BlueNinja
Ok folks - who (players only vote please!) wants to decrease the recharge time? Who wants to increase the length of the gate window? Who doesn't care?

Alex Green
I voted for a decrease in recharge time.YES!!!I see no benifit to those three extra minutes, we aren't using the 10 that we have. However, although it hasn't come up yet, while being chased by the nova eating thinges, I'd rather have the gate fewer hours away. Bahamut810
Ash wouldent elaborate on why he picked, but he would agree with lowering the time between openings.
Expendable
I'm not sure quite how you're charging up the gate but it should be easier to recharge it faster than extend how long it's open. You might also want to increase security to the room.

The way I'm picturing it would require a bit of technobabble (not the Voyager kind), so suffice to say that the work required is about the same. You might also want to increase security to the room. The security already present (beyond the 6" thick door) is concealed on purpose. Obvious security makes people sneaky; unobvious security either makes them confident or paranoid. BlueNinja
Well, I think a nearly unanimous vote is close enough. ::biggrin
