metaphysician
I remember from a thread a ways back, the topic of "what can analyze weakness apply towards" came up. The argument was, it works against "objects, creatures, and systems", and that a mind is not any of the above, thus, it doesn't do anything in that area. However, I recently noticed counter-evidence: under the description of the Mind Block technique for Consciousness Supremacy, it is explicitly stated that Analyze Weakness can detect the presence of a mind block within oneself. This seems to indicate that a mind one is able to perceive counts as a viable target for Analyze Weakness ( probably categorized under "system" ).Thoughts? Alex Green
There's no conflict, AW, even in this case, doesn't lower willpower. And I'd thought we had errata somewhere at some point that said as much... but I can't find it now.
metaphysician
I'm not averse to saying it can't be used to lower willpower. . . but even if so, it still should be possible to use it to lower defensive powers, one a sux for sux basis. Alex Green
That'd basically be P-shield and INV:Mental. Mechanically find weakness *could* work (although AP simply *can't*).
