  1. (CLICK HERE FOR OPENING CRAWL) Consciousness returned slowly, gradually breaking through the mental fog just enough to become aware of the environment. Hard, unrelenting durasteel was cold against the face while a stale, artificially sterile smell hit the nose, which made the bitter taste in the mouth even worse somehow. A steady hum reverberated off of the durasteel walls which almost became maddening in the relative silence of the rest of the room if one focused on it. With pained winces eyes slowly dared to crack open only to be greeted by the harsh light when made them snap shut again until they dared to try and blink open again, if only the slightest bit. The light made the dull throb of a headache flare up into a stabbing pain which faded far more slowly than desired. The desire to get up off the floor was met with non-compliance as limbs refused commands, or moved barely, if at all. Still though, enduring the pain eyes did open and it was then that they realized they were in small cells, two to a cell, except for Jan and Arcata who was alone in their own cells. The forth wall of each cell was a forcefield separating the cell from the rest of the room and the lone, human male guard within. The guard rose and walked over to a small intercom. Pressing a button, he leaned closed and spoke, "They're waking up." he said with an unusual accent. "Good." replied a much more tinny voice through the speaker. With tremendous effort, Jan was the first to manage to rise to his feet enough to stagger to the metal slab bench that could only laughably be called a bed. He sat down on it with no grace at all and leaned his head back against the wall, trying to take stock of the situation. In the rest of the cells the others did similar, though many barely crawled to the bench in their cells as their limbs were slow to respond and resisting commands, though gradually control of their limbs was returning. The outer room door swished open and in walked a well dressed human male, seemingly nobility, along with a woman dressed in red with several cybernetic limbs who stood beside him. Following them two more beings stepped through the door, clad in unmistakable white and black... Imperial Stormtroopers, each one cradling their blaster cabines. They took up positions flanking the pair before them as the man approached the cells. "You know, I am not sure if I should be impressed with you, or disappointed in my own security, as were it not for my 'friends' here, a reward for continued loyalty to the Empire that you were not expecting, you might have actually managed to collect on that bounty." he sneered as he walked down the hall in front of the cells with his hands behind his back and his posture taut with the air of nobility. "Now though, instead of you collecting the bounty on my head, I shall be collecting bounties on your own." he taunted and stopped in front of Arcata's cell. "The Empire does not suffer traitors." he sighed, shaking his head as he looked her over with various unsavory thoughts running through his head. "Such a pity." he said with a shrug he continued walking down the line of cells, looking over his younger captives. "And you whelps. I am sure they will be quite pleased to have you handed over as well." he commented as he rubbed his chin. "You will be made to serve the Empire, or you will perish, I am sure." he added. The man shrugged again and pivoted on a heel to walk back along the line of cells as she spoke to his captives. "You were foolish for ever coming after me, and now that error in judgement will cost you dearly." he said, his voice dripping with smugness and scorn. "I am not totally without mercy though, so I will give you a chance to apologize and beg for your lives." he offers as he backs away from the wall of cells so as to be able to look at any who approach the forcefields. 2. Click here if you want a true opening crawl ENEMIES OF THE EMPIRE "UNEXPECTED ALLIES" A plague has broken out on Finnare, an agricultural planet in the Outer Rim. The Endless Odyssey, a chartered transport, races back from the Dyvixx system on a mission of mercy with the necessary medicines to combat the plague. The simple trip, interrupted by an unexpected encounter with Imperial Customs, had the Endless Odyssey being detained for a full surprise inspection in the docking bay inside the Customs Frigate. What should have been a routine run-in with the Empire was anything but, when unbeknownst to the crew, the lone passenger turned out to be a Jedi who's mere presence has ensured that the entire crew was placed under Imperial arrest... The door to the brig opened and out stepped an older Imperial officer, flanked by a Stormtrooper, as he approached the desk. "Captain Mar?" the brig officer asked curiously. "I am here to collect the new prisoners for the transfer." the older officer explained with a calm authority to his voice. "Transfer? I was not informed of this. I will have to check it out." the brig officer stated. "I am collecting them by order of Inquisitor Cynis. I am to rendezvous with her to hand over the prisoners so that this ship can stay on patrol. Where there is one Jedi, there may be more. And it seems she is rather eager to meet this 'Jedi'." Captain Mar explained before adding, "But by all means, contact her and verify. I am sure the Inquisitor will enjoy having her orders questioned." "Well, if it is by order of an Inquisitor. I... I am sure it still in subspace. No reason to hold up her transfer." the brig officer said with a hint of a nervous smile. "Very well then." Captain Mar responded and turned to head down the cell may, motioning for the Stormtrooper to follow. The first cell opened and he stepped in with the Stormtrooper behind him causing Zaylee to swing her legs off the bench and too the floor. "Please. I did not know she was Jedi. I thought she was just a charter to collect medical supplies. I'm a simple cargo hauler. This is just a big misunderstanding." Zaylee pleaded, flashing her big, teal eyes at the older officer. "That will be for the Inquisitor to determine." Captain Mar said as he held out the opened binder, waiting Zaylee to place her wrists within them. "Inquisitor?!" Zaylee exclaimed, looking up at the man with wide eyes. Captain Mar gave Zaylee a quick wink as a small smile could be seem creeping out from under his thick mustache. The gesture caught Zaylee off guard, giving her a moments pause as she felt strangely comforted. "Fine." she relented and placed her wrists in the binders, which the officer closed, but seemed to forget to lock. Catching on and feeling more secure now, Zaylee played along, "This is just a big misunderstanding though." she sighed. Kel could hear the footsteps in the hall and pushed on the small wall plate behind the outside controls that he had been working at prying off. He then moved to the bench and pulled his legs up with his back to the door, pretending to sleep a moment before the cell door slide open. "Huuhh?" he murmured and turned to look at the door to see the Imperial officer stepping in while out in the hall beyond stood a Stormtrooper along with a bound Zaylee. The officer opened the binders and held them out, a gesture that Kel was familiar with since his youth. Casually he placed his wrists within the binders which were then closed, but not locked, around his wrists. Kel looked down at the binders and then up to the officer who winked and then to Zaylee over his shoulder, who gave a slow, small nod to her crew mate. Kel nodded in return and played along, walking out of the cell and falling in line behind Zaylee as they walked to the last cell. The door opened to reveal Kay kneeling on the floor with her eyes closed and hands, held together by the binders, resting in her lap. After a moment her eyes opened and she rose to her feet in a single, smooth motion. "So you are the 'Jedi', hm?" the officer asked from behind his mustache as he stepped into the cell and looked her over. "You do not seem that impressive to me." he added and grasped the binders, lifting them up to inspect them. In the hallway Zaylee and Kel watched and met eyes with Kay, giving her a small nod as the officer unlocked, though did not remove the binders. The gesture caught Kay's attention who looked at the officer curiously, only to have her gaze met with a wink. "Now move along. We do not want to keep Inquisitor Cynis waiting." the officer said, leading the prisoners out of the brig, and collecting a box with their personal effects on the way, with the Stormtrooper following behind. 'Cynis...' Kay thought, feeling like she had heard the name long ago, but uncertain of where exactly.... Once in the turbolift the officer turned to the tree prisoners and dropped his calm, authoritative demeanor for a moment. "I am Captain Mar and we are breaking you out. I managed to get the medical supplies and things moved to my ship. With luck, we can make a clean escape and still get those meds to Finnare before they realize what happened." he explained quickly. "Sorry, but leaving in your ship would draw too much attention." he said to Zaylee with what seems to be sincere sympathy. "And do not worry, Hiroki here is one of us." he said, motioning to the Stormtrooper who nodded. "The rest are on board, prepping the ship. When the door opens, just follow me and keep acting like prisoners until we are safe on the ship." The turbolift doors open revealing the docking bay with the Endless Odyssey at the near side of the bay, the ship obviously of Mon Calamari design. Beyond the Odyssey, at the far side of the bay, sits an Imperial Customs Guardian Light Cruiser. At a steady pace the 'prisoners' are led across the bay in single file to the ramp of the bulky Imperial ship, a sharp contrast to the grace and smooth lines of Endless Odyssey. With a sigh and a heavy heart Zaylee looked back at her ship as she walked up the ramp, fearing she may never see her ship... her home... ever again. Imperial Customs Guardian-class light cruiser (stats in spoiler) Once on board Captain Mar opens the box and begins handing back the blasters and personal effects, allowing the items to be replaced with the removed binders. The last item he withdraws from the box is the lightsaber. He holds it in his hand, looking at it thoughtfully for a moment. "I wasn't sure I would ever see one of these again." he said as he handed the ancient weapon to Kay. "I served along side some Jedi in the Clone Wars, just so you know. I found the Emperor's story about the attempted coup rather hard to believe because of it." he added. After a short walk down the corridor they arrived at the bridge. It was larger than the Odyssey's, allowing for the load to be shared among several crew and had a cold, practical design common to Sienar Fleet Systems. Sitting at one of the consoles was another Imperial Officer, a much smaller, rather thin man looking to be no more than twenty years old. "The preflight check is complete, sir. We are ready to depart at your leisure." the young man said before he turned to look at the Captain and his guests. "Hello ladies, oh, and gentleman. Welcome aboard. If you would be so kind as to stay out of sight until we exit the bay, we should be on our way directly." he greeted as Captain Mar walked past and took his seat on the bridge. "Control, this is Customs Cruiser IC-532 requesting permission to depart." Captain Marr announced into the comm. "Uhhh.. IC-532, we do not seem to have you listed for departure at the moment." a voice replied. "We are on a goodwill mission to Finnare. You can check with the Commander." Captain Mar calmly replied. "Hold IC-532." the voice stated. With the comm off, Captain Mar spoke over his shoulder, "I convinced the Commander that having the Empire deliver the medications would help with goodwill in the sector. He was going to come along to do so personally, but I suggested that he be here to receive the Inquisitor and I could play a holo-message from him instead." "IC-532, you are cleared for departure." the voice finally answered, relieve the growing tension on the bridge. "Affirmative. IC-532 out." Captain Mar replied. The ship's engines hummed as it lifted from the deck and slowly drifted forward passing through the force field and into the space beyond.. "Wait IC-532. Didn't you load prisoners? Where are you taking them? IC-532, you are to return immediately." the voice commanded over the comm. "Looks like the caught on." the thin officer said. "Everybody grab a hold of something!" Captain Mar exclaimed and a moment later the ship took a hard dive and turned to skim the underbelly of frigate toward the engines. "They have no tractor beams to the rear, but the guard fighters are sure to be incoming. Angle the deflector shields double rear. And Captain Zanne, take the controls if you would while I calculate the jump to Finnare." Captain Mar directed as he moved over to the NavComputer. "Even if we make the the jump to hyperspace, they will expect us to be heading to Finnare. So if we are going to deliver these medical supplies, then we need to beat them there and we might have to fight our way out." the thin officer said as he raised and adjusted the shields. "So the rest of you get to the laser cannons. There are two forward and two turrets. TIEs should be incoming any minute now.." Captain Mar explained.

The small fleet of scout ships were sold at auction to private owners, by which time only a few thousand such vessels had been produced. As a scout ship, the cargo bay was intend to store survey equipment, supplies and ground vehicles, but it also makes the ship a serviceable freighter when pressed into such a role, which most of the new owners did. Like most Mon Calamari designs, each individual ship is slightly different, crafted as unique works of art rather than mass-produced, identical ships. The craft is equipped with different types of landing gear that can be deployed as needed: a landing claw ( to stabilize the ship when docking with another vessel or an asteroid), standard landing gear and the ship can land/float on water. Like many Mon Calamari vessels, the ship is also submersible (maximum depth 1,000 meters). In addition, a significant amount of credits has been spent to heavily modify this ship from it's stock configuration; - The ship's displays have all been converted from the visual spectrum of the Mon Calamari to the galactic standard. - The ship is equipped with a code masker. - - The code masker has one alternate transponder code programmed, "The Typhoon Star". - The both hyperdrives have been replaced with faster models. - - The primary hyperdrive has been upgraded. - The engines and handling have been heavily upgraded. - The shield generators and backup shield generators have been upgraded. - Significant weapon systems have been added (laser cannon, ion cannon, proton torpedo launcher). - - The added weapons are all visually concealed until in use and sensor baffled, visually disguising them effectively hiding them from all but the best sensor operators. - The ship has two cabins with two bunks each, four individual crew cabins, and a single, slightly larger cabin (likely for the captain) - The ship was built with an additional three cabins (with two bunks each), but modifications have claimed the space; - - The first cabin was converted into small machine shop/workshop (+1D+2 to Repair skills). In addition it contains two repair droids. - - A second cabin was sacrificed to expand the sick bay, complete with a bacta tank. (+2D to First Aid. The bacta tank requires the Medicine advanced skill to use). - - The third cabin has been replaced with a supplemental energizer, to handle the considerable additional power draw of the ship's added weapons, shields and upgrades. Alternately, it allows the ship to 'run silent' for up to an hour and can provide emergency power and life support. - The cargo bay, located in the rear of the ship, has had one quarter of the space permanently divided off and converted into a spacious and luxurious passenger suite capable of carrying up to four passengers in comfort well beyond that normally offered by a ship of this type. - A cargo skiff and speeder bike are secured in the cargo bay.
  5. Captain Mar - - - NPC - - - Name: Addo Mar Occupation: Former Imperial Customs Captain Legal Status: Wanted by the Empire Homeworld: Ballor Prime Species: Human Gender: Male Height: 5'9" (175.25 cm) Weight: 178.5 lbs (81 kg) Hair Color: Gray Eye Color: Brown Skin Color: Fair Apparent Age: Late fifties to early sixties Appearance: Captain Mar is an older man, with the somewhat heavy build and broad shoulders common to the people of Ballor Prime. His gray hair is worn rather short and a thick mustache hides his upper lip. Despite his age, his eyes have a glimmer of mirth and cleverness to them at times. Personality: Easy going and calm, but authoritative when he needs to be. He has a somewhat fatherly (or grandfatherly) bearing and at least a hint of charisma. Due to his decades in Republic and then Imperial Customs, he has seen a great many things and is rarely caught off guard. Quick thinking. Background: Captain Mar served in Republic Customs and then Imperial Customs when the Empire came to power. He spoke up to his superiors when he began to see the shift in policy and treatment of spacers at the hands of the Empire, but quickly learned to quite down as some of his former Republic Customs colleagues began to vanish after speaking out similarly. Over roughly three decades in Customs Mar has risen through the ranks, but found the ceiling due to damage he done to his career by speaking out, never being promoted any higher than Captain of a Imperial Customs Guardian Light Cruiser. He remained in Customs though, trying to make what small difference he could and continued conducting his duties in the same manner and respect that he always had while attempting to pass it along to the next wave of Customs officers. It was in so doing that he met Talmod "Tal" Thane, a young ensign that took what Mar had to say to heart and took the young ensign under his wing. Finally word reached Mar of a Jedi taken into custody on a Customs Frigate and in a few scant minutes Mar gathered up the few others he knew had grown disenchanted with the Empire and hatched a plan to free the Jedi and the crew that was being held for transporting her. Making his escape with the Jedi, the crew that was guilty by association and a handful of Imperials, Mar became a wanted man and set out to make some difference in the galaxy.
  6. Okay, the first space combat. Woo! The defensive stats for the ship.. Maneuverability: 1D Space: 9 Atmosphere: 400; 1,150 kmh Hull: 5D Shields: 2D Maneuverability adds to the pilot's Space Transports (or Mechanical) rolls, including dodges. Space is how many units of distance a ship may move in a single Move Action. A pilot may taken no more than 4 Move Actions in a single round. Note: The length of a space 'unit' is not really specified, but all ship movements, sensors and weapons and so on use the exact same space 'unit', regardless of scale. Atmosphere is how fast the ship can move while in a typical planet's atmosphere. (Not that relevant right now) Hull is used to resist damage. Shields can be divided among arcs. Any attack coming from an arc protected by a shield adds the number of Shield D in that arc to the Hull roll to resist damage. Considering you are being chased and that the TIEs are not probably not dumb enough to attack from the front (where the ship has more firepower), the Captain had all of the shields angled to the rear for the most protection (hopefully). Supposing Zaylee stays on the bridge to fly the ship, that leaves the other four PCs to man the four laser cannons (2 forward and 2 turrets). In combat there are 4 arcs: right, left, forward and rear. Turrets have a 360 degree arc, but at still somewhat limited by placement, but it usually not that big of a factor. (A dorsal/top turret cannot shoot a target under the ship, for example.) Here the weapon stats again.. Laser Cannons Fire Arc: 2 front, 2 turret Crew: 1 Skill: Starship gunnery Fire Control: 2D+2 Space Range: 1-3/12/25 Atmosphere Range: 100-300/1.2/2.5 km Damage: 5D Starship Gunnery is a Mechanical skill. If you do not have the skill, then you can use your Mechanical Attribute. Fire Control adds to your Starship Gunnery (or Mechanical) roll. Range is broken down into short, medium and long ranges. The difficulty to hit is based on range or the target's dodge roll and modified by terrain and other factors (like scale). Assuming the target is of the same scale (starfighters and transports are both Starfighter scale)... Short range = Easy difficulty Medium range = Moderate difficulty Lomg range = Difficult difficulty You can shoot more than once in a round by declaring multiple actions. Each action after the 1st incurs a cumulative -1D penalty to ALL actions you take that round. So shooting 3 times in one round would be a -2D penality to all 3 shots. The forward cannons can only shoot at targets in the forward arc (most likely when a TIE fighter passes the ship on a strafing run), while turrets are 360 degrees of fire. So you all need to decide who is manning what or doing other actions. You can all post in the main thread as well (covering previous reactions or current dialogue or whatever).
  7. Who would be interested in a Star Wars game? Chosen mentioned some time back about running 'experimental' games. Games where we try out a system or idea to see if the interest will be worth continued effort. Let's face it, we need some Star Wars on this site! So, if there is interest I'd be needing 3-4 players and a few questions answered: 1. Which system would you prefer? d20 or D6 (D6 is more 'real' and in my opinion the better system, but I have almost all the d20 books and can run Sagas as well (although I think it sucks)) 2. Which Era of play would you prefer? (I prefer post-Legacy, about 30-50 years after. All the iconic characters are dead and gone and the spotlight is solely on the PCs and their exploits. I'll run any era you prefer, even bitch slapping canon where we go the 'what if' route.) 3. Style and Rating of play? Lucas and all PG-13ish or dark, gritty and NC-17ish. (I prefer dark, gritty and NC-17ish. It's easier to hate a slaver when the PCs see the real pain they bring to people aboard their ships. It's easier to fear the Dark Side of the Force when you are able to grasp just how sadistic the Sith really are. It's easier to hate the evil guys when you don't come home and see two smoldering corpses... they hold you there and make you watch as they light your family on fire.) Don't let my preferences sway you. Be honest and pick what you'd like. I have all the d20 stuff, even Sagas and I have the D6 stuff as well. I'm flexible and really am just interested in giving this a shot with whatever will be, for you the players, the most enjoyable. Disclaimer: You guys all know my schedule sucks. This means I'm willing to try and run something, despite my time being short. That's why I want to run this as an experiment, to see how it goes. The more effort we make into making this work, the more fun we'll have. So, discuss.
  8. [Joram and Company] Within their ship the Jedi sat patiently, formulating a strategy together that they could all agree on for their next move. Joram and his entourage entered silently but it came as no surprise when the assembled Jedi all raised their heads in unison at their approach. “Padawan Joram, hello.” Master Imei said in the deep tone of his native Ithorian language. The wise old Ithorian was about s optimistic as one could get and his faith in the Force was well known. “How is it we can we assist you?” He asked slowly and with the tone that told them that the old man never spoke any faster than was needed to have his words heard. “And you have brought company, greetings friends. Please, sit.” The old Ithorian was as slow as molasses on Hoth as he gestured for them to sit in the few empty seats. Joram couldn’t help but notice Master Udo-Mal’s empty seat and a lump grew in his throat. “I know Padawan Joram,” Master Imei offered calmly. “I already miss him too, but let us not focus on what we have lost but instead all he has given us.” “What can we do for you Joram?” Master Masu-ka, Joram’s appointed master, spoke up. Although generally free spirited with an unlimited supply of sarcasm and self-confidence, the beautiful twi’lek woman’s expression carried the same heavy weight of loss and mourning that all the masters wore, except Icei Avi who remained unphased by the events, insisting on pushing forward and resolving the tasks at hand. The s’kytri simply looked upon the arrivals with a glare of scrutiny, like they were interrupting something. [Dari] “Actually Lady Telena, I do have something for you.” Jax spoke calmly but his tones and pauses told her that he was thinking, working, and talking all at once. “It’s not from the base, but I have a faint ion trail, only several minutes old. It’s on the far end of the jungle, opposite where the Sith shuttles landed. The ships gone now, but it’s vector looks like it was enroute to Daragon’s Trail, which doesn’t surprise me I guess, considering it leads to Korriban. That help you any?” Click to reveal.. Sound off everyone. If I missed you it’s because I have no idea what your PC upto at the moment. It’s been a few months, so help me in resetting the scenes…
  9. The ancient stone chamber was shaped like a giant cog laying flat on its side. Within each of the cogs ‘teeth’ rested a throne and upon those thrones sat carved warriors of old; ancient warriors, powerful warriors, warriors who had earned their immortality in stone through blood, fire, and sacrifice, ever immortal, ever vigilant. This day their gaze fell upon warriors just like them. The hum of lightsabers echoed within the chamber as the static clash of parry and dodge impressed the unmoving spectators. Blue struck green in a vibrant lightshow of spins and acrobatics that defied conventional laws of physics. The warriors, one male and one female moved quietly as they crossed one foot over the other in a quiet dance that slowly led them in a circle, waiting for their opponent to strike. The man was tall and slender to the point of being gaunt, but moved with the type of agile grace that a Twi'Lek dancer would kill to acquire and he kept his dark hair pulled back in a pony tail. Each of his attacks was like the striking of a snake, swift, deadly and accurate. The woman was bronze skinned with a calm demeanor and unshakeable resolve. For every attack he launched she was ready to deflect it but the stale mate of their conflict was getting them nowhere. He launched an attack and she parried it with ease. Taking advantage of the opportunity he spun around behind her and elbowed her in the spine, staggering her forward and off balance. He swung bout bringing his blue saber in a high arc and just as she spun about to face him, still staggering, she had her emerald blade there to parry it. With her arms high to parry the attack she had no defenses for the foot that found it’s way to her chest. Again she staggered back several steps as her opponent used the kick to launch himself into a backward flip. He didn’t pause. The moment he landed he dashed and leapt at her, seizing the moment. He smirked as he landed, as she swiftly slid to the side, calling on the force she centered on herself pulled herself swiftly to the side, safely away from his strike and buying herself enough time to regain her footing. “That’s cheating.” He grinned and said calmly. She smirked back while raising her green lightsaber up in a dueling stance. “There is no ‘cheating’, there is only improvisation.” Her eyes glossed over and the focus she possessed grew even more intense as the Force flowed through her offering her keen fighting abilities that border lined on precognition. They were a perfect fighting duo, one covered the weaknesses of the other and when they sparred like this it offered them the opportunity to test their ever-growing abilities against their weaknesses, namely, each other. “Round two then?” He smiled with a sweeping bow, knowing that her impressive defense just got even more difficult to breech. “Bring it.” She replied, knowing that now he’d pullout all the stops and quit toying with her, making his acrobatic attacks even more difficult to defend against. Silently the warriors of old gazed upon the warriors of today. Round two had begun and thus far the spectators were pleased with the performance… Click to reveal.. Have at it for a few posts you two. No rolls, just free form, have fun.

  12. [Listen While You Read, It's Worth It] It is a dark time for the Galaxy. The New Sith Empire has held control of the galaxy for nearly twelve decades and shows no signs of having its power contested. Life has continued on and for most, the rule of the Sith is all they know. The law is iron-clad and the punishments for violating them are severe, but they are The Sith, and must be obeyed. The Jedi Order was scattered long ago, its reputation damaged nearly beyond by the agents of the Sith. Although they fought valiantly the Order could not stand up to the sheer power and numbers of the New Sith Order. Taken by surprise, and without the backing of the quickly failing Republic, their numbers dwindled until there was nothing left. Those who remained and openly faught were purged by Emperor Malus's most feared Sith, The Hand, two incredibly powerful dark warriors who answer only to him. Those Jedi who did not fight, simply faded away into obscurity and Emperor Malus saw no reason to pursue them; the greatest insult one can make to an enemy is to ignore them. There are some archivists and historians who learned of a time when it was not always as it is today. A time of peace and prosperity. A time when evil and tyranny were held in check by brave men and women of all species and walks of life. A time when they stood strong, allied by hope, freedom and The Force. Worlds and people now try to stand united against a dark entity. Scoundrels and nobles. Soldiers and thugs. Officers and scum, all stand together, united by the common thread that all of them have had everything, at some point, taken from them by the Sith. Friends, loved ones, property or even perhaps just the simply right to ply their trade, whatever it may be. A new Galactic Alliance has taken root in the distant Outter Rim world of Yavin IV in the charred, broken husk of the ancient Massassi Temple, the once proud home of the New Jedi Order... [obligatory pan down to a planet] On the border of the Ersham Ridge within the majestic halls of the Great Massassi Temple, hundreds of men and woman of all species stood gathered in the massive assembly hall. The clamor of several dozen different languages spoken by men and woman from all manner of worlds and all walks of life. Some were rich and intelligent nobles from the civilized Core Worlds, others were workers and managers of the Corporate Sector and along with them were just moisture farmers or dewback herders from here within the Outer Rim systems. From far and wide they'd all come to hear the words of Ambassador Zon Telana, whose own planet had recently suffered a terrible loss to hundreds of centuries worth of culture. With the confidence borne of a man of passion and vision he stood tall and proud at the podium, a buoy of hope in a sea of shattered lives. Handsome, but well into his years, the graying ambassador was nonetheless excited and vibrant to look upon those gathered and be thankful that so many had chosen to answer his call. Not far behind him, his lovely daughter (and well sought after by noble suitors), Dari, did her best to remain composed. Hiding her own excitement for the success of her fathers efforts was difficult since she and he had recently completed a three year tour of the galaxy, visiting worlds that had suffered greatly from the Sith infighting or were punished for violating some half-baked or imagined law. She'd seen the horrors an Imperial orbital bombardment could cause first hand and long ago decided that the people must be freed from the oppression of the Sith and their Empire. "Please." Ambassador Telana began. "Everyone please, if we may begin." Over the course of several moments the crowd turned on each other, looking about and attempting to silence their neighbors. When the hush fell over the crowd it was almost eerie how silent it became. He didn't need anything to enhance his voice, the natural acoustics of the Massassi architecture did a fine job. "We all know why we're are here this evening, here on this out of the way world in this ruined bastion of hope and peace! We are here because the Empire has pushed us back to the point where we have no place left to go! They take our loved ones from us, they take our homes, our worlds, our very freedom to choose how we wish to live our lives! They destroy all that they touch with no regard to it's value to another!" They all nodded at once it seemed and Dari could not help but straighten her back a bit, prideful to call the man at the podium 'father'. "And I'm here to tell you friends: I'm tired of it. I'll not lie to anyone here, with all our wonderful technology and 'civilization' we've never really had 'peace' down to a science. We've shared our differences, we've shared our wars but always, under the watchful eye of the Republic, we never let our disputes infringe upon the rights of others not related to our problems or disagreements. I'll be the first to admit to all in this room, that while I may not agree with you, I still respect you enough to allow you to live your life in peace." He leaned on the podium and gazed out at the crowd. "And that's what I'm asking for here tonight: respect. The Empire does not respect us or our people! They respect only credits, power, and fear! Do you enjoy living in fear?" "No!" The powerful cry in unison reverberated the walls with such force that Dari could feel the vibration crawl up the back of the gown she wore sending an exhilarating chill up her spine. "Then I implore you," His tone grew soft, almost like a hushed whisper that still carried over the room, a pleading voice that begged for those assembled to understand his plight. "Rise up with us, help forge a new a Galactic Alliance with me and my allies. Help us rebel against the evil and tyranny that plagues our galaxy, our worlds, our homes. I understand that what I ask this evening is a great sacrifice from all of you, but the real evil in this galaxy is when the good men and women who live within it simply stand by and do nothing." He let his words hang there for the assembled to consider. Murmurs rose up in the crowd as a sea of doubt and confusion took form. It was true, what the Ambassador was asking was a lot. People still remembered Alderaan and knew that the One Sith were not below repeating such an atrocity again to quell an uprising of rebels within their territories. "What you ask for is war!" A voice finally spoke up. "Look around you Ambassador, we're not soldiers. We don't have the resources or the equipment to take on the Empire... and then... there's the Sith. What can a blaster do against an Acolyte's lightsaber? We've all seen those red blades and know that even one of their warriors can single handedly wipe out tens if not hundreds of troops." "Then we fight fire," Ambassador Telana's reply was so calm and so reserved it was as if he knew and had already prepared for this argument. "With fire. We'll summon the aid of the Jedi Order, the galaxy's peace keepers." Dari's brow quirked a bit. She'd been privy to her fathers plans, all of them accept that one, it seemed. The Jedi Order? Was he even capable of that? "That's absurd!, the Jedi are all dead!" A human man, closer to the front of the stage called out. "You ask the impossible Ambassador!" "Impossibilities are merely things of which we have not learned," A voice rose up over all others and people looked around for its source. Slowly from the shadows of the entrance of the great hall in wandered eight men and women cloaked in the now forgotten robes of the Jedi Order. Four men and four woman of various species, each with the traditional lightsaber attached to their side walked until they were halfway to the podium and in the center of the crowd. The eldest among them, an aging Cerean man who kept his balance with a cane, finished his sentence. "Or which we do not wish to happen." "Ladies and gentleman of the galaxy," Ambassador Telama outstretched a hand of introduction. Dari's jaw about hit the floor. He'd done it! He'd actually found and acquired the aide of the Jedi Order! He'd mentioned it in passing, but she never thought he was actually serious. "Jedi Master, Sen Udo-Mal." The crowd hadn't seen that one coming, and quickly a batch of confusion set in as they wondered whether to accept them or lynch them, considering their now rather poor reputation. "The Jedi Order stands ready to battle in defense of this galaxy and its people." Master Udo-Mal spoke up. He turned about and his fellow Jedi stood around him in silence, allowing him his words. "We could discuss the past. We could debate all night about what crimes brought the Jedi Order down in flames against the Empire decades ago, but the past is done and can not be changed. The future is what we look towards now, always changing it is, and if there is to be hope, then we must stand together." He looked to the Ambassador. "The Order stands ready to once again act as this galaxy's protectors and keepers of the peace. We've been gone too long, and there is much to be done." The room burst alive with conversation. The reemergence of the Jedi into the fold of galactic affairs was big, real big and everyone seemed to retire to their respective corners to debate this incredible turn of events. Ambassador Telama turned to Dari and smiled. "It wasn't easy sweetie, but I found them. I wanted to surprise you." Click to reveal.. All PCs are present. Dari - You are on the stage with your father, the Ambassador. You have no equipment with you aside from a noble lady's gown and an expensive hair style. Layel - You are somewhere in the crowd. R2-FX - You as well are somewhere in the crowd. Akira - You are with the assembled Jedi in the center of the assembly hall. Joram - You are beside Akira, as Padawans you tend to stick together. Use this as an opportunity to flex some RP muscle and reply with your reactions to the situations. A final decision has not been made yet by the people, diplomacy might be a good way to help gain some favor for the Rebellion cause. Intimidation might be a good way to make some of those people to suck it up and quit bitching about the problems of the galaxy and start working to fix them. If you have questions, ask in the OOC thread. Get going people... you're being graded.
  13. Before becoming full fledged Jedi, all Jedi PCs must pass their Jedi Trials. Failure to pass will prevent you from taking any more levels with the Jedi classes and you'll have to step down from the Jedi Order. The biggest problem with doing a post describing what you'll need to succeed is that people tend to meta-game. Thus, instead of giving you all your trials at once your PCs will be graded (on a curve) by your Masters from the end of Chapter 1 on out. Your actions in Chapter 1 do not affect the overall grading system. For ease of reference so none of you are blindsided, I'll provide you with an adequate list of what your Masters are looking for: 1. Facility with the Force. 2. Knowledge of the Jedi Code. 3. Lightsaber construction 4. Lightsaber proficiency. 5. Self-Defense Capability. 6. Sound Judgment.
  14. This is the PC Character Sheet thread. There are a few things I need to point out: 1. All characters will be reformatted into the same style 'stat-block' once they are posted for easy reading and reference. No one seems able to agree on a universal method of posting characters and this prevents the thread from looking sloppy. It also assists us/me in knowing exactly where to look on each sheet to reference information I might need. 2. While your character remains your intellectual property, I reserve the right to edit sheets as needed by the changing state of play. I always try and make it a note to inform others when I've edited a sheet. 3. You are responsible for keeping your sheet up to date, not me. If you continuously fail to update and your PC is still 5th Level after others have long since become 8th Level, that's your problem and no one else. You can not suddenly remember to 'Level Up' your PC in the middle of a mission or combat or any other time, without explicit permission from me. That said, post your approved character below.
  15. The Galactic Alliance Zon Telana, Ambassador to Chandrila (Int 15, Wis 17) (Major NPC) A human Chandrilian noble and Dari Telana's foster father. Preferring not to involve himself in the affairs of the Galactic Alliance and The Sith Empire, Zon had been able to live a life of relative neutrality spending their time mostly undoing the damage caused by the violent rulers of the galaxy. Together the two had managed to keep a low profile until a furious Imperial Governor decided to show Chandrila an example of his power by laying waste to the Hanna Institute of Antiquities. 25,000 years of lost cultures and irreplaceable articles of history and knowledge were gone a shower of orbital laser fire. It wasn't long after, 'Ambassador' Telana of Chadnrila made contact with the Galactic Alliance and devoted his time and energy to seeing the Sith removed from power. He a wise and calm man who rarely acts without first knowing all the facts. His polite and serene demeanor put most who meet of balance as his emotions are hard to read. His concerns seems to always be for the galaxy as a whole, never just his own people which has made him an incredibly well respected individual.
  16. Here, we will discuss changes to the rules that have been made. Revised Star Wars was spotty (released prior to D&D 3.5) on a few skills and Feats and a few Class issues. Changing rules is sort of a pain in the butt at times but to smooth the transition here's how it's going to work: 1. The section will be broken down into sections. Species, Classes, Skills, and Feats, etc. For ease of reference, the same way they're located in the Core Book. 2. Any changes that affect your PC I will take care of the transition for you if you prefer. 3. Changes will usually be discussed, or opened for discussion, not debate, argument, or flame wars. 4. Do not post here. This is not a discussion thread. If you have topics you'd like to discuss please take them to the OOC thread and we'll discuss them there.

A time when evil and tyranny were held in check by brave men and women of all species and walks of life. A time when they stood strong, allied by hope, freedom and The Force. A new Galactic Alliance has taken root in the distant Outter Rim world of Yavin V in the charred, broken husk of the ancient Massassi Temple, the once proud home of the New Jedi Order... The Rise of Darth Krayt Darth Krayt, formerly Jedi Knight A'Sharad Hett, was the founder and leader of this new generation of Sith Lords. A witness to a galaxy deeply wounded by the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the Yuuzhan Vong War, A'Sharad came to believe that the galaxy was fractured and weak, and that a single will was needed to make it whole and strong again. Equipped with knowledge gained from Sith holocrons found on the ancient Sith burial world of Korriban and renaming himself Darth Krayt after the fierce creature of his homeworld, he reestablished the order under his leadership and pledged to reunify the galaxy according to the will of the Sith. Krayt believed that the Sith needed to grow in strength over the decades, while the Jedi Order would become increasingly weakened and compromised by their lack of ruthlessness. When the balance of power had shifted sufficiently, the Sith would strike. Krayt's Order was founded before 30 ABY. Its agents, including Lomi Plo and Welk, were active during the Yuuzhan Vong War, and by 40 ABY, they numbered more than thirty. The new Sith were not connected with Lumiya and her plans to remake Jacen Solo, which led to him becoming Darth Caedus in 40 ABY. Vergere encountered Hett in Yuuzhan Vong captivity prior to the Yuuzhan Vong War, and had philosophical discussions with him, ultimately leaving him behind as they did not see eye to eye on certain matters. Lumiya apparently encountered him some time during the early years of the Yuuzhan Vong War, but opted to actively reject his vision for the Sith. Lumiya and Vergere were both unwilling to discard the Rule of Two and were not compatible with Krayt's Order. According to the Sith on Korriban in 40 ABY, it was believed that Luke Skywalker's Jedi would also grow in strength with time, frustrating the new Sith Order's long-term plan. Therefore they took advantage of Solo's fall to the dark side, in order to pre-empt the Jedi, and effectively used him to deflect attention away from themselves. In 41 ABY, with Darth Caedus's death at the end of the Second Galactic Civil War and with his apprentice, Tahiri Veila, redeemed, Lumiya's Sith, the last surviving remnant of the Order of the Sith Lords had perished, along with Darth Bane's Legacy. This was another presumed extinction of the Sith Order, little knowing that the One Sith were hiding on Korriban 11 years earlier. For more than a hundred years, Krayt grew and strengthened the Sith on Korriban, surreptitiously planning to bring its vision of peace and order to the galaxy. While the order grew in secret, Krayt attempted to heal the wounds inflicted upon him by the Vong, going into lengthy stasis-treatments and conferring only with his most trusted servant, the first Darth Wyyrlok. Krayt was now living beyond his standard lifespan and his body began to fail him, his condition kept at bay by healing trances. He estimated that the seeds the Vong had implanted within him would consume him within a decade or two, which fueled his later interest in Cade Skywalker, as he was motivated by a sense that the young Jedi apprentice in exile had once used the Force to revive his comrade from the edge of death. The Rule of One "Power is its own purpose. To share it is to dilute it. You delude yourself, pretender. Your order will yet turn on itself and you."―Darth Bane to Darth Krayt for disobeying the Rule of Two When Darth Krayt founded his new Sith Order, he abolished Darth Bane's Rule of Two, a diktat which commanded that there should be only two Sith at any one time; a master and an apprentice: one to embody the power of the dark side, the other to crave it. Instead, there would be the Rule of One — that One being the Sith Order itself, under which there would be many minions, acolytes/adepts and lords with only one Dark Lord of the Sith. Darth Krayt believed he gave the Sith and their power a purpose, unlike Darth Bane who believed that power was its own purpose. Darth Krayt, creator of the Rule of One, and his One Sith. Under the Rule of One, the followers of Krayt were taught blind obedience and absolute loyalty to the Dark Lord of the Sith, instead of the plotting and infighting of previous Sith organizations. Similarly to the Jedi Order, Sith Masters trained a single apprentice. However, after their training was completed, apprentices were required to slay their Masters as a test of their allegiance to the Dark Lord, just like in the past Sith Order acolytes were required to kill someone to whom they were attached or close to seal their transition to the dark side. Masters who deemed their apprentices ready would allow themselves to be killed, as long as it was on Krayt's orders. The new Sith also mirrored the Jedi in that, while they did rely on passion, hatred and aggression, they did not seek power for themselves alone, but to serve the will of the Dark Lord and impose his order on the galaxy by any means necessary. Instead of reducing the number of Sith to avoid the Order from destroying itself, Krayt altered the Sith philosophy. He claimed he gave power purpose. With the numbers as great as they were before the previous Rule's establishment, it allowed the Sith to match up in numbers with the Jedi. The Sith-Imperial War At last, in the period of 127–130 ABY, the Sith made their presence known openly under Krayt's leadership, and the result of his machinations was the Sith-Imperial War. Krayt's own holocron contained entries relating how he caused the fall of the Galactic Alliance and the restoration of the Empire as the dominant galactic power. Krayt harnessed that hatred to sabotage a Jedi project that was established for entirely altruistic reasons. The original intent of the Ossus Project was to use Yuuzhan Vong terraforming techniques to restore a barren section of the once-devastated Jedi fortress world of Ossus. When the test proved successful, the response was tremendous. Out of a host of applicants, one hundred worlds were selected for the Vong terraforming process. Yuuzhan Vong Shapers, overseen by Jedi escorts, produced incredible results. But Krayt's agents sabotaged the process; soon, the vegetation withered, and bony growths like those once seen on those the Vong had taken as slaves began forming on the skin of the inhabitants. The Jedi immediately suspected sabotage, but could never prove it. It did not matter; the lingering resentment the galaxy felt towards the Vong, even decades after their defeat and exile, did Krayt's work for him, and soon the Vong were accused of trying to restart their genocidal crusade against the galaxy by other means. The results were everything the Dark Lord of the Sith could have hoped for. The Jedi, devoted to the truth above all, defended the Vong and encouraged the Galactic Alliance to support them. The Empire reacted accordingly; members of the Moff Council demanded retribution and, invoking the Treaty of Anaxes, declared war on the Alliance. But in addition to war with the Empire, the Alliance found itself facing dissension from within its own ranks. Worlds that had suffered the most under the Vong now aimed their resentment at the Alliance; many of them refused to support the Alliance and actively sided with the Empire, while others just stood by and watched under the banner of neutrality. So divided, the Alliance was easy to conquer. But Emperor Roan Fel himself was less than enthusiastic; he'd only reluctantly declared war and never threw his full support behind it. He even prevented his Imperial Knights from participating. Because Roan Fel refused to let the Imperial Knights enter the war, the Empire didn't have the strength necessary to counter the Jedi, and so, the Sith joined the conflict. In three years, the Galactic Alliance was defeated and the Empire absorbed all its former holdings, even reclaiming Coruscant as the Imperial throne world. It was a reversal of the galactic order that no one could have foreseen, or believed was possible. But despite the grandeur of this victory, it was but a stepping stone for Krayt.
  18. [OOC Note: This is a collaborative fiction between Brad Olen's player, and me, among others. Because Morgan is my NPC, Hyoseph has asked me to handle her in this fiction. May God be with him.] Morgan Tilly looked soft and feminine, but she'd been a slave before becoming a slave owner, and she'd learned to defend herself. So when the young slave dropped the tray of cosmetics in her hurry to return them, the answering backhand was hard enough to rock her head back. Blood welled up from her lip as the girl cowered. The blood dripped to the floor, and Morgan recoiled from the bleeding slave. "Get that mess cleaned up!" she hissed at the woman, who was holding her split lip. "I don't have time for your clusminess!" Morgan huffed angrily as two slaves hurried to clean the floor and help their comrade. "Good help is hard to buy," the slaver muttered to herself, watching the slaves and seeing which ones she was going to let go soon. She only kept the best for herself, of what she was allowed to keep. Siddo took his cut, but Morgan had long practice of hiding quality right under his nose. A young boy ran into the room. "He's here!" "Calm down, it makes you look silly," Morgan said, straightening her multi-layed robes. "Go and get him." Brad was met at the door by the same young man and shown into a sitting room. The kid couldn't have been more than twelve, but he wore the infamous Tilly mark on his shirt. Clearly a slave, and clearly a personal one. As the boy cleared the doorway, he stepped aside, out of the way, letting Brad see the magnificant room. Morgan was clearly doing well for herself. He could see her sprawled on a lounge, waiting for him without an apparent care in the world. Brad made his way over to her, carrying a rather extravagant bouquet of flowers. They were elegantly trimmed yet bore wicked looking thorns, though not so much that holding them would be a threat. It was an unspoken communication. He didn't have to be loud and belligerent all the time, he was just good at it. He placed the flowers in front of her, their blossoms pointed in her direction. "Good to see you, Morgan." "And you, Brad," she said, smiling and snapping her fingers. A slave retrieved them, holding them for her, hiding a wince when the thorns caught her skin. Morgan smelled the flowers, but her eyes weren't on the blossoms; they were following Brad as he stalked across the room and, lifting her legs and putting them over his own, sat on the divan next to her. "Lovely," she purred. "Miss me?" he asked her, smiling. She returned his smile and crossed her legs, brushing them over his lap. "A little," she said, as if admitting it. Tilting her head so her dark hair fell just so, she asked, "How is little Hana? Broken in yet?" "She's a work in progress, to say the least. She decided during one of her little fits to break a ceramic over my head. Apparently she thought that would put me down." Brad ran his hand over the loveliness that was her leg, not pressing at all, more simply absorbing the feel of her skin. "So now she's in the tender care of someone who has... considerably less finesse than I do. And if I turn a tidy profit in the meantime, I will not complain." Morgan laughed. "Oh, you new owners. You're always so soft at first. Tell me... did she do too much damage to your skull?" "Just a scratch. Fortunately and unfortunately the ceramic was real. She will pay for it, one way or another. Still, I have to admit that I've caught a bit of a bug for the trade. One prospect in particular. She wouldn't stop yammering on about some associate of hers, a Rutian Twi'lek that she seems to think got away and will be sending help 'and that I'm going to get it'." He smiled. "That gave me an idea. I have too much faith in you and your employers to think that they would let one of them just slip away. It would be darkly amusing in my mind to put them next to each other, both in equally hopeless straits. I would indeed 'get it', but not in the means she was thinking." Morgan shook her head. "You think so? Later, later... I never do business on an empty stomach, and this certainly sounds like business." She eased herself upright and slipped her fingers into his hair, exploring his skull. He realized she was looking for the injury as her fingers brushed it. "Of course, pleasure before business, as it should be." He leaned forward a bit, reaching under her arms and putting his hands lightly on her back as he gave her a better view of the back of his head. Morgan parted his hair. "Tsk, tsk," she said softly, looking at the wound. "Never give a slave you don't trust your back. They'll always try to stick something in it. Or break something over it. You get the idea." She sat back. "I could give you a demonstration on how to break her, if you wish." She leaned back and added, "I rather looked forward to breaking her, but you snatched her up so quickly." Brad tried to pout and failed miserably, a crooked smile coming through that. "Sorry to ruin your fun. And your offer, I think I have it covered. Thank you though." "Alright. You know where I am if you decide to let me have a crack at her." Behind her, the boy shivered, just a little. "Now... dinner." She gestured, and a table was rolled out for them. Two slaves attended, looking sharp as they removed lids and lifted a plate, waiting for orders. Brad took his time in selecting his food, barely acknowledging their existence as he put a good meal together. "I have to say, you never cease to amaze with the delicacies. I would ask where you get them but I would not want to threaten any trade secrets." "And with you talking about doing more slaving... it's only a matter of time before you sell one off, and then another," Morgan said, "and then we'll be rivals." She paused in cracking open her shellfish to give him a coy smile that hinted she would find that as much fun as what they would do later tonight. "So, no... you'll have to find your own." "Oh well, so much the better. How am I to be a competent rival if I cannot even find my own shellfish?" He took a small bite of his own food, though he was more focused on the woman with him. "Oh, I don't want competant rivals," Morgan laughed, setting aside her plate. "I'd much rather play with them like a cat plays with a mouse." "Oh I do not believe I would ever be able to match your... impressive talents in this field. Though I can't say I would mind playing with you every once in a while." He smiled roguishly, the same smile that had both gotten him into binds and gotten him out of so many more. "Or being played with. Your call." Morgan grinned at his comment and took the plate from him. Without looking, she handed it to a slave, who deftly caught it and set it on the table. Quietly, they started to remove the table. Dinner, apparently, was over. Still smiling, she straddled his legs, drawing her hands down his torso. "My call? How considerate of you." "Well you know me..." Brad loosely wrapped his arms around her, firmly gripping her ass and pulling her up against him. "Always the gentleman." "I see you were just waiting for dinner to be done," Morgan said, pressing her pelvis against his. She leaned forward, giving him a slow, steady kiss. She was testing him; seeing how much he gave, and how much he took. His response was measured to hers. It was the upside of years of experience with experts. Not low end street whores, please. He was talking high class devotees of the carnal arts. As she kissed him, he opened his mouth slightly and ran his tongue around the seal formed by their lips. It would not be difficult to tell that he was holding back, but that he was more savoring the moment than afraid of the next one. Morgan quickly matched him, while leaning into him and pinning him to the couch with her body. Clearly, she was used to be the leader in matters of pleasure. After a moment, she lifted her head, but kept the pressure on his body. "What did you come here for?" she asked, her face flushed with desire. "Something soft and sweet? Something hard and bitter?" She leaned down to whisper in his ear. "We can do it all." He was willing to let her have her way for a while. Besides, there were worse fates than being pinned beneath a beautiful woman. He ran his hands through her hair and down her back, caressing each curve. Nibbling just a bit on her ear, he whispered back. "I like the third option." Morgan laughed and pulled at the closures on his jacket, pulling it open. His blasters thumped against the cushions as the sides flapped open. Morgan didn't remark as she grabbed a double handful of his shirt and yanked it upward. Brad was very accomodating as she pulled his shirt off. His body wasn't made of solid muscle or anything like that, but it was something to look at and appreciate, that was for certain. As soon as he could see again from his shirt going over his head, he moved forward, kissing her neck just above the collar bone and slowly unwrapping her from her robes. He gave delicate attentions to every inch of skin as it became visible. Morgan's layered robes came off slowly, showing more skin as he stripped her bare. "No fair," she murmured as her hands went to his pants but could make little headway because of their position on the couch and each other. Brad smiled at that. "Fair, what is this word, fair?" He kissed her deeply on the lips, his tongue entwining itself with hers as he came forward, pressing against her until her back was towards the lounge. None of this was helping her quest to access his pants in the slightest. Then again, anything worth having is worth working for. Morgan snaked her hands between them with marvelous dexterity, not at all distracted by her simutanious quest to sample every part of his mouth with her lips and tongue. The ease with which she assessed and opened the closures on his pants reminded him of the rumors that she'd once been a slave used for sexual pleasure herself. And there was no doubt that the fingers that wrapped around him were experienced. He paused for just a moment as she gained access to him. Wearing a small grin as he expanded to fill her hands and then some. "Ah." He pulled her to him, pressing his pelvis against hers in such a way that his pleasure could be felt being pressed against her though he didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to enter her. He had time, why rush? He took her breast in his hand and started lightly thumbing at her nipple, taking no small amount of pleasure in the little gasps that would escape her as his own experience became more than evident. Morgan began her slow, steady stroking, drawing tight noises out of him. Smiling with a lazy arrogance, slipped her other hand up his back, a light, shiver-inducing touch up his spine. Her hands slipped into his hair and drew his head back down for another kiss. Her hand and mouth worked in easy unison, increasing his pleasure - right until she pressed her finger into the cut on the back of his head. It should have hurt more, but with his endorphins already up, it caused a strange surge of pleasure. "I guess I owe your little slave a thank you," she murmured softly. Brad's entire body tensed up and relaxed at once as the pain and pleasure coursed from the wound on his head. He tried to mumble something back, but with that last little bit, his logical mind had checked out for a few seconds and all that could be heard was a low, throaty rumble. Running his free hand up through her hair, he suddenly surged forward and without warning she was on her back, his hand holding her head. She was still being pressed against, though the movement had sent waves of pleasure through her body. He lowered her head down gently, his eyes screaming with lust. He then proceeded to move his mouth down to her other breast, his tongue expertly darting across her nipple, complementing his hand, which had begun gently massaging in tempo with her own strokes. In turn, Morgan mumbled something which sounded like a soft purr of sound to Brad. She slid her hand back down his back, making sure she found and manipulated various pressure points on the way. She took her time, enjoying the rush of their skin moving together. When she reached the peak of the crack of his backside, she shifted to the side and gripped his ass. Her nails bit into his skin, just a bit, as she pulled him harder against her. It trapped her hand for a moment, and she eased off, only to do it again. Her hands worked together expertly. Brad didn't take long at all to aid Morgan in her manipulations. Each time she would pull him against her, he would push forward with his legs, grinding against her with intensity and sending ecstatic blasts through both of their bodies with each movement. His hands would explore her body, his fingers applying pressure to every curve and joint that they came across, almost compelling her muscles to relax in direct contrast to the tension that was coming from down below. After several ecstatic seconds of doing this, he would continue forward, pinning her hand and kissing her neck passionately, the tiniest brushes of teeth sending shivers down her spine. "We should move to a bed," Morgan moaned. "Somewhere to spread out, to really cut loose together. And we can bring in some assistants, if we need them." She moved her hand to press against his chest, pushing him back a little. He rolled back with her push, bringing them both into a sitting position much like the one they had begun this dance in, with Morgan sitting straddling him, only with decidedly less clothing involved. "Where would you suggest? I have an idea, but it would require us to get dressed, temporarily." He looked at her almost appraisingly. "Which I suppose we can, if we must." "Dressed?" she asked, quirking an eyebrow, slipping her body into a comfortable position. She rocked her body against him a little, her desire apparent as she brushed over him. "Whatever did you have in mind, Mr. Olen?" He whispered his idea into her ear, making every single explicit detail sound as if it were the most perfect and artistic idea in history. None of it the sort that would leave a very good impression on the "help". "Of course we can always get to that later...." As she rocked, he slid a hand down her stomach and between her legs. "If you crave satisfaction anywhere near the level your body says you do." He could see the interest in her eyes; she probably didn't get offers like this often, and she certainly couldn't indulge such pleasures with her slaves. Whether she had enough of a taste for it to wish to indulge was another question. After a moment, she nodded.

For the purpose of clarity, the purpose of the subforums to this game are as follows: ExchangeNet: A text-only BBS set up by the Exchange, a semi-legitimate criminal syndicate that spans Galactic Space. Largely used as a sort of classified ads for various shady dealings, the ExchangeNet has also recently been popularized as a means of spreading news and gossip. Posting on the ExchangeNet is only possible from industrialized worlds or from ships that have been properly equipped. Fiction: Post Fiction stories here. Rogues' Gallery: For character profiles. Posting character sheets is not required, though all characters must have a Moderator-approved writeup posted before they may post Fiction or on the ExchangeNet. GM Arena: This OOC board is specifically for any player who wishes to solicit to run an adventure within the established SWU forum. Addition 13 May 2008: Q: How are starting languages being handled? In absentia of any rule I can find detailing the matter, it will be assumed that languages taken at character creation will default to read/write/speak. It's specified that all characters know how to read/write/speak Galactic Basic as well as their Racial languages, and doesn't point out any difference between those and the languages you select at character creation. Addition 23 May 2008: Q: What is the starting year of the game? 1882 BBY. ________________________________________________________ Once the board goes officially live and you see those names listed as Mods under the forum heading, you may consider those Mods officially active. Questions regarding characters should be posted here unless the question is a matter of secrecy for your character. Once characters are completed, PM them to the relevant Moderator for approval.

  21. Well, I have no clue. I know where I am, and I know that the other two are dealing with real life issues whatever they may be. That leaves pretty much me to take the reins until they get back. I don't know when that will be and I haven't spoken with either in some time. So until further notice I'll handle all three aspects of the Star Wars game (in case you hadn't noticed already). I'm not perfect people, and some of you are more difficult than others to deal with, so please, don't get on my nerves. I know where to find a shaved Wookie, and I will use it.
  22. Hana Rexius Last known image of the princess, taken on Corellia after a flight The Noble Hollenhannah Raechael Wyzendorf IV is the youngest child of the Corellia royal family. While this would mean that she would normally have some amount of power, with four older siblings and five older half-siblings, she has little political strength. Her mother, Queen Raechael, is the second wife of King Saemus. It is rumored that it was a love match, as opposed to his first marriage, which was a political union and ended after the Queen's suddenly fell ill and died. Hana and her full siblings have never been accorded as much worth in the court as the Heir-Apparant and his full brothers. She is the second daughter in the family, with her older sister being a full sibling. Hollenhannah grew up in the lap of luxury with minimal expectations on her future; she was raised to expect to be married for a political union. She was trained in all the usual arts: diplomatic speaking and ediquette, alien cultures, music and, because of Corellia's strong space-faring tradition, piloting. Hollenhannah might have lived in relative obscurity, save for two things. In BBY 1882, she participated in a starfighter race in celebration of the anniversity of her father's inaguration. It was for the nobles, and everyone expected that Tristan, the Heir-Apparant, would be the victor. Princess Hollenhannah stole the win, through a daring run that caught the hearts of the Corellians, who love courageous action of all kinds, particularly when done from the pilot's seat. The public nicknamed her Holli, adopting her as the planet's darling, much to the chagrin of the nobles, who didn't enjoy the princess' increased reputation in the public eye. Within a couple of months of the race, the princess had disappeared from the public eye. There were rumors that her half-brother, angered that she had stolen the race from him, had arranged for her to be sent to a distant rim planet. But the public relations spokeswoman for the royal family stated that she had simply stepped away to take a sabbatical. Since then, the occassional "Princess Holli" sighting has been reported throughout the galaxy, briefly bringing the princess back into the spotlight. The Soldier Hana doesn't tell people where she's from, though she's happy to boast about her abilities as a gun-for-hire or a pilot. She's decent enough at both that she isn't exactly lying when she claims proficiency in either, though she's best when in the cockpit of a fighter. Many find her to be amusing and charming, if a little naive and unwise. She's quick to smile, and clearly fights any frowns that might cross her face. She's fond of her Astromech droid, R4, in the way that only someone who loves easily can be fond of automated tin cans. She is a hopeless romantic; she even believes in true love, the kind that lasts forever. She eagerly awaits her turn at love. The only darkness to the young woman is her passion for hunting and finding slavers. There's some history there, though the young woman doesn't easily talk about it. She's very eager to find something, something related to the slavers. They took something from her and she wants it back.
  23. Steam filled the small room as the shower’s running stream of hot water fogged the mirrors and frosted glass door. A pale silhouette, visible behind the frost, swayed lazily as she allowed herself he opportunity to relax and enjoy the hot water to drench her curves. Her hands pushed through her soaked hair. It was so platinum blond that it almost appeared a silvery-gray color while wet. Several ‘bleeps’ and ‘bloops’ broke her silent relaxation. “I don’t know Ayvee,” the desperate noble said over the rushing water. “I really don’t know what we’re going to do.” AV-8R, Evana’s pilot droid, rolled into the refresher, his mechanized servos humming in contrast to the shower. The purple R4 unit turned its domed head in the direction of where Evana was soaking. He wobbled and made more noises. “I know, I know… get me a towel, please,” the water went silent and the glass door slid open. Ayvee’s claw manipulator rose up slowly and handed her a towel as best he could for his size. She thanked her companion as she draped it around her and walked into the main living area of her small dwelling. “We’re kind of screwed little guy.” Ayvee went “wooooooo” to express his unlove of the situation. “We aren’t going to get very far with the Sith hounding our every step, that’s for sure.” With another towel in hand she dried her hair. “We can’t keep running and hiding though. Ugh… this is all so… way to big for me.” Punctuated by a sigh of frustration Evana collapsed backward on her bed. “We’re never getting home Ayvee. We’re going to die out here in the Corellia Sector of Nar Shaddaa. Fun huh?” Ayvee bleeped out binary that Evana seemed fairly adept at understanding. He began detailing the difference in her and him, mostly her death being permanent while he could simply be rebuilt and continue on and with a standard memory wipe would most likely not even recall who she was afterwards. “You totally suck at making me feel better. You know that?” She rolled her eyes and sighed again. The scant clad young beauty rolled over on to her tummy, keeping care to remain tucked properly in her towel, her pillow near her head. She unfolded and put on her glasses from off of her nightstand. Stretching one more time she pulled over her book shaped datapad. She spoke a phrase in an odd tongue and the magnetic locking clasp flashed three times in red until finally blinking green and unlatching with a mechanical ‘click’. It was a rather novel disguise for a datapad. Most nobles and prominent diplomats were fond acquiring designer comms and datapads, it was just a way to display ones station silently. On the left side of the ‘book’ a LCD display quickly spelled out a greeting and ‘booted’ up with Evana’s personal theme, a pastel array of flowers and cute bunnies but that’s not what interested her tonight. On the right side of the pages nine data cards were tucked safely away in little niches squeezed into their own little section in three rows of three. Next to those cards, taking up the left half of the ‘page’ was Evana’s most sacred treasure: her father’s lightsaber. Gently her fingertips traced their way over the Jedi weapon. “It was my Dad’s,” she said to Ayvee. “He’d have known what to do.” Ayvee could express only a ‘Oooo’ in binary as his organic master seemed to become lost in memory.
