  1. To tell the truth, my interest has been waning on this a bit, mainly because of the mostly absent GM. I really do want this to go forward, but that can only happen if the GM puts some effort into it.
  2. The water was inviting and clean. Jysala just wanted to wash all this gunk off. Sure it was, in some way, her gunk, but she didn't want to be covered in sickness. Her blessings allowed her the ability no not be bothered by things like breathing, so she stayed in the clean little lake for a while. It was like a watery cocoon for her. She knew she had to surface and reluctantly did so. When she came up for air, she heard Kor'ki's voice. ,, Her spear, where was it? She looked around. Nowhere here. "Maybe in the cart," she yelled out in the harsh low elven dialect, "I'll check when I get out." She quickly jumped out and headed towards the ruined caravan, searching high and low for her spear.
  3. Jysala shook her head at Djane, "Don't do that. This is made from my life force. Any damage that comes to it may come to me. And besides," she points over to a pristine looking lake. "I don't know how any of this happened," she answers Silhouette without looking at her as she walks over to the lake, "the last thing I remember is being approached by two young black clad girls. They told me to relax and I had no choice in the matter. When I woke up i was unbound from that thing." She looks over to Kor'ki with a bit of a muffled grimace for a second to see his reaction. She doesn't linger on it though. She throws off her leather apron and wades into the warm and inviting lake, diving in when she gets deep enough.
  4. Computers are being taken in on Monday. Depending on the time of the repair person and the severity of the stuff needed, it could be same day, it could be Wednesday. But that's at the latest. You can have me disappear for now
  5. I'm still here! Just wading through the kids's winter break. Will be back posting in full when I get that done.
  6. Jysala's staff ground into floor when the goth tween twins were prancing around. She wanted to tackle one down and ask were everyone was. And why this certain group had been chosen. And why they were so tiny. Seriously she could break both of them in one sitting. Still that wasn't the point at the moment. They were gone and there was a map. To them? Maybe. Jysala crouched. "No tracks." the first words that came out of her mouth in a while. Were they even real? Jysala had a new driving goal. Find the twins. Pay them back for not letting her tackle them. Taking a deep breath, she stood up again. "We should find the people they stole," Jysala said lying through her teeth, "Kor'ki seems quite angered that he didn't get his mating done. I, uh, care about the welfare of the missing people." She nodded slowly with a forced grin.
  7. Jysala scowled at the cloaked woman. She was going to have her fire water contest with red coat. Or at least she WOULD have had it before a woman popped out of the ring. She looked at the oddly dressed woman with a slight right head tilt. Jysala heard something come out of the genie's mouth but she was too busy trying to figure out what happened. Stabbing the impetuous cloaked figure would have to wait. Drinking the red coat under the table would have to wait. No, this deserved her full attention. She held tightly onto her staff with one hand. "Who... What are you?"
  8. [Moira Morley] 8:43 pm: -Perceptioning the conversation between Silhouette and Ryoma [Mike] 8:43 pm: Nope. Moira Morley *rolls* 1d20: 20+10: 30 [Kamiko] 8:44 pm: Jordan: Thanks for rousing my curiosity. [Moira Morley] 8:44 pm: BAM [Moira Morley] 8:44 pm: Witness? [Kamiko] 8:44 pm: Moira: OOOOOOH! CRIT [Mike] 8:44 pm: Yep, that's a success. You *may* even hear Djane's tiny tiny voice. [Kamiko] 8:44 pm: I'm Kamiko, and I approve that roll.
  9. Jysala looked a bit confused herself. This guy was a bit of a lightweight to be talking to jewelry after not one fire water. Quietly watching the whole thing with a chuckle, drinking her own fire water. Then she got interested, wondering who the cloaked woman was appearing from out of nowhere. She made sure it wasn't the fire water showing her things by prodding Kor'ki, "See that?" Jysala asked curiously. He nodded. "Excuse me for a second." Jysala she grunted, getting up. She eased over that way. Stealthy as a gorilla she was, but she heard the conversation crystal clear. When the cloaked woman asked if the red coat knew her. She spoke up in her broken Common tongue, "We're here on our own. Not talking to rings. Quite funny if you ask me." She grinned, "I can probably drink more than you."
  10. Jysala, Low Elf Witch - PL 10 Age: 223 Height: 6'0" (1.83m) Weight: 160 lbs (73kg) Character Model (NWS) Of low elf birth, Jysala was taught from day one to survive in the harshest environment, her own tribe. As soon as she was able to walk she learned to hunt.and fight. She learned that only the strong survived. She learned that the Ka'shana (low elves) were the strongest. Jysala excelled at battle, but her true calling was to be a witch. The witches themselves were on par warriors, but they had a different job, keeping the warriors alive in battle. Their use of magic was not fancy or elegant like the Ka'vala (high elves), but it got the job done. Every morning, Jysala would wake up before the crack of dawn to witness their hunts. She would also listen in on their nightly rituals. When she came of age she petitioned the matron mother witch to join their ranks. The matron mother had saw her eagerness to learn through the years and took her under her wing. The witch training was was long. Years of excruciatingly painful work, but by the end of it she was hardened. There was one last thing she would do before becoming a witch. There were only three witches a tribe. She had to kill her mentor. No, she wouldn't become the matron mother witch, one of the others would step in her place, but Jysala would become a witch. After a long battle with the matron mother witch, Jysala struck the final blow. Her two new sisters would welcome her to the fold after that. Jysala, over the years, saw many things happen in her tribe. Some things she did not like. The chieftain most of all. She saw him as a weak leader. Too passive. Not enough expansion of the tribe. The tribe elders sensed Jysala's mutinous ways. When mating season came, the three witches would present themselves to the chieftain first. Not wanting to take any chances with Jysala getting uppity, the tribe elders forbade that this year. After they told the chieftain of their worries, he wanted to see Jysala personally. Alone. Jysala would oblige this meeting, getting ready for a challenge. After a long heated argument, Jysala took the initiative to attack. Little did she know that the chieftain was able to sense her every move. The chieftain even showed magical prowess of his own. Ka'vala magic! He was going to dispatch her, but he had other plans. He spared her, put her into a deep sleep. When she awoke she was in the middle of nowhere. There was nothing but vengeance in her mind now. However, she knew she would have to get more powerful to defeat the chieftain and replace him. She set out into the world of man to find her way. 11. Jysala shook her head. she remembered the last three establishments. The establishment owners didn’t seem to mind her walking in but on the way out they threw every one of their accusations at her. Wasn’t her fault they werent ready for a sneak attack. Walking over to a corner table she sat in a chair and stretched, then lit a candle. unlike the dwarves she could not see in pitch blackness. The waitress came to take their order looking at the two elves the waitress didn’t say much and wanted to flee. She quietly asked them what they wanted to drink. “I’ll take your strongest fire water,” she said a bit loudly in Common.
  12. Jysala knew of the world of man’s restrictions on things. She didn’t care much for that whole “jail" thing. so she stayed out of big towns. She and her travelling companion, Kor’ki (a high elf, she never thought she would live to see the day when she would travel with Ka’vala) were in a smaller settlement now. Something orcish. Something that used to be orcish at least. These tents interested her though. Some were busy selling things. Others were just families. It was like a surprise in everyone. She was eventually stopped by Kor’ki. Not because he cared, but because he saw their destination. A non tent building. There was a stylized picture of a beautiful woman tipping back a tankard and looking quite sloshed. When they walked in a few eyes turned their way. but no one said anything to the two elves. Jysala gripped her staff as the room fell quiet. All except for the woman singing baleful tunes. Jysala had been in establishments like this before. It was Kor’ki that introduced her to them. The drinks they served there were strong. She always felt a burning in her throat and a lightness in her head when she drank them. Though those nights usually ended with them geting thrown out of the establishment. Too many wanted to mate with her. She said she would say “No" one more time. and they didn’t listen. So they were obviously looking for a beating. A beating she gave them soundly. Though this was irrelevant now. “Kor’ki," Jysala said in their elven tongue, “ “Isn’t it a little bit early to be in this place? We usually wait until the sky turns dark."
