Appearance: Autumn is a pleasant-looking young woman with long, naturally curly red hair and sea-colored eyes harboring a ring of faint amber flecks around the iris. She rarely wears makeup, and often keeps her tresses bound up in a thick braid. When not in uniform, she is typically dressed in faded jeans, trail-worn hiking boots, and a tank top or cotton t-shirt under a hoodie or flannel shirt. She has the sturdy, athletic build of someone accustomed to physical exertion, and her fair skin bears the fading remnants of cinnamon freckles overlaid by a subtle wash of copper.

An easy smile is often on her lips, and her mannerisms indicate either an impressive lack of self-consciousness, or a carefully calculated measure of bravado.

Background: A Colorado native, this is Autumn's first semester at Dalton. She arrived on campus a few days behind schedule, and was quickly assigned to a room with another junior in Persephone. Rumors have already begun to circulate about the circumstances of her hasty transfer, with the most persistent hinting that she was in some kind of trouble before she arrived at the academy.

Personality: Autumn isn't the most brilliant, or most disciplined of students, and frequently seems bored, or distracted. She smiles easily, and often, and appears to be largely unconcerned with social posturing or maneuvering. Or, really, social anything. Pleasant as she is, some few students have remarked that sometimes she doesn't really seem all that interested in people, often staring over their shoulder as they talk or breaking off in mid-conversation to go do something else. It's not quite condescending, but definitely rude enough to grate on a few nerves.
