Sakurako Hino
I'm heading back to Japan for a week or so to oversee the final bit of testing on my new yacht. I can't wait to spend my NEWLY gained monitary resources a bit too.My partner at the restaurant is handling things wonderfully, and I just feel homesick. So, if there's any suvineers you guys want me to pick up, go ahead and send me a message here. ^.^Oh, and when I get back, I feel like throwing a Halloween party (on Halloween of course) on my yacht. Just to... show off the new ship a bit and give it a good housewarming. ^.^So, see you in a week or two!
DigiGeist
Hey, if you can send me one of those schoolboy coats (the long black type) I'll send you my dimensions and you can get me one! I sorta like the Neo look.Oh, and bring back some pocky. Choclate Pocky. I need my fix and all the local Suncoasts are out.
Sakurako Hino
Well, I'm back, although I waited a few days to officially announce my return.Er.... wait a moment, Connection trouble... I'll mention what I got for everyone shortly.
Sakurako Hino
Sorry, I just discovered my cat chewed through one of my wires at my main terminal and caused a short...Anyways, here's the booty.Jager: I scored you a copy of the Book of Five Rings my Miyamoto Mushashi. I'm not sure if you already have that, but I doubt you have read it in it's original Japanese. That, and a traditional pair of samurai swords, forged from orbital alloys. The black sheaths and grips are carved with traditional detail. You could say it's a mix of old and new Japan.Vixen: I wasn't sure if I could get something for you since you had been... on the Injured/Reserve list so to speak, but I decided to get you something anyways. It's a beautiful white/red robe combination. You'll like the design since it's what most Shinto priestesses wore. Don't see it much now-a-days. I thought the look fit your developing form. I had the necessary modifications made. For your tails.Walker: I got you a GPS and some well made hiking clothes. Not exactly something that reminds you of where I come from, but I figure you like getting things you actually use.Digi: I got you the coat, and the Pocky.Lemmy: Strangely enough, I thought of you when I saw this. It's from a Tokyo Heavy-Metal/Industrial band called KS-365. They're HARD. REAL HARD. And Indie to the core.GFB: For you, I got you a new sound system. With the latest computer controlled mixing system. It's practically a simple matter of thinking about what you want, and doing it. You don't have to worry about the hard stuff. I'm sure you'll find some new uses I can't figure out with my limited DJing skill.Violette: I really couldn't think of anything other than this cute stuffed cat. It's innocent stare was just too precious.TeknoKat: I found a SWEET new black bodysuit for you. With LOTS of pockets. Perfect for holding your tools you are always fiddling around with.As for me? Well, I got some new toys for myself. I'll send pictures as time goes on.
Miss Baby
Endeavor,do you think the two Pile it higher and deepers and that more of the same old shit are for looks? I made my own sound system, to the point that it built for my body, and quantum form.Wile, I do thank you. I do not take gifts often, and it could be seen as rude to offer me a sound system.Music is my life, and I have the best.

The thing with the tails has changed recently, but I was able to nova up and try on some of my other tail-friendly outfits and they still seem to fit, so... I'll be glad to have it. It does have pockets, though, right? Or at least come with a matching purse?

I need the practice.Vixen: I made a few... adjustments for the modern Kitsune. ~.^ Including pockets. It was sort of hard to do so they aren't obvious, but I pulled it off without damaging the clothes or the look. Your friends won't know they're there.Lemmy: Heheh. Now you have a legit copy. Sakurako Hino
Walker, I'm serously thinking of coming up with some computer you can use for stellar navigation.Although the programming of the system would be a headache in itself.
Jordan
Actually Ms. Hino, the algorithms and mathematics are quite simple if your used to thinking in 5 or 6 dimentions.Walker, I do have a crude model I wouldn't mind lending to you if this sort of thing really interests you. It's not the most advanced model I have access to, but it is the only one I'd feel comfortable with letting others examine. You know, I thought you space travelers would have developed some sort of internal navigational sense or instinct. I figured it would be a natural path of evolution for one attuned to traveling such vast distances.
Sakurako Hino
Jordan, I can. It's just the massive juggling of numbers.I'm still getting used to doing that type of intense calculations. Not to mention all the re-checking I do.Hell, with all the double-checking I do and all the precautions I take, it's a miracle I get anything done! Preston
As someone who thinks and sees in five dimensions, what is the sixth you are referring to?Height(x)Length(y)Depth(z)Time(t)Trans-dimensional(Tf)= I'm precognative, so I see in multiple possibilities{Sixth}?
Sakurako Hino
Sixth? Never needed it. As for your Fifth, Preston, have you tried to do calculations based on potential entropic variables in probability? Or random occurances? That X Variable can be such a bitch.
Jordan
Actually Preston, that all depends. Some sources I have consider The Collective Unconscious a mathematical dimension and some use Entropy/Chaos as a dimension as well. Also, remember that the Transdimensional dimension that you are referring to is actually an infinite number of mathematical dimensions that can be used in multidimensional mathematic equations and the physical sciences that use them. Walker
Quote:Originally posted by Sakurako 'Endeavor' Hino: Walker, I'm serously thinking of coming up with some computer you can use for stellar navigation. Aha, the League beat you to it. We collated the data from Hubble and Keplar space telescopes with that from the Hippacaros II catalogue and came up with a stellar navigation program which we called Yardstick. You can download it from the Opsite at a mear 130MB. It should pretty much guarantee that you don't get lost within 150 light years of earth, beyond that it's less accurate but we included all known celestial phenomenon, so you'll know roughly where you are. Lots of people download it anyway coz you can use it to make pretty pictures and we included an option so it can look like you're zooming about the stars and planets in a space ship. Educational and fun. It's all open source stuff so feel free to fiddle about with it. Some dude has even done a fictional universe which includes locations from Star Trek. Don't get the two confused
Cody
Walker; Don't get the two confused. If you want to deliver them I can make some space boxes and even mark them up for any BEMs out there. Hugin
On the topic of interesting dimensions to measure by, in some of my social models I measure fear and hunger in social groups. Sakurako Hino
Heh. Out of curiosity, I did something like that. But dealing with the reproductive urges of people. Walker
Jager 150 light years is the radius in which it's really accurate based mainly on the data from the catalogue. It's difficult to measure the distance to the stars because you have to use trigonometry and measure the angles really, really, really accurately. Parallax, if you're familiar with the term, you have to put a special type of instrument on a satellite to measure it. Then there's the fact that the light takes a long time to reach earth so you're not seeing the stars as they are now but as they were when the light first set out on it's journey. All the objects are moving as well which makes things tricky too. I know everyone measures things in gigs now-a-days but yes I did mean megabytes, small isn't it, shows you how little we really know. There are add ons for if you've got the right sort of scientific instruments but the basic model is just, look at the screen and compare it with what you're seeing in the sky, adjust what you're seeing on screen until it matches what you see in the sky.Cody I'll take a couple of those T shirts cos Oscar wants one too, mark them up as 'veer left at the population II star'. Astronomy humour, you see.Easy enough. You can have them anyway you want except eufiber. Don't know how Buendia puts up with that shit growing out of him. I can do it but it gets snakey to work with. Keeps trying to bunch up on me halfway through. Nine times out of ten I got to make the stuff raw and then force it into what I want it to be after it settles down.Want to come to Roswell or meet me at Lemmies party later and I'll make them there? Got a trick I want to show you anyway. I want to see if it works for any nova or just me. Lemmies party might be a good place cause there'll be a passel of us around so a bunch can try it. I am actually heading back to Japan in the next few days. With the island. I got a little spot that I found while I was in Japan last where I discovered a docking point for my island that my Mom hid. Walker
Cody If you can swing me an invite off of Lemmy then I'll meet you at the party. Seeing as Lemmy's parties are of heroic proportions I'd be a fool not to.Jordan My boasting and ego self-stroking caused me to overlook you're offer and comment. I'd be delighted to have a look at your system and try it out. I should generate some interesting test data for you if nothing else. Are you still running Solar Solutions or did that go? My understanding of stellar navigation is somewhat limited, my warp gates allow me to cheat and use pure intuition to get there. I picked up a smattering of it the hard way and was lucky not to be hit in the back of the head by Phobos travelling at 27,000 km/h. To all you warpers out there I say make sure you open a warp gate that is orbiting a planet not static to it, otherwise one day you might find yourself squashed by a moon.
