Avenger Posted August 18, 2001 Share Posted August 18, 2001 Well now that the thread has gotten a little extra life and I've had some time to do some more work, I thought I'd come to you all to find out exactly which nova should be my next endeavor. As I said in the last thread, perhaps it's time to take a poll, so that's what I'm doing.The two questions then are (a)What girls (or guys?) do you want to see, and (b)What level of smuttitude (god, what a great word) should they be in? Even had the good fortune to pick up a large portion of XXXenophile cards, got the whole comic series and I've got the AD&D-style TPB that followed. That's pretty high smuttitude, which, truth be known, is what I prefer personally. Years of squirreling away even the most meager scrap of pornography as a stunted youth has left me desensitized to all but the most hardcore pornography has to offer. By the by, I feel that the smutitude should be left to the artists, so I won't be making suggestions about that. Teh ladies are first, naturally. I'm sure this is expected but I think Slider has to be included, for several raesons. Not the least is that I love redheads. Breaking my smutitude thing above, I think a pic of Alejandra would be great but would almost have to be pretty light on raciness. Just a thought based on the character, 'course maybe she has a wild side? *shrug* I still think Shrapnel would be neat, partially because I had a character who had a thing for her in a game. I know that it has been mentioned as difficult, here's a thought. Maybe do Shrapenl as she is starting to transform from Allison (baseline) into Shrapnel. That would be a lot easier to make sexy, as it were, plus allowing you to play with the erupting metal and such in any number of interesting ways. I think a lot could be done with T2M member Splash, as well as some of the lesser known T2Mers like Firefly and Geyser. That also gives the artist more maneuvering room since there are few to no published pictures. Going back to the TErats, NArcosis and Swarm Queen also seem like good candidates for the same reasons I just mentioned. I'd also like to put out a vote for Sophia Rousseau. Okay, so she's a redhead too, but she's also enough of an interesting character that it would be neat to see what the mystery woman does to unwind. I'd also like to secind some of the above ideas. Geisha, the ladies of Nippontai, MIchelle MEdford. Along the lines of some of the lesser known Player's Guide folks how about the gals from the Northern Lights? Being partially Scandanavian, I can certainly appreciate such a thing. Swedish Nova Team anyone?All right, the guys. For many of the reasons I feel Slider is necessary, I think Corbin has to be included. Other guys I think some fun art sould be done with would include Thorn, think of all you could dod with those vines. Core, just for being a frickin' huge guy. Kikjak would be appropriate, still masked of course. Ironskin Andy Vance is a character that amuses me to no end, I think that he is a natural for such a project. There's always the big guys like Pax or Mal but...Eh, I think they would be better left alone. On anote with some of the things mentioned for the gals, if you're going to do "the girls of _____" (fill in nova team here) why not so the same for the men on the team? Although I think Orzais is one of the most boring characters I can think of. But girls are more fun to look at anyways.I don't really have any suggestions. I'd love to see how an artist would draw the more monsterous of them. However Geryon in spedos is truly frightening. I'd be happy really just to see any of them in any sort of smuttitude. The first and foremost being in anticipation of the call for glasnost from females and/or guys whow want to see naked guys. One of the reasons I really liked comics like XXXenophile was because it featured men and women equally. For the most part, I haven't had a lot of reponce to this subject at all, so the number of women who want to see naked nova men is naturally notably low. Bear in mind as well that just because a male is in a picture, it doesn't mean he isn't there with a female. While there may yet be pictures of bareassed nova guys proudly displaying their engorged hoo-hoo-diddys, the question of who and what was more a matter of what men (if any) would feature alongside the women.By the way, man, I'm totally with you on Guggie. Something about a woman who could break you in half, yeah?And the picture(s) of Jenny will be super-duper classy. What, you think I'm going to post up smutty pictures of my girl for other guys to look at? I can't make any guarantees, but I thought I'd at least make the offer. It's almost to the point now that if I continue, we'll be releasing several 'folios, each with a different theme. He's a great character though, and I'd love to see a good artist do soemthing with him. Actually if you want to do him, let me know. I can send you a description although there's only been one drawing of him ever done and I don't think I could find it. Hydra's another guy who has gone through some changes as I played him, so it might be interesting to see which version would be the most fun. Anyway, I think I've gotten away from the point. If you want to draw Hydra, gof or it. I'll send you a complete description. Might be fun. Besides, it oculd be something to supplement the Teragen folio. Heh. Have fun all!
