planning a trip??? Being an adpatable, warping Nova I scoff at such feeble baseline notions wink

Walker's a pal and your going to like him, Neil. Straight up kind of fella. Normal as the day is long. You wouldn't know what he's done something odd til it gets mentioned in passing. "Sorry for being late. Was helping a mate move to the moon." That sort of thing. smile

I'll save you all a few of mamma's brownies. More sugar than the Hard Rock Candy mountains. Just what a growing nova boy for juice work. Ain't never been out of the country before, Walker. This ought to be fun.

Cody, Neil and I already had a chance to meet and it did have something to do with the Moon strangely enough. You sure you've not got a touch of the mental pick-pockets about ya wink If we're all going to Gibralter then we'll have to go via customs, they get a bit touchy of you don't. It might be a better idea to get a hotel in Ibiza, cos they usually don't give a damn.

Sounds like you guys are prepping a "before the trip" party. Trust me on this, I have the papers all set and I can join the regular suspects if there is fun to be had, but I'd also rather be setting up the equipment we will need. Not to mention Lemmy has invited me to a party later on, so I'd better save up the energy I need for some hardcore reveries.

Aww. And I bet her outfit was pink.

Just kidding, Pinkie. Anyways, I'm up for a little dive. Ever since I discovered I don't need to breathe, I gotta figure out just how good I am. I'm a pretty good swimmer, and I think the change of scenery from the frozen tundras of Minnesota would be nice.

I'll remember to bring some spare floaties for the captain. wink If worse commes to worse, I can monitor things from the... What was the name of Miss Hino's little Captain Nemo-esque mental masturbation?

Cody, thanks for the assists, but I think I will know Walker when I see him again. He took a group of us to the moon, after all.

Walker, it will be good to see you again.

Passport is not a problem. Dad helped me with the State Department and a few humanitarian organizations have helped out with various glitches along the way.

Digi, take a chill-pill. Life's too short for carrying that much aggression.

Life too short? Pshaw.

And I wasn't being aggressive. As Miss Hino has said numerous times, unless made painfully obvious, humor can be misconstrued. Of course I'm not a comedian. So my technique comes off a little more, how you say, direct.

Neil, I'm completely chilled out.

Yeah. Your okay, Digigeist. For an old guy. smile

Neil, didn't know you two had met. I guess that makes sense though. There ain't that many of us to begin with. The friendly ones (or at least not complete dicks) seem to meet and greet jsut about every other one.

Didn't know about the moon. Walker's offered a couple of times but I ain't ready to step out there yet. Its kind of cool.

Miss Malory; Cody,I can get you a passport in two hours.

Sorry but I missed the offer the first couple of times. Thanks. The name my mamma gave me is Jeremy Stone.

Digi, I'd recommend if you come along on our trip, stay onboard the HMII. Unless you actually feel like rolling the bones to see if you actually don't need air for extended legnths.

Cody and the rest: Let me know what you guys will be needing equipment wise. One more thing, whoever is in, speak now or forever hold your peace. Gotta make sure I got enough supplies for everyone, right?
