Sandy Davis
I have gone further than i have ever gone beore, and I have come back.Well I am not home yet, but I am near by. But looking down on home I see, just how small, the earth is. Just how small we all are.I would like to say a few things. First, and maybe most importantly, Ameno. Ameno to all those i know, and those I do not know yet. I see the world in a light that put so many of my problems at ease.Walker, I am ready to answer you. What is God. Well, in the of me I was refering to Sol.it is also know as the Sun. God doesn't not judge you, nordoes it force you to prey to it.It does not need your faith.Walker, I am sorry if I offened you in anyway. Truely I do not mean you anyharm.James, as far as I know it is fair to say that we are made of of what used to be a star, just as all things are.So yes we are the same.Ashnod, you think it is ego that I call myself somethign other than a nova. In away you were right, but in away you were wrong. For I do not see myself as a dying, nor do I see my death as something that will spread life threw out space. But in the end you can think of me anyway you want.It is your mind after all.
Sakurako Hino
Sandy, this may be a small place, but it's home. You know what it's like to walk among gods, but do you know how to walk with the common mortals as well? How will you live, now that you've tasted infinity?
Sandy Davis
well, my good Endeavor. it is nto that I am nto happy with it, it is that things are not put in a new light.the world around you is small, but so are you. After all space is a great big place. So, let me just say this..There is not problem on earth too big to be called smal when compared to the whole of space. Sakurako Hino
Sandy. What the difference is between you and me, is that I'm not in your league. At best I could be considered a some sort of insect on your scale. Trust me, I've seen videotape of your past self. I'm sure you're twice that, now. What I mean is, as you return to where you start, watch where you step. Please?
Sandy Davis
Endevor, you are more than that to me.You are far too important to be even thought of any way like that. And in way youcan do things that I do nto think i could ever do.

I'd like a side of fun with my catastrophic consequences, please. No matter what the Project might say there's more to life than service. Sakurako Hino
Hmm.I guess some people are calibrated to rise, at the trumpets of battle. Attracted to conflict, to end it. I love people like that. Willing to risk everything to achieve a goal. Who, in times of pure chaos seem to fight it off to achieve a semblance of order. Jager, Cody... You guys are great, you know that? But those types of situations we don't see untill after the opportunity passes. So the best thing anyone can do is have eternal vigilance.I'd rather be watching out for something I care about, over isolating myself and following the "prime directive" (that concept is flawed as is) to the letter. When someone has the power to practically re-write the code of the frigging internet ( ~.^ ) and giv every techie at Viasoft a s*ithemmorage... You've got to step carefully, but know where you can do the most good.Like last night. Some hotshot black-hat made a nasty terminal virus code.I stopped it's release, and fried his mainframe. Making the OpNet safe for surfers everywhere. You can thank me later. When some code-kiddie thinks he can make digital ebola, I just need to lay the smack down. And trust me, he was nothing more than a code kiddie. the virus he modified was something that plagued the old internet for years via e-mail attachments. SO easy to counter.

Sorry to batter you with theological arguement but what is this god actually good for then? If it doesn't display any judgement of what use can it be?You know, your god seems very like the plant god. Speaking from the experience of my conversations with plants they frequently ascribe the Sun as a universal lifegiving force, the source of being and consciousness. If it makes you and them happy to think of the Sun that way then that's up to you and them. If you've discovered some solar/cosmic consciousness then more power to you, after all I have reasonable conversations with plants for heaven-sake (pun intended). I prefer to trust my own perceptions on the matter, if you like, my own perceptions and quantum talents, make it impossible to think in terms of such a thing as god. And I honestly can't say I feel I'm missing much. After all how many terrible crimes have been commited in the name of god, destiny or any other idea? I say, be responsible for your own actions. If you go around following god or destiny you'll probably only go making things worse.
Jager
Walker, got a question or two for you.How do the plants that have to catch fire and burn so that their seeds are released look at the whole life-death cycle? Also, do seed have any conception of how long they sleep?
Walker
Plant's tend to view time as cyclical, especially temperate species, winter is a time of no consiousness followed by a time of consciousness in summer a bit like sleeping. Some however remain 'awake' all year round, but the idea that time is a circle seems to hold true for pretty much all of them. Those that catch fire deliberately and those with short individual lifespans speak of rebirth through seed, as though parts of their consciousness were transfered into the seed to grow anew in a slightly different form. At times it's almost like the field of plants is the conscious part with the indivudal plant being a thought or series of thoughts. Fungi are similar, the rootsystem is the organism and the mushroom or fruiting body is apparently just their way of communicating with each other. Some of them speak of seed dreams, but they are not really aware of the time that passes as a seed, just as most of us aren't aware of anything in the womb.Of course all these conversations and personalities may be just my minds way of 'dragging quantum information' out of the plants, but it seems to work. I always see it as mindbending rather than telepathy, I bend my mind and their mind(?) and we meet somewhere in the middle.
